I do feel like the poster has a point. I've been researching and debating it myself. The best fighter, in sense a blanket term for just an individual who fights, is one who knows all the tools of the trade. Muay thai, will forever stay muay thai, but we get those fucking legends who use it in modern sports. Buakaw, lerdsila, yodsanklai, samkor, gonapar, kaew, that one dancing dude. A good fighter even if held back by archaic styles can still whip modern ass.

I've been watching muay thai before people knew what it was back when people thought muay thai was a fighter. There are at least 5 different styles. Look up muay boran the father of muay thai.

@One Three k1 2016-now. He has one a belt once, and lost it once. But he has the capability of not fighting like the usual muay thai fighter. He's really hard to find but Japan plays his fights on youtube.
