  • Running my custom painted USA Trains g-scale SP GP9's and reefer block plus my new black widow F7's and mixed freight on my double-tracked garden railroad. Also featured at the end is some night running with my LGB Amtrak consist and ATSF 470, my first g-scale locomotive I acquired in January 2008.

Wonderful your work. But where can you buy these wonderful trains?

You can buy them online at Charles Ro Supply and Trainworld, or at your local brick-and-mortar hobby shop depending on if they carry USA Trains or LGB products. However, it should be noted that some of the train paint schemes shown in this video are custom painted or limited production paint schemes that are hard to find on the used market.

Did USA trains make the black and red livery on the lead gp9 or was it custom painted?

@@theventuracountyrailfan No, the black and orange SP Halloween scheme is a custom paint job I did. In 1957, SP briefly tested out the Halloween paint scheme on a handful of units in an effort to save on paint which led to the development of the scarlet and gray Bloody Nose scheme.
