The TPS needs to have the screw holes slotted so you can twist it in place. Then put a multimeter on the hot and ground. Twist and mess with it to get it as close to .99 ohms as possible without going over 1.0 it is finicky so be patient. That completely fixed my idle hunting issue and I've seen many with this problem.
Initially I thought the red painted intake looked good until I realized they painted it still attached to the motor. They even painted the vacuum tubes. Lol.

Not sure if this will help any of your problems, but I built a 5.0 20 years ago, and had idling issues since day one. Life kept me busy so it actually sat in the garage, and would take it out occasionally. Maybe 200 miles a year. Anyway, now to my fix. I had the itch to drive it, and was determined to find out the problem. I first sprayed throttle body cleaner all around to find a vacuum leak, but did not find anything. I finally started with the base idle set, and no success so I knew it was something else. I then went to check fuel pressure, and when I removed the vacuum line on my BBK adjustable fuel regulator, it was spitting fuel out of the vacuum port. I found this was an issue from brand new on the model with the vacuum port that comes out the side of the housing. They improved the internals on the newer versions where the port is vertical on the housing. If anyone has an older BBK adjustable fuel pressure regulator, the first thing you should do is remove the vacuum line, put your finger over the port and a finger on the vacuum line. See if it idles now. Mine started idling as soon as I did that. I just put in a fixed regulator from Autozone for the time being in my car, and it idles good.

Yes sir make it adjustable, get it close to 1. Instananous throttle response. Guy car was a driver. I didn't ohm it out
@@keepondreaming3870 the .99 ohms is supposed to be .5 to 1.0 dc volts not ohms
Iac, new vacuum lines under intake to tree and vacuum canister. Drilled out tps and ohmed it close to .99.

You don't have a mass air flow sensor on the intake
