    Goddamn my guy, I`ve been struggling for almost 2 years on online classes to get my audio of Amplitube to be played during my classes.
    I`ve always used my audio monitors as output and my camera mic (yes, very shitty) to capture the sound. It sounded horrible. Now, with ur 2 videos, I got to get my guitar sound on Amplitube to go directly to Skype.
    I can`t express how grateful I am, so thank you very much!

    After spending hours of time trying to figure out what was going wrong, I stumbled upon a post (which I am not able to find again) that provided the final solution.
    I am posting this comment here because in the process of finding a solution I ended up on this video several times.
    The flow:
    GUITAR/Mic to Audio interface to my DAW(Ableton) to VST Plugin restream Audio to OBS (Audio input capture) then to Virtual Audio Cabel (Output monitoring) to chrome browser or any other app where you want to stream your audio finally
    I could see audio signals at each level even in the control panel input of Virtual cable but still no audio was getting recorded/streamed on chrome/other apps.
    The solution was to change the Sample rate to 7168 in Virtual Audio cable control panel and then reboot the pc

    • @AdilConstantineMusic

      Sounds like there is a cpu load. Check the buffer size, the lower buffer size the higher CPU power needed so raise it a bit, as much as you can without hearing latency

    • @granthaas7673
      @granthaas7673 3 года назад

      could also be the noise cancellation in discord that causes the choppiness. Im not quite sure if theres a way to fix that but it definitely could be the problem

      Using Zoom I'm getting the same choppiness when I do the test mic option. I've done a quick recording in OBS and that's picking up the audio from the DAW perfectly.
      Zoom is getting the audio over Virtual Cable, so this is working, but I can't see what's causing the issue.
      Is there a setting in virtual cable I need to change? My system is brand new, CPU is Ryzan 3600 (will get 5600x this week hopefully) so I hope that's not a bottleneck.

    Thank you for the guide, it worked perfect for me. I wanna ask some help, hopefully you see this comment and we solve it so other people can benefit. We wanna work on ableton online with my friend, when we apply these settings, he can hear my ableton audio flawlessly from discord, but i cannot hear his ableton audio. I can hear some voices when he plays his live set but it is impossible to define what is playing, feels like there is a huge cpu load or extreme noise cancellation on his output, only thing i hear is crackling noises. Seems like there is a problem when OBS is sending audio to Discord, or Discord trying to capture VirtualAudioCable.
    * We tried discord/zoom/skype
    * We made sure that both of our internet connections are stable and has enough up/download speeds
    * We have the same audio settings for ableton and OBS Studio, only difference is buffer size (mine: 288samples, his:128)
    * We made it sure that there is no noise cancellation or auto input sensitivity or etc. set in discord.
    * Both PC's are high-end
    * We made it sure that ableton can stream into OBS (plug in interface and "DAW" channel displays properly when live set is played)
    * We tried changing the values for gain filters
    * We added inbound and outbound rules in windows defender for OBS Studio
    * We made sure that his drivers and windows are up to date and working properly
    * All software & Audio Card are set in 44.100khz (don't know if there is an option to set virtual audio cable)
    I hope there is a solution for the situation. Thank you again for your video!

    Hey man, it worked wonderfully for my guitar, thanks!
    However, I have one annoying issue here.
    - From my soundcard (focusrite), I have 2 inputs: one for my condenser mic and one for my guitar
    - Both of them are routed to Ableton Live, one track for mic (no filter/effect), one for guitar (using Neural DSP plugin as the simulated amp).
    - If I choose to broadcast only one (either mic or guitar), it worked great. Even it could pick up my guitar sounds with effects from the plugin
    - However, if I choose to broadcast both of them, the audio starts cracking/clipping really hard, to the point it sounded just like buzz or cracks instead of a human voice/guitar sound.
    Do you have any tips to broadcast multi-track/multi-input using Reastream into OBS, while keeping both sounds audible?
    Many thanks!

