i love ray steven’s songs that have to do with the government and politics. theyre so funny. no matter what political party ur from u can still laugh at them. ditto with his songs with religious jokes too. i’m a christian (and so is ray) but i love mississippi squirrel revival and i’m not offended by it.

I was introduced to Mr. Ray Stevens as a kid. The ONLY songs I knew about were, The Mississippi Squirrel Revival, & The Streak. One day while scrolling through Y.T., I stumbled upon another song. That one lead to another one, & so on & so on. I LOVE this man's sense of humor that he displays in his humorous songs!
We caught Ray's show at CabaRay in Nashville last year. He is as funny on stage as in the videos. What a wonderful evening! He must be about as old as I am, and still going strong. Hope to get back again soon.
