I hope Carbon has his database backed up in the cloud as that's some serious data archiving which I wouldn't trust on a few hard drives.

Hard drives are the preferred way for long-term data storage.
Although it's best to have multiple backups.
I use to go on F chat religiously about 15-20 years ago and remember this chap well and he was known on the site at the time for his obsession for a certain Black Enzo as well as being a top contributor to the site.
His ‘name’ was Carbon and he has a real passion for the marque

So, he has the ultimate Ferrari database. Has made lifelong friends with many people in the Ferrari sphere. Has dedicated what appears to be over a decade to this. In all this time, not one of these lifelong friends has gotten the guy in a Ferrari of his own? What does that tell you?

I love how he is saying those data numbers like they are huge. Lol a whole quarter of a terabyte.
1GB in pure text, no images, no coding, just text, is an absolutely insane amount of text, like thats roughly 700 million characters of text. (For reference, all six books the Lord of the Rings trilogy (don’t ask) contain just over 2 million letters, so probably around 2.7-3 million characters)
For a hand built data base its a lot. 100k entries hand placed & written is insane.
If that was in like a proper DB solution it'd probably be 2x the size

Ferrari expert? No, save that term for someone who can troubleshoot and fix any Ferrari, any time. This guy just has a massive database of info, which is impressive in a way, but a bit sad in other ways.
