I think the biggest tip i can give you is to know how far or how many hours you can comfortably ride before fatigue sets in. Study your planned route and take note of gas stations along the way. We never had any issues finding gas stations, though we did carry a spare tank of gas just in case. Have an itinerary, meaning mark your eta on fuel, rest stops , as well as your final destination of each day. Check your bikes before you start each day , oil , gas, tires, etc. Oh and intercoms really were invaluable for our trip , one of us took a wrong exit one day . The intercom helped big time that day. Hope this helps. It is an amazing ride ahead if you ! Enjoy it!
Nice video. Oh Canada. The most beautiful place in the world. Newfoundland to Vancouver Island. do it before it's to late. Don't forget the North, stunning
Nice Video. Oh Canada.... Newfoundland to Vancouver Island. It doesn't get better. Don't forget the North, stunning. If you do go, factor in a ferry ride from Port Hardy to Prince Rupert. Be prepared to be amazed.
Wow! Thanks for sharing your excellent adventure and for not filling it with mindless music! Enjoyed listening to the sound of your exhausts.... I keep saying I've got to travel from ON to BC or ON to NL on my V-Strom. Gotta quit talking and just do it!
MORE People need to see this Video.! I have NEVER seen a Grizzle Bear sitting in puddle up to his neck in water before on Video. Not even on National Geographic. This has to be a very Rare Footage to capture. Thanks for feature so much of Alberta in your cross country MotoVid Folks. I'd really like to share two Motorcycle related things with you Both when you message me back. (smiles)
I’m doing some youtube “research” on this - I want to do this trip with my wife as well... Ottawa - Van... do you have any tips?, or watch out for.... were there enough gas stations in between?

Definitely a ride I would love to do. I used to live in Alberta but didn't ride a motorcycle until I moved away. It is most definitely on the bucket list!
No, no no no. You have to see the endless sea of grass blowing on the plains and a lightning storm in big sky Saskatchewan. No less breathtaking than the Rockies
Awesome video.....pls share your route details, tips, suggestions which may be helpful for others
