Switzerland is the worst, if you drive a high end car. One group heard about this, and was stopped every 5 miles. 5 over or even 1 over, huge fines. Once pulled they even checked road cameras for previous speeding. They tracked one guy to his hotel, gave him a ticket for say 10 over.......a couple hours previous. Almost want to say a few years back Ferretti AD

So a few days later I drove it to work and on the way home I had to stop for gas. There was few guys on my crew there so I rev the engine and there was a GSP on the other side of the pump and he asked me if that’s necessary.I said no but if you got a real job you could have one too.

A Friend of Mine in the late 70's had Bultaco 360 Race Bike, We had been at the Bar all night, Closing Time, last call 2am, he had the Bike in the back of his truck, we bet him he did not dare ride it through the center of town, he said your on, ( Too much to drink does something to common sense ) Unloaded it proceded to do a Cross up Wheelie through the center of town, but the police were sitting down the road watching this whole deal take place, for the next 20 min all we could hear was the bike and the police car going from one side of town to the other, then silence. we later found he had stopped and of course got arrested, Bike had quit, found out later, out of gas. Anyway when he went to court and the Judge asked him what he had to say about what he did, He said he learned never get in a high speed chase unless you have a full tank of Gas, Judge saw no humor, My friend was a bit of a 20 year old Smart Ass, Judge took away his License for a Year !

I live in Hiawasse GA . On three separate trips over or around Blood Mtn and Brasstown Bald I have witnessed fatal accidents of motorcycle operators. All that was left in all three cases was pcs of the bike and blood all over the pavement. These roads are crowded in the spring, summer and fall. It is no place for tom foolery. Its tempting. Nice drive but keep it reasonable. I drive a C4 ZR1 lightly modified that is pretty quick but always am very careful to be cautious on those roads. No guardrails either. The bikes are everywhere. So for you young bucks, keep it to a mild roar up here please and thanks.

But I finally did, the cop came to the car and was super chill. He told me I was doing 140 and told him the only way that car would get up to that speed if you dropped it from orbit. My boss calls me and says what the h***'s going on. There's 3 troopers here. I live on hwy. 348 and hear all these idiots in sports cars and loud bikes all the time...used to only be on weekends but now pretty much any time. Never fails, about 10 minutes after a big wave of them go by I hear ambulance sirens..you'd think they would learn from all the crosses erected along the side of the road. There is a straight away near my house and they drag race on it. I have lived here all my life back in the 70's-80's there were almost none of these. Since the 1990's-on, it has gotten constantly worse it is almost unbearable the noise now. I honestly don't know why the cops don't set up roadblocks on one side of the mountain and wait on them while the cops from the other side of the mountain follow them across. I really don't understand why some people would think they are entitled to drive like that on our roads just because they are on a speed bike or a sports car....people in normal vehicles would never get by like that, they pull them over for going 55 in a 45. The way some of them drive across our mountain roads they should be arrested and their cars/bikes impounded. Hey, if you like speed nothing wrong with that but do it on a track....

Piss those people driving the van off and they can take up to 364 days to get you to your destination. I know a guy who was arrested in Panama City Beach and it took him 2 weeks of riding in the van to make it to Newnan, Ga. That's a 4.5 hr trip lol

I was stuck in traffic once on the highway. The shoulder was wide open but this biker decided he didn't feel like waiting like the rest of us and wanted to get his adrenaline by zooming up the middle between cars. There wasn't enough room between my car and the truck next to me but he blew past me anyway, hit my mirror, and flipped me off as if I was in the wrong. I already didn't like bikers but that move didn't help. Thankfully my mirror flipped forward and wasn't damaged but I didn't want to pull over so I had to drive home without it being usable. I'd only had my car a few months too.

Army identifies Fort Stewart soldier suspected in high-speed McIntosh County police chase
The Army has identified a Fort Stewart soldier suspected of triggering a police chase down Interstate 95 that resulted in four McIntosh County sheriff's deputies crashing their patrol cars Saturday.
The names of the deputies were released Tuesday by the Georgia State Patrol, which is investigating the chain-reaction collision that occurred in a construction zone northwest of Darien.
Spc. James J. Williams of the 3rd Sustainment Brigade, 3rd Infantry Brigade was detained on post Tuesday as a cooperative investigation by the Army and McIntosh Sheriff's Office continued in the case.
Williams hadn't been charged with any crimes, Fort Stewart spokesman Kevin Larson said.
State troopers identified the deputies as Stephen Patton, who the ongoing accident investigation showed caused the crash. Patton was attempting to pass the other patrol cars on the right and almost ran into the back of a truck in that lane. As he attempted to get back into the left lane, Patton lost control and hit another patrol car causing it to spin and hit a retaining wall, troopers said.
The other two deputies tried to stop, but one rear-ended the other, completing the chain-reaction. Troopers identified the other three deputies as Sgt. Nicholaus Rountree, and deputies Christopher Lynn and Wilbert Cope.

Disagree, lived there for 14 years. They have a huge road network and a tiny population. The enforcement is just not there enough to prioritize much other than highway and cities. Stick to the back roads or get a radar detector and you're good.

Almost none of the bikers with racing bikes where I live have plates on their bikes. If one does, it'll be in front of the wheel where you can't see it unless you're directly behind the bike at eye level.

One of the earliest rules I learned with cars is that you always have to remember: no matter how good a driver you are, and no matter how fast your vehicle may be, you'll never outrun a Motorola.

This is one of the biggest BS claims ever. Cops generally have horrible radio discipline and often times the dispatcher and/or officers get details wrong anyway. There are several scanner apps for phones now days, you should give one a try and see how bad they are for yourself. It's almost comical sometimes. I've been listening when a BOLO went out and an officer pulled over a completely different vehicle and then basically covered his self by then saying he "thought that car was swerving lanes a little bit"...yeah ok buddy. Meanwhile the actual car he was supposed to be going after was already in the next county and never seen again.
