    Great video - super well done. I've ridden most of those roads, so that was a nice way to spend a few minutes on a cold winter's day. Great musical choices as well - especially appreciated the Talk Talk cover by Placebo. Looking forward to more videos Cory! Cheers.

    Well after 27 years of riding the Alps and 2023 being my last year of doing so, I'll start riding more of our non-technical roads in North America. Now to find some roads with some curves here.

    I'm pretty sure that first stop, which says "Grass Lake" on the video is Lake Kashagawigamog. It looks like you were staying at Bonnie View.

      There’s a sign beside the lake when we stopped that said grass lake… there’s a bunch of different lakes in that cluster. Thx

      @@coryatkinsmoto Yes, Grass Lake is at the north end of Kashagawigamog, and is very small. Where you are is north Kashagawigamog. The other lakes are Head Lake (where Haliburton is), Sawyers, and Canning. Anyways, great video.

    The location is O.K., soundtrack is good, camera is perfect, but I think, that the main reason, why you have so few views in 2020 comparing to your clip from 2019 is, that you changed Anastasia for Rodrigo...it was huge mistake dear Cory...🙈😜🤟

    Hi, just bump into your channels, did you guys bought your bike in europe and leave it there or did you guys rent? where in europe where guys are based, just curious, been thinking the Central Asian trips but might stay around europe first

    • @coryatkinsmoto
      @coryatkinsmoto  3 года назад

      mke8Pinoy we rented in Europe... a few years out of Zurich and then Munich. If you plan to stay longer than two weeks then it makes sense to ship your bike… We are from Canada and the shipping fees are just as much as renting for 10 days

      @@coryatkinsmoto thank you for the quick reply. I'm in Lincoln, California about an hour from Sacramento. Yes, I plan to stay about 3 months, been thinking in Spain as my base (bec of cost). Have you heard anybody that did the ship back and forth to North America? I heard from someone, his base in the Vancouver area, that Air Canada will ship as oppose to bringing my bike in New Jersey for a cargo ship haul to Germany, that price is almost comparable, I just thought Id mentioned that. How many time you guys have done the Europe/Alps ride, did you guys plan your own trip and accommodations ? What's the best months to ride the alps? Thank you again for the great vids, it helps us to gain confidence.

    • @coryatkinsmoto
      @coryatkinsmoto  3 года назад

      mke8Pinoy we have been 6 different times and we planned each and every time. Best biking roads.com is a great resource for routes , etc. The earliest we went was May 30 and the latest was mid September. If you saw my video from June 2019 there is snow in some of the scenes and it was chilly in a few areas. Spain is a great area to explore, haven’t done it yet but the Pyrenees mountains are on my list! I do know Air Canada has a good motorcycle shipping service... we have looked into it and are considering using them in the future. My friends and I have talked about a trip where we ship and ride around Europe for 4-5 weeks . Hopefully in the next few years

      @@roz6573 yes either Aether or Revit are the better brands for riding. We’ve tried a few but those seem to be the best for quality, practicality and style. Aether is harder to find in Canada
