Well, we've watched all of your videos but we think this is your best yet. Your camera work is good, even the shots from the boat. What a difference it makes when you comment on the things you're seeing, much better, we loved it. Needless to say we hope you continue doing this in future videos. We never knew of the boat trip on Malthouse Broad, that will be something will do in the future. We've learnt of many new places that you've shown us on previous videos, places we never knew existed, so thank you for keeping us pleasantly busy. We sometimes see you at Ludham Bridge but don't like to interrupt what you're doing. Keep up the good work. Ian and Angie.
Aww thank you both x I’m so pleased you’ve found new places to visit from my videos, that’s all I’ve ever wanted to achieve. People finding new things to do and new places to find. Still even now, despite living here so long, I still find new places myself. There’s no point in keeping places secret, it’s always far nicer to share them I think. I know it’s daft, but I still struggle to speak in my videos. I don’t know why. It’s work in progress 🥴😅 Please say hello next time you see me, you’re not interrupting at all. See you soon 😀🛥⛵️
Thank you, wasn’t he great. Who knew he had such stunning features close up , his legs especially . I thought he would catch the fly and eat it, but no I was wrong. They live happily together. Thanks for watching 😀
@@NewnameSameme You managed to film an otter too. I am definitely going to call in at the Ranworth visitirs center next time. Much better than going up the church tower 😀
😂😂😂🙈 It’s not great filming sadly as these things happen so quickly but it was definitely an otter 🦦. I’d hoped to see the kingfishers but sadly that wasn’t to be today. I go there any time of year. Snow, rain, hail and just sit on the bench. It’s so peaceful. No boats, no people, just the grebes and me . Take a flask of coffee, sit for an hour and wonder back. It’s incredibly beautiful when it’s snowed there.
Just enjoying this video. I was reminded of a track by Dreadzone, A Canterbury Tale. You probably can't use it but the final words are " what would I give to grow old in a place like this". We are lucky aren't we?
Thank you so much, we always enjoy your videos, your voice is so soft and gentle, perfectly complements them. Love Norfolk, coming down again in September, looking forward to it.
Great video. Wanted to take my daughter to the top of the church tower back in May as the view over the Broads is fantastic but it was closed due to Covid :o((
Well 😅, that church tower !! I will master it one day. 1st time , I got vertigo half way up the metal ladder !!! 2nd time I only made it half way up the concrete steps before having to go back down again. Never before have I suffered with vertigo but now it strikes when I least expect 😱 . I wrote in the visitors book both times that I’d failed 😂😂😂 haha one day I’ll do it hopefully. I even find it tricky getting down the first step at the top of the tower to start going back down! I’m hopeless 🙈😂😂😂
@@NewnameSameme that is such a shame. Mind you, it is quite a few years since I was last up there and, possibly, with the trees growing etc. the views might not be quite as good now.
Lovely video once again, love malthouse broad and ranworth broad, we moored on our mud weight for 3 different nights back in May….really enjoyed watching other boaters trying to race one another to get to the moorings at Malthouse only to find no empty moorings available. We’ve loved being on the broads for the last 26 yrs, and it was lovely to meet you and have a chat when we moored at Ludham Bridge in May aswell. Keep up the good work, your videos are great.xx😄⛵️
Thank you for your very kind words. I’m rarely out on the water but when I am it’s like a totally different world 🛥⛵️ Lots of boats today so grateful someone else was steering the boat. 🙈 May seems such a long time ago but actually it’s only about 12 weeks. Let me know when you’re back and we will chat again 😀 Thank you for watching and supporting my channel. x
lovely video , ive never been on one of those trips , i'll have to try it , it looked like there was a forum meet on at ranworth , with the boats & their flags .i really hope i get down there this year .
Actually saw us in this video whilst on holiday, we are in the yellow boat, Melody 2 firstly seen moored at Ranworth and a few seconds later seen leaving the broad
@@NewnameSameme will do thank you, we only live in Bungay but love to holiday on the broads, lovely to have such a wonderful area right on our doorstep. I saw brought up in Wroxham so I think the broads is in my blood.
Oh, it definitely will be. The River Waveney is my last bit of the Broads to film. Lots of local people holiday on the Broads. You see places, that you can only ever see by boat. I take day boats out and go out investigating too. It’s so much fun. I was on the Norfolk Wildlife Trust boat the day I filmed there. A brilliant trip. 🛥⛵️
@@NewnameSameme yeah fingers crossed the rain stays away so can have the roof pulled back as much as possible. I'll be on the fair empress if anyone wants to wave 😊
Hello.....You will get a big wave and an ice cream if the ice cream boat is around next week...!.....lol
Beautiful video...as usual...!
That’s so kind, thank you.
🛥⛵️
I’m enjoying seeing your lovely videos. Coming next May for the first time.
Thank you so much for your very kind words.
Have a wonderful holiday. 🛥⛵️

All who live here are extremely lucky indeed.
You certainly are, hopefully we will be living down there, when we retire. For now, we come down in June and again in September, so can't complain.
