My Ford Fusion has the same problem. The issue is inside the dash, in the knob that is used to set the temperature. The fix is to replace the "Dorman A/C Control Module 599-228". But you can't buy a new one. The only one you can buy is likely to experience the same issue soon.
Mine it has almost same problem when i switch to heat takes time to work same in ac , did yours had same problem? I’m gonna do it like you said hopefully it works out . Thank you for your comment and happy new year
Thank you for laying out the symptoms at the beginning of the video. My wife's car wasn't putting out any heat, so of course I start looking at the thermostat and the heater components. Turns out, the car had the same problems as this one did! Popped off that bad actuator and turned the door by hand, and bam! We've got heat again!
My 2012 fusion was leaking antifreeze inside the passenger side, I bypassed the heater core hoses in the front under the hood. I know I don't have heater anymore but the leak stopped. Is the heater core needs to be replaced, 2012 Ford fusion SE 2.5

How you did that ? Having the same problem
Excellent, thanks
What size bolts are in the acuator? I tried everyone one I got
Edit: nvm found out that its 5.5mm had to break out the old craftsman toolbox 😂
What is this part called?
Ac blows fine no heat
Did you figure out the problem
@ no
I had both actuators replaced and still no heat
Go to the local junk yard and get the actual dials (knobs) from the center console.
