Thank you, for making and sharing this. I've got the same gauge set, I find that it holds 29/30 HG vacuum for fine, however when I close the LP valve the gauge rises to 0 within about a minute. I can hear the leak, but not sure if it's coming from the same location as in this video or possibly the LP valve.

@charlesdavid5137 definitely want to test your hose (if you're losing pressure with them attached) nylog sealant when fully cured should take care of you. The gauge threads side and hose connection threads should be sprayed by a bubbler solution. The same company that makes nylog "BLU" have a non water based bubbling formula specific for checking HVAC leaks. Enjoy your gauge set, it's well priced considering fieldpiece and yellow jackets are the top of the line apart from mastercool and all 3 have a more ...shall we say PREMIUM price tag 😄

@@TOOL_TECHNICAL thank you for your reply. Will do that for sure. This is literally the only diagnostic tool I own that is of this quality. When I got it years ago, I never thought I would be doing what I am right now. I'm gonna upgrade soon.

@@charlesdavid5137 No problem! I think the first upgrade anyone should go for is low leak hoses to release as little refrigerant as possible when disconnecting lines (especially the high side ports)
