- Dr G’s Caesar Dressing
1 cup raw almonds (or use 1 large avocado if you are on a disease-reversal program)
1 cup water (or more as needed)
3 Tb lemon juice
3TB Braggs aminos (or soy sauce)
1-2Tb Dijon mustard
¼ cup nutritional yeast (optional didn’t use it this time)
Blend and serve. Will thicken up so you might need more water if you use it the next day.
For this recipe I massaged it into raw kale and served it up as a salad. It is so delicious your brain won’t even know you are eating kale!

I have been waiting for the doctor to show food or recipe ideas that are not smoothies for a long time! We need more videos like this for variety and to have an idea what we can eat besides smoothies and or just a piece of fruit or a vegetable. Good video.
I agree 💯. I want to know what was in the bowl on the table.
yes! or can we be directed to recipe blogs/channels that promote a similar way of eating?
Yes I TOTALLY agree!!!! Can’t wait until her Healing Foods book comes out!!!! I wish she would share more videos with tips on other foods to eat!!! Thank you for this video Dr. G!!!!
Yea i agree totally
Plant Based Love channel is making raw vegan meals. You would just need to make some minor adjustments depending on why you’re eating this way. If it’s weight loss or just to eat healthy you don’t need to adjust anything. They also tell you how to adjust their meals to suit family members that are WFPB but not fully raw.
Thank you Dr. G!!!!!!! PLEEEEEEEASE make more videos of foods and recipes to eat!!! It really helps those of us that are new to this vegan lifestyle…… there’s many videos out in RUclips land but I want to learn how to do it the right way to stay healthy!!!!!! Love all your content!!!
Ditto, ditto, totally ditto. Thanks so much!
This recipe is delicious. It makes the kale nice and tender.
Topped with red apple chunks and walnuts or pecans would taste like heaven I’m sure!
Made this meal for lunch today with fresh kale from my garden...absolutely delicious 😋
I can see why it's a favourite with your family. Thanks so much for taking the time to share this recipe idea🦋
I am going to try it tomorrow. I have to soak the almond
This looks delicious Dr. G! I do something very similar but instead of almonds I mash avocado (usually 1.5) & it is SO creamy good:) I definitely am going to try your almond one though:)
Thanks for this great recipe for a tasty dressing. AND thanks for using easier ingredients without judgement. I always use bottled lemon juice and garlic from a jar for various reasons and they work great!
Thank You for sharing. The part where you are feeding the boys is just so cute. It reminds me of a mamma bird feeding baby birds. 🐦
Just made this without Nooch…. It’s flipping amazing! Been needing a ceaser dressing that’s like store bought and this is it!!! Thx for it
This is absolutely delicious. Thanks Dr. G for all that you do.
I just made this tonight and lemme tell you. It’s SO good and so simple and makes a decent amount. I just put it over a regular salad but it has such good flavor. Thank you for sharing!
Your sons are just precious!
This is truly yummy dressing
have it on hand all the time 👍❤️
Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge. And above all, for giving hope and health back to so many people who suffer immensely from various autoimmune disease 💕
I love the massaging-kale-nod. 😁 love it. Thank you! ❤
Thank you for sharing. That looks amazingly delicious.
I love you Dr. G and you are my inspiration. Thank you for everything you do!!
This is delicious, plain and simple! Will definitely make many many more times.
Omggg, I just made it and it’s so delicious! 😍 Now I just wish I stuck to half the recipe cuz not sure I’ll use it all up within the week as it’s only me who’ll be using it 🙈 But we’ll see! 🤞🏽
This dressing is fantastic!! Thank you so much for sharing it with all of us 😊
You are such an inspiration. Thank you.
I like to add spiced roasted chickpeas!
Just made this. Really good!
Can't wait to try. Thank you!!!
Looks delicious, plan to make dressing asap! Thank you for sharing Dr. G. 11/12/22🙏❤️
Just made this and it’s delicious!
Also, if you don't soak the almonds, an alternative would be the equivalent amount of almond butter that is organic with no additives. BTW, I need onions on my salad 🥗
Looks so yummy!
I love you ❤ thank you
May I use another type of nut besides almonds? Thank you.
She also uses a lot of cashews as a base for the dressings.
What is that soup or bowl of carmel-y brown on the table? Looks good too
What do you care!!!!
@@beautymariely you ok? I asked because I wanted some. That’s how you get recipes.
Your comment came across as weirdly defensive and aggressive. The way I took it is better suited for a question like “when was the last time you ate beautymariely?” or “can you take some deep calming breathes beautymariely?”
I have never been asked what do I care when asking about a dish of food being displayed in a recipe video before, but I am not sure how many other ways I could have answered you. I hope you get a good meal, a nap, and some fun in your life soon.
Delicious 😋
How do you find that much Kale????
Both my rheumatologist and functional medicine doctor said no nuts for autoimmune so I'm confused on using almonds?? (They believe I have Sjogrens/connective tissue disease.) I also have GERD so no garlic and no lemon juice :( but I can use lemon zest...
This recipe is for people who have already healed or who are hypernourishing. If you are still healing you can use avocado in place of the almonds. Maybe you could use apple cider vinegar instead of lemon too and just skip the garlic, OR use other herbs that you like? I guess she didn't make it very clear in the video but she talks about it in the Q&As and in the Facebook group.
@@flattlandermontgomery1524 Can't use apple cider vinegar because of GERD but I'll find a substitute.
@@macobats Well, I hope that you are able to heal or get relief from your symptoms!! I am part of the Facebook group, it's great for support and asking questions. Good luck!!
Use an Avocado instead ... if you can.
Can you eat this on the protocol ? Anyone ?
I thought that people with lupus are not supposed to use garlic . I flare really badly whenever I have garlic I’m very confused about it .
How long does the dressing last in Frig? I will be the only one eating it probably.
Anything you make usually is good/safe for 3-4 days in the fridge max.... whether it's dressing or other meals or leftovers....if you can't eat something within that time frame, freezing the leftovers is the next best thing.... except a salad obviously 😊
Cook book??
Having high cholesterol...may I still use this? (Due to fats in almonds)
😊
Thank you for sharing your recipe! Looks good.
Where do you purchase gallon size aminos?
She said sprouts
Does it taste similar to Cesar? Also could I use tahini instead of almonds?
Will dried greens work
Do i need to soak the almonds with a nutri bullet?
I thought garlic is one you to avoid if you have lupus pls enlighten me
This recipe is for anyone & we leave out what we cannot eat.
Doc, your written recipe doesn’t say garlic
She says no processed foods but Dijon mustard?
Kale, almonds, all of it🤢. YOUWANT to eat like this, fine but your kids?????????
What's wrong with these? Weirdo!!!! :(
