  • Together with a friend, we attended the two-day G1MRA GTG at Adam H in Kent. The truly huge layout is always a treat for keen Gauge 1 Livesteamers like us two. The constant switching between the upper circle and the loop around the lake means a lot of walking until your feet hurt. The 1 in 100 gradient in between makes the locomotives bark beautifully. It's a shame that it takes a whole day to get there, otherwise we would be there much more often.
Thank you so much Adam for making it possible for us to ride on this fantastic track.

You're welcome. I'm glad you like the video. I can’t recall the owner of the Spam Can pulling 12 coaches. The Spam Can which can be seen from 02:15 is a coal fired one, made by John Barrett (not an Aster). Ian T was running it very competently. I only ran the King Arthur that weekend.

@@LiveSteamFreak Thanks very much for your reply, I eagerly await some detail regarding your pop valve design, it appears to be a masterful advance. Regards Paul; Gough.
