I'd say the cars were handled a little roughly, and some padding of some sort would do the cars liberty, but other than that, the concept is a pretty ingenious packaging strategy.
Looks good to me. Other then there should be a lock down device on the structure to the floor of the container. The metal ramps are disposable or the metal ramps are built to be modular. i.e. they can be taken apart and broken down after a full shipment of cars is made, and all the ramps will fit in one container to be sent back to the manufacturer.
Who are these guys? I actually have 2 cars I need shipped and I need to know who they are so that I DO NOT use them. The cars collided with each other on several occasions Just because some company needs to squeeze as many cars as possible into a container does not give them the right to damage or destroy clients cars.
there Needs to be some tracks on the ceiling as well as the floor of the trailer which would easier for loading as well as harder for it move during Transit and virtually impossible to hit any portion of the inside of the trailer during loading and unloading
I think you’re referring to the cheesy music often used in various 80s videos. The video quality was the standard until tech advances of the last 10 years.
Ha the top of the windshield on the upper car just clears the roof. What happens when the truck goes over rough roads and the car springs up into the roof of the trailer? Oh and isn't it dangerous to load when not attached to a tractor?
Grant N. not on that style of trailer due to locked brakes and the axles being at the back of the trailer. many large warehouses use the same practice.
I wouldn't like to be the driver of the white car going up that ramp onto such a narrow and flimsy structure? They don't show how the drivers get out of the top tier cars- do they leave them in the cars during the journey?¨ Presumably they need the special ramps at loading and destination locations? Are these racks approved by Lloyds or some other recognised body? How do they return all the racks back to the point of origin, or are they considered disposable? The positioning of the racks has to be perfectly straight and precise (as does the positioning of the upper cars because the fork lift driver could easily scrape the car roof on the rear header of the container) because the platforms can catch on the inside corrugations of the container and damage the panels.
You sure can tell which commenters here have a clue and which don't. The clueless ones see things that aren't there and leap to wrong conclusions based on nothing more than assumptions.
The first top stow C class hits the container roof whilst pushing in. Wtf?! Beyond, I do not regard these structures as seaworthy. Not even regarding handling the container roughly by reach stacker or forklift.. Those tiny stanchions would collapse in an instance.
Exige000 Hi- Actually the system that we represent at www.leightonroadinc.com is the Trans Rak system. But this is a completely different approach to the method shown in the video here. Please look at our site to get all details.

Thanks, with the help of this video I just loaded all my cars into some containers!
How? you need their exact same ramp/system to do so: where did you get it then?

Gatta love safety sally instructional videos. Lovin them clean coveralls lol
the third mercedes touches the second mercedes bumper when loading
That yes is logistics, care and zeal with the product of the client.

I like these kinds of corporate videos. The music, the bad quality video...all of it!! I know it's weird...

Good Job and The best forklift driver..very inspirative..
Sure, in this way there would be lots of scratches, broken lights and body paints dents after
That’s why shipping in a container causes many scratches
I wouldnt trust these guys with me car..
What is left off the cars after shipping?
Still it looks risky for car damage..

It sure looked like they bumped two cars against each other. With an overzealous trucker that raised car is going to hit.

Amazing,good job
Pretty cool!
Amazing.
Not really- there are far better systems than that Heath Robinson affair.
Wrong way to do it. Too shabby work
then what is the right way to to it?
@@djozzdraper lol ikr!
No strapping of frames in container? I wonder what side to side movements the lifted cars do during the journey if not properly strapped to the box.
+chvella The frames look like they fill the container wall to wall. No room for movements, no need for strapping.
Is this should post to be some joke?
How do they unload?

Watch the video to the end and you wouldn't have to ask that question.
this is a 20 feet container ... what about the insurance, will it cover this kind of loading?
Shams it is a 40 feet container
If you don't want insurance and are nuts go of this type of shipping ... the rail will refuse it.

Luis I am interested in this service. What company are you with? My customers can benefit from this service.

Exige000 Hi- Actually the system that we represent at www.leightonroadinc.com is the Trans Rak system. But this is a completely different approach to the method shown in the video here. Please look at our site to get all details.
