I must be the luckiest man in the gym because I came across your channel. I subsriceb instantly because of your teachings, you make the excercise more Productive and Also safter for the joints. I have had some pain in knees, hips but mostly in wrists ans shoulders and whats fantastic here is that you teach exactly what I want and need, and Also I learn so much mechanics. Please never stop posting dr. I will follow you to the Edge of the world. Thanks so much! Extremely helpfull!
Thank you! I injured both rotator cuffs three weeks apart while performing pullups and variations of pullups. I think i injured them while fully extended . I have taken 6 weeks off because I couldnt lift without intense shoulder pain
I broke my neck in Sept. 2020, fracturing C1,C2, and C3, Surgically repaired with 2 rods and 4 screws. As of 3/30/24 it has not fused. My Neurosurgeon gave me permission 3 years ago to get back to heavy lifting (heavy resistance bands). Would this program be appropriate for me and would I qualify for your study?
I had rotator cuff tear n big impingement problems… it took close to 9 months till 90% recovery. I neglected it at first n it became worse… dont be stubborn n treat it as “normal” n still go heavy. Not worth it.
For the love of God, please do a series on abs, upper, lower, lateral. And how to properly eat to get rid of the fat that hide them! Much appreciated, Doc!
I'll add that to my to-do list! Feel free to also use the feedback / request form I put in the video description for that and any other content you'd like to see - it'll help push it up my priority list, and I can notify you when the content you requested is available 👍
Dr Gains, how familiar are you with either si-joint or piriformis pain? I've been dealing with it for years and I swear I cannot determine the actual mechanical cause, even after speaking with doctors and getting MRIs (which show no structural issues). Really limits my deadlift/Squat gains and I'm desperate to fix it
Dr. Gains, I have a torn infraspinatus according to MRI results. Ortho says need surgery to repair. Recovery is 6 weeks in sling and 3 months before I can lift arm again. Can't take time off work to have the surgery and recovery time. Will this program work for me? I'm a bodybuilder also and have a contest coming up in 6 weeks. I live with severe pain 24/7. Keeps me up at night. Can't get any good sleep. Thanks for your time.
This program is exactly what you need. It's precisely for people in your position that I developed it! Of course, there are some situations in which surgery is simply unavoidable.. but I was told the same thing by my ortho and used the platform, techniques, principles, etc. in this program to get back to full range of motion and being able to build every region of every muscle in my body the way I wanted to pain-free, without surgery. Shoot me an email if you have any questions - michael.kamalu@dr-gains.com 👊
Michael Kamalu is not a doctor. He dropped out of med school to focus on business. Additionally, he doesn't have expertise to recommend exercises for individuals with specific conditions - especially those he hasn't assessed individually. Is he an orthopedist? Is he a physical therapist? Is he a kinesiologist? Is he even a personal trainer? What formal training does he have in exercise science? It's obvious to me that he hasn't studied it formally in an academic setting. Anyone can make claim that the exercise program they made to profit from will work for you, but very few have the qualifications and experience to make good on that claim. Would a true expert even make that claim?
Hi Dr Gains! I’m a massage therapist/personal trainer, and I’m wondering if I can apply this course to CEU’s for NASM certification renewal??? Or CEUs in general? I appreciate all of your content and I really want to take this course….thank you! Jayme Vogl
Hey doc, I have erbs palsy in the left arm from birth trauma and was wondering if there were any work arounds to exercises that particularly work the rear deltoid, upper back muscles, and brachioradialis. Thanks 😊
Hello my friend - I have multiple videos on each of those muscles if you look through my channel. If you'd like me to do a video specifically on Erb's Palsy in the future, feel free to use the feedback / request form I put in the video description! It'll put it on my to-do list, and I can notify you when the content you requested is available 👍
If you do lat raises the way that most people do.. then you'll actually only aggravate the condition and increase the risk of re-injury. Particularly if you're using heavy weight. There are dozens of modifications and variations in this program that will change that!

Agreed. They'll only get worse. You should also seriously consider this program though if you want that last 10% back! 👊
There's a bit of an overlap on the audio at 3:40.

I've had 2 rotator cuff surgeries the best advice I can give is workout your shoulders to make them stronger lat raises all day
If you do lat raises the way that most people do.. then you'll actually only aggravate the condition and increase the risk of re-injury. Particularly if you're using heavy weight. There are dozens of modifications and variations in this program that will change that!
@@DrGains I don't go heavy so not a problem for me you can't just never work the shoulders or they'll just stay weak and keep getting injured
Sorry Dr gains, I thought you will upload remaining last video on forearms. anyway waiting.....
It's coming. I haven't had a chance to film the exercise for it yet. Won't be too much longer though.