    • @AdilConstantineMusic
      @AdilConstantineMusic  Год назад

      Instead of doing one Reastream plugin on master, you can use Reastream plugin on Mic track and another on Guitar track and name each instance separately. In OBS instead of one Audio Input Device for Ableton. Make one for each, and see if that helps separating the audio signal so its not all jammed into one

    I have a Scarlett 4i4 3rd Gen. is there a way I can stream my DAW in discord by having my primary audio device in FL Studio set to Focusrite ASIO? Reason why I want that is because It has low latency with my audio interface. Setting my primary driver in my DAW to FL Studio Asio I have to raise the sample rate to 96k to have the buffer size at 128 which is fine to me and I can stream audio with that. But it puts more pressure on my CPU with all the plugins I load. I've set this up the way you have it, but my voice is still doubling because I have it armed and monitored on a track in Ableton. I also applied the double gain filters set to -30db.
    Basically I'm trying to do a live performance with one vocal track & guitar, with my vocal track 'mixed'. But since OBS is picking up the DAW audio and also Ableton is monitoring a live playback (OBS only picks up audio if the tracks are monitored in the DAW), I'm hearing double of my voice /: I hope that makes sense! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

      The monitoring in Ableton doesn’t need to be on in order for the audio to make it to OBS. In order for audio to go from OBS to Discord or Zoom the track needs to be in Output & Monitoring. So turn off monitoring in Ableton and just use the monitoring in OBS

    Having issues? I might have a fix:
    If you are monitoring sound in discord maybe you hear your voice but don't hear your daw but you are getting a signal in OBS:
    Make sure to turn off all sound suppression for your discord input that you had on your mic. Get rid of all of it and if your mic is too hot just put a noise gate on your mic in OBS.(make sure you are putting the noise gate on your mic channel and not your daw)
    Make sure in your daw you are not monitoring any plugins this most likely will cause a feedback loop.
    If you are running a guitar on any other instruments as a line in into your interface and a mic and you are going to run your guitar through a plug in like an amp sim but you are getting your di(or dry) input of the guitar in the mix:
    You can leave monitoring on for that channel your guitar is on just go to OBS and make sure you go to advanced audio properties and pan the audio balance on the channel in OBS that your mic is on. For instance if you have your mic in the left mono and your guitar in right mono but you don't want to hear your dry guitar sound just pan the audio all the way left and your problems will be solved. If you are still getting sound make sure you aren't monitoring your inputs in windows sound control panel. Hopefully this helps somebody out there lol

    This didnt work for me =(. i am trying to route audio from ableton to discord while having my focusrite play the audio and take input from my mic. the only way i have had the audio come through the stream in discord is to switch ableton to the orginal driver mme/directx. but then the audio comes through my speakers instead of my headphones. that gives me latency then i cant play along to the song while sharing it in disocrd.... perhaps im doing something wrong. ill keep trying it.

    Hey, I'm having an issue with poor low-end and overall sound quality when using the virtual cable as input into discord or zoom. I've checked the sound quality of the virtual cable output in Windows settings and confirmed that the VC output is 100% original quality. So, somewhere being passed from the cable -> another application, I get a significant quality drop. I've matched as many bitrates as I could find in my Focusrite control panel, OBS and virtual device control panel, but havent touched any buffer sizes (Couldnt find them). Anyone know what could be up?

    For voice, this method was what i came up with as well. Although, in Discord, regardless of all the default refinement settings that we get to manually turn off, the direct audio input will always be filtered in a way that will cut musical instruments (and any delay/reverb effect) off. For an instance, a continuous strum on a guitar wont ring for more than 1-2sec since its recognized as a 'noise', even with all those noise, echo cancellation stuff turned down. It wont happen if you screenshare or stream with internal audio capture.
    Or, am i missing something? Can we actually shut down all the processing stuff inbuilt to discord? Sort of like enabling the 'original sound' option in zoom?
    Any other tips?

    Although the latencies for the whole thing are really, really big. I takes like 500ms for the sound of my keyboard to get to the person I'm speaking with. I think it's the VBCables fault, OBS latency is almost non-existent. Did anyone encounter this sort of problem and maybe come up with some kind of a solution? Thanks in advance!!

      I know your comment is over 1 year old, but maybe you can check what bit depth and frequency the virtual audio cable is put on in windows sound settings. It is capable of more than necessary, maybe it reduces latency if you put it down to 24bit 44.1khz or 16bit 44.1khz.

    I don't get it, how does the virtual cable know to route input from the microphone to the cable?
    I've downloaded VB Audio and OBS but can't figure that part out. I'm just looking to route my microphone input from my Scarlett 2i2 into discord without the 3-6 second delay I'm getting currently. Edit: I've figured that out. You need to change the Monitoring Device in OBS settings to the virtual cable.

      Make sure to check your levels in DAW and OBS make sure nothing is clipping (in the red) and also make sure the sample rate and buffer size is the same across DAW, OBS and Virtual Audio and your PC can handle it.
