  • In a recent judgment, the Supreme Court held that disability benchmarks cannot be the sole ground for denying admission to differently-abled individuals in higher educational institutions. This decision opens new opportunities for disabled students, as they will now be evaluated based on their abilities rather than solely on disability criteria.
