The separatist has some of the best tanks and vehicles My favorite ones are homing spider droid armored assault tank Crab droid droid tank defoliator tank and the super tanks
I love the Separatist/CIS faction while being one of my favorites from Starwars Legends. Theirs the Forgotten vehicles that you didn't mention. Theirs the Separatist/CIS (Harbinger Tank Transport) It has a prototype weapon, called the variable geometry turbo laser, that can focus it's power into one devastating beam or split it up into at least 10 separate beams of energy. It also has 8 twin heavy laser cannons, four on the front, and four on the rear. In the hangers it can carry AATs, MTTs, and other vehicles. The Separatist/CIS also has the Armored Scout platform- (ASP) (Their upgraded and it also gives protection to droid pilots.) MTTs Their are also a few others that you havent mentioned that i found.
I love the prequel era vehicles. Unlike the OT era vehicles, their design actually makes sence and unlike the OT era vehicles, theyre actually conveived for battles and not just for getting blown up by rebels.

While having other planets like Utatpu, Umbara, Felicia, Mygetto, and Grevious home planet While the Empire had the capital planets of Coursasant, Kamino, and Endor The Separatist have unqiue creative designs of space ships in its Navy. Of Dreadnaughts, destoyers, Frigites, Carriers, Cruisers, Supply ships, and other types. Like the Lucehulks carriers/ destroyers. While having thousands of Capital ships to hundreds of thousands of Capital ships, having millions of ships while having billions of Vulture droid fighers/tri droids/hyena bombers/droid gunships They have 5 or 7 Subajators They have 5 super weapons ○ Dark Reaper ○ The Melvorance ○ The Devastor ○The Stealth ship ○The Protodeath star While the Empire has over 25,000 star destoyers. While including victory class destoyers, Victory II class destoyers. 10 to 100 of the Super star destoyers. Though the Empire had Billions of Stormtroopers compared to the Quadrillions and Quintillions of Separatist droids 1. Their are Hundreds, thousands, millions, Billions, Trillions, Quadrillions, and Quintillions of unique CIS/Separatist droids of both Quality and Quanity. Of super rare, rare, Epic, Legendry, and Common To name some; Protodekas, Scorpenek Annilator droids , Mark II Droideka/destroyer droids, Droidekas, BX Commando droids, Heavy Commando droids, IG 100 Magna Guards , buzz droids, B3 Ultra Super battle droids, Cortosis super battle droids, Golden super battle droids-(Resistance to Electricity, Explosives, blasters, lightsabers, , fires more rare than Cortoris super battle droids.) 2. The Separatist/CIS faction have the species of the; ○Geonosians/Undead Geonosians/egg, worm things that can infect clones and Humans and use them as an army. ○Umbarans-(Very Advanced.) ○Gendi -(Super species.) ○The Collicoid ○Hapes- Their Human while being an Ally to the Separatist/CIS faction 3. The CIS/Separatist faction has Dooku, Grevious, Durge, Ventress, Maul, Jango Fett, Cad Bane, Trench, Kalani-(Super Tactical droid.) The female chiss commader that led Separatist forces while being force sensitive.
Reminder, the Empire already annexed larges parts of the CIS zone, caps the council and shut down the army. And dooku order the unaliving of the cis competent leader such as that female chiss character from legend timeline.
I don't know, these ground assets are very good. The droid army is undeniably one of if not the most dangerous militaries in Star Wars, if not for their lacklustre strategic capabilities, but said strategies were poor by design.
@abraham2172 Yes, but he was never allowed to use his full potential. Coruscant could have been a battle that saw the Republic crippled. Instead, the ground battle ended up just being a costly terror attack and the CIS lost 1/3rd of its active navy because their navy sat around in orbit for no reason tl the point thart they may as well have been begging for Republic reinforcements to arrive. Coruscant was just the most overtly rigged battle of the war, but the entire CIS strategy was essentially just planned in a way that would inflict more harm upon the CIS than it would the Republic
The dsd1 dwarf spider droid will forever be my #1 favorite droid. Nothing about it can make me hate it. Its bulbous eyes to its snout canon make me so happy. The opposite can be said easily about the crab droid. Hate that thing with my whole soul
I’d say the Confederacy’s vehicles and droids had great potential but they never improved or enhanced the designs as the war progressed which is why they eventually fell short towards the ever changing Republic tactics
The same reason you don't put battleship artillery on a tank. That's a heavy energy requirement to fire off a TL and tanks might not have that level of power generation to reliably fire a TL tank.
They have. The SPHA and AT-M6 both have full on turbolasers. They are enormously large and powerful vehicles. The AV-7 and J-1 Proton Cannon also feature the same medium artillery found on Venators and the Providence. Generally, you end up sacrificing armor and/or mobility to equip this kind of firepower.

The AV-7 and J-1 Proton both seem like midway points between blaster cannons and turbolasers. I'm sure they could fit a light turbolaser onto a walker like the AT-TE.
@@mill2712 Like turbolasers, there's more than one cannon used by warships. A tank obviously couldn't handle the 16" cannon on a Missouri class battleship, but it could handle the 5" cannon of an Arleigh Burke class destroyer. There's light turbolasers that vehicles like the AT-TE could handle.
Why does the DDT even exist? Would be far more practical to make the defoliator ammo of the same caliber as the HAG or the HAG-M guns and use those. That's what standardized calibers are for.
The CIS was a wealthy organization while the Republic was sunked in the bureaucratic processes able to get things going, the CIS council was able to expand the conflict even more and recruit the aid of many allies, including technocrats just by asking, via rethoric or simply paid. The impeding doom that awaited the Jedi Order occurred the day the Separatist Crisis began.

Because turbo lasers are HUGE. Their fire power is enormous and would likely be an overkill in most situations.
