This is for the comments on not being tied to your first niche. It causes a lot of stress to feel like you as a seller has to be in one box, which is very common advice that I hear out there! Also, your statement on Etsy being a longer game is much appreciated!
Thank you for this, so helpful. I have 21 listing up so far and only 2 sales. But I will keep going! Oh and I would love to see a video on how to make your own mockup store for etsy. I cannot find anything online about how to create mockups to sell on etsy. Thank you!
I create mockups, you have to buy the products to make them! I ordered a bunch of sweatshirts and tshirts of the products I sell and photograph them at home and then edit them using canva and my ipad
Relate to your first point about hiding business ventures from friends and family. I am the same way and only want to show successes. haha I'm trying to stay in it until the ball gets rolling. Thanks for all your help here, TikTok and on Facebook!
I started a print on demand Etsy store, about 3 months ago. The first month was pretty tough, but I did have friends and family buy some of them and leave me reviews and it really helped ALOT. In September, my sales really picked up. I have over 100 products up there and I'm making about a sale a day now, that's still not too great, as after my production, shipping and ads costs, I'm not really seeing much profits yet, but I'm close to making Etsy Star Seller now. I love it so far, and I REALLY hope it takes off and I can quit my job lol
If you have only 100 listings and are getting a sale a day that is amazing!!! You should be definitely making profit though now, I never find ads are profitable for me! Raise your prices and get printify premium
@@c.u.online I did get premium this month, I think I was just pricing my products too low. I was trying to get more traction in the begining and was barely breaking even. But I recently increased my prices and saw an immediate increase in profit. Im just praying that tomorrow Ill get star seller on Etsy and that it will increase my traffic significantly.
Great advice! Especially about sticking with selling something you love to do. I tried metal and POD jewelry and hated it, so I'm back to clothing, which Iove. That really resonated with me. Keep up the great work.
Knowing about the possible ban ahead of time helped me a lot. I would have freaked out otherwise. I was super lucky and got my account back the next day after sending an email.
thats awesome! when I first had it i FREAKED out too and so many people write me telling me they dont know why they were banned. I am glad you were prepared and thats amazing you got it back the next day! they seem to be getting faster
Not sure if it is possible, but I would be very interested in seeing a video of you auditing someone’s Etsy store. Provided they give you permission to film it. Thx.
😂 omg I was watching my video back and every time I do that’s when I notice my plants need some love. Thank you and wishing you the best with store launch!
@@bokofinn2690 yup! You don’t upload it to Etsy until after you’ve created it in printify and pushed it to Etsy, then you go Etsy your Etsy listing after and add it

@@abigfish1620 What is your average price? Are you only doing shirts/hoodies?
@@Haunted-Halls I focus on gaming mouse pads and desk mats, they range from 20 to 40 dollars. I think the average is like 30.
@@abigfish1620 That's awesome! I'm still trying to think/find a good niche, I feel like the shirts/hoodies is way oversaturated lol
Ugh, yes I was suspended the day after I opened AND again after my first sale -_-

Ya my exact experience! Everyone hyped up metal art and I just didn’t love it

What do you think of opening shopify store with the same designes
Love this! Can you consider doing a video about how to personalize a product pls?
I have a video on this :) one of my other videos
Such great advice!!!
Be proud is sooooo true and never talked about!!!
I debated keeping that in and I’m glad I did! It’s always so nerve wracking telling people about new businesses

id love to add these! I'll start creating some of these if I can get permission from people :)
Great video and information, thanks.
Your hanging plant needs water, thanks so much for your content I'm learning everyday and close to launch my store. 😅🙏

How do I upload my mock up onto my Etsy shop from Canva? Thank you
Save the file from canva as a PNG or JPEG and upload it to your canva listing photos
If I add a listing to Etsy from printify am I able to add the mock up photo after?

Thank you very much! Truly appreciate it! New sub, love your tips! Elyssa
