    Hi Prof Raj
I am a ALOHAFer. Liked your video as you have refreshed in an hour what I learnt in the 40 hours Coursera course on Happiness I did three years back and was slowly forgetting. Thanks

I feel like I've learned all these things either through instances or self-pondering. But this is like all of it summarized in a coherent structured manner

    Joy > Happiness

Consistent happiness doesn't not exist. Happiness only exists in moments. For example when you win a lottery, when you get married. Those things come and go. Hence happiness comes and goes. What people should be looking for is perfect peace. Having no inner conflict. That's what people should be seeking. It's beautiful having zero inner conflict. It's like heaven having perfect peace. Perfect peace is consistent and an everyday state of living.

Setting happiness as a goal just creates fake smiles, normative happiness that turns into his opposite in the worst case. Happiness is a side product of setting and achieving pursuable intrinsically motivated goals. This video is so typical for Googles shallow corporate ideology.

I used to smoke a pack of cigarettes a day and drink a pint of whiskey a day. I am much happier vaping nicotine and drinking a pint of vodka a day. Less hangovers and vape doesn't stink. 😂
