I’m still rocking Sony headphones from probably close to 20 years ago. They’re so old that they have a freaking battery compartment, and they’re wired headphones. I don’t even know what model they are because the manual went missing a long time ago, but I do recall that the manual had a straight up MP3 player picture in it.
@@lildarkie909 yeah haha, they were great though. Now im using a gaming headset Logitech a30s. They are awesome! Detachable mic with Bluetooth and App EQ which updates especially when you use the dongle on PS5. Really nice lows mids & highs.
snnheiser momentum 4's are also a pretty good alternative to the xm5's for 50 dollars less but still with the newer design and imo better audio then the xm5's
That’s what I got. Great pair of headphones if you can avoid the jank. A little roughy around the edges in terms at times but the sound quality, build quality, comfort and battery life far make up for it.
I love my crushers, been using them forever and I’ve never dropped them, but the one time I did drop them from about 4 feet onto the gym floor they broke😢 I can’t really complain though especially when they only cost 150$
I like the xm4s more because they are more comfortable and they actually fold, and the sound quality upgrades are pretty minimal. For anyone shopping for headphones I would recommend the xm4s. As someone who owns the xm5s and 4s, the sound and noise cancelling upgrades are minimal and the xm4s are much cheaper, can fold, and are more comfortable
I own both the xm5 and the qc45. Tbh they are both amazing i like the xm5 quite a bit more because of the tap features and the mix of bass and clarity. Qc45 however fit amazing and also sound amazing!
I have the WH-CH710N’s and these things are absolutely amazing. The battery life is great, it’s damn near indestructible and survives gamer rage, the audio quality is amazing, and it’s only $100
I have the xm4’s and the only problem I have with them is that they aren’t the best with multiple devices, and the speak to chat feature randomly turns on and makes it impossible to be in calls
Imo fuck skullcandy i gave them 3 chances good bass and sound quality good battery life when you have all three earbuds ive got have had connection issues after like 2 months
Im so suprised the skullcandys got into this top 3. I use them, and i bloody love em 😂. That bass scroller is used so much more often than youd think. Them headphones never get old! Personally they arent actually that much of a good pair that you want reccommending to the world, but instead youd be wanting to be looking at Sennheiser, bose, jbl, sony, AKG, ext. Skullcandys are fun and really adictive however bot the pair of headphones for a person who only likes normal listening. Still happy to see my babys showing up here 🎉

@@Qursuu The ANC 2s probably are a great option too. Still Not audiophile like the Crusher evos, but they still have the fun bass scroller and they still feel great on your head. Id say maybe even better (and my heads fat!) They have a better app for apple/android than the crusher evos if that is also a need. Personally id eq them to make them sound flat and then you can really see how much bass they have xD. They have more bass than the crusher evos, just they dont play the low bass notes as good. One sacrifice for another. If you want em, buy em, and bust your eardrums with em ;) Hope this helps

@@Ceobub after a long while with them, they do irritate the ears a little after long usage, which isn’t a deal breaker for me but it might be for you. It has a similar eq to AirPods or other recent beats headphones. Noise canceling is great, transparency is mid, overall great if you get it at the on sale price point. Though, if you have the money I’d consider the Sony xm5s or, there are leaks of new AirPods Max coming this year, but take that with a grain of salt. If you’re a bass head these likely won’t do it for you unless you EQ it for more bass.

Facts I bought my sister the xm4s for college and tried them out. They sounded terrible! Granted I’m comparing them to my sennheiser hd 560s which is leagues above the Sony in sound quality and still somehow cheaper. The gen 2 AirPod pros with Headphone Accommodations and spatial audio on even sound more open and clear than the Sonys. Sony needs to work on their sound quality for everything they make. Their bt speakers sound like trash too.

I made the mistake myself of getting some Momentum 4's from Sennheisser, they are quite okay compared to the Sony XM4/5s but they are also leagues below the IEM i use now when i go outside. And that one is also blocking out noise very well and the difference between a semi custom IEM that closes up your whole ear and some ANC headphones aren't that big anymore. But in terms of Sound Quality the difference is night and day. (Using the Blessing 3 atm.). And when i am at home i use my HD600 anyways

All sony headphones I’ve ever had malfunctioned within a couple months due to some faulty wiring error. Switched to sennheiser and they are incredible, especially if you’re listening to heavier genres

Soundcore has a lot of sponsors, and they sound great in theory. Build quality is decent. They pack in a ton of features for the price. The major issue is sound quality. Little to no clarity, muffled sound, and not much bass or treble accuracy. For 100 bucks they're ok, but there's not really that many options at that specific price range. Either go higher or go lower. 100$ is just a price range where you're not going to be satisfied with the products you buy at that price.
My mum broke my headphones yesterday. I had a pair of Sony WH-CH510s which were good but the mic was a bit weird and they slipped off of my head easily. I'll look into your recommendations

I have the XM4 and after watching a couple videos, all you get with the XM5 is a cooler look imo, better noise canceling, a little longer battery life, and maybe better sound. XM4 are just better cause they're top end and sound great and do everything to xm5 can for 100 dollars less
