    I was SO excited when I saw this launch! I LOVVEEEE Peach and Lily- and I’ve been using the Ordinary copper peptides serum for over a year consistently now! I believe it is the PH that can denature peptides- but copper peptides are even more tricky. I know you can’t exfoliate in the same routine, and for the same reason, I don’t always pair them with my retinal….. so I usually alternate nights of copper peptides and retinal. (1 night a week I exfoliate, and one MORNING a week, I exfoliate,😅 so it doesn’t impact my night routine!) yes- I am that person that uses lactic acid in the AM and follows it with vitamin C, and somehow doesn’t get irritated- but if I use the wrong moisturizer, I’m in trouble 😂

      I'm with you- copper peptides are fussy but I've found them to be beneficial enough to fit it into my routine and I think it was worth the hassle because the soothing and anti-aging benefits are real!

    I’ve been on the fence about this one since I saw it came out. I know with some peptides if it’s encapsulated in a lactic/glycolic copolymer shell then it’s completely fine to use it with anything even certain acids. I am more interested in Niche beauty labs Theramid copper peptide. That one is 2 or 3% and the same price but it’s sold out. This p&l one is .02% with no targeted delivery system like something such as medik8 liquid peptide which doesn’t look very exciting but it’s actually fantastically formulated because of that copolymer shell and delivery system. I may still try it. I wondering this has about the same % of CP as Biossance which is way less exciting because that’s the only peptide in it. The ordinary is 1% which is way more than peach and Lilly’s but then again there aren’t any studies on % for effectiveness so it could still be pretty effective even at .02%

    Do you think this is a good starter copper peptide serum? I am looking to add this into my routine now and have always heard about it being reactive for some people and a really finicky ingredient. I’ve upped my Tret usage to 5 nights a week so I’m wondering if it’s worth purchasing for the price if I’m only going to be reaching for it a minimal amount of days. Also super scared of flaring up my skin, so again is this a starter one do you think or should I just go with the tried and true Ordinary copper serum. Thanks for your advice!

    • @NOBSBeauty

      I copied this from my response above: The Needleless Serum has a lot of good ingredients, the P&L does as well. The DRMTLGY Serum is very watery while the P&L has more of a gel-ish texture. Both are fragrance free which is nice. The price is also comparable. From comparing the ingredients list the P&L has a few more peptides as well as copper peptides while the DRMTLGY serum seems to focus more on hydrating ingredients. I would say if anti-aging is your main concern the P&L is the way to go, if hydrating and barrier repair is your main concern stay with the DRMTLGY serum. I'll have to do a versus of the two!

    • @NOBSBeauty
      @NOBSBeauty  Год назад

      From my research copper peptides and peptides in general can have the bonds that hold them together if you apply them right before or after a product that has a low pH. Exfoliant and ascorbic acid typically have a very low pH which is why it might not be beneficial to apply peptides along with exfoliants. Although most research on this is very new and not conclusive.

      @janesmitson7404 Год назад
