The Zeroid Richenic cream is amazing. Of all the Korean products I have tried, I go back to this one every morning. It "communes" with my sunblock and my skin has never been this stable. I don't need to wear foundation anymore. Thank you for turning me on to this over a year ago.

I really like the Isntree onion toner! I was hesitant to try it because it doesn’t sound so appealing. It has no onion scent. It actually has no scent at all. It’s a great product. Very hydrating but not greasy. I guess onion has some healing properties for the skin:)
I have the most cutely and chronically dry skin. Winter, summer, it does not matter. Nothing I have ever used has kept my skin feeling hydrated for a long period of time until using the Zeriod cream. Thank you so much Dr dray. My dry skin was such an uncomfortable, in tolerable torture and now I feel like I have proper barrier function.

The Purito Dermide Relief Barrier Moisturizer has been great as a thicker winter moisturizer.
Love the BOJ cleansing balm! It’s so good. Also, the Good Molecules peptide serum is great. Super hydrating and inexpensive.

My favorite is the cosrx snail essence it very hydrating especially after the sensitivity when i use bha in my face now i use aha and pha to exfoliate since it more gentle

The beauty of Joseon has the best sunscreen I’ve ever used!!!! Very lightweight, no white cast, blend so well, perfect for all skin types and I’m acne to prone skin and this doesn’t give me pimples at all!!!

I’ve been getting into essence/toners this year, especially fermented ones. I haven’t met one I dislike but my favorites are Neogen Real Ferment Micro Essence and Secret Key Starting Treatment Essence. I have 53 yo dry skin and these products create a nice soothing “foundation” for my bare skin, and they are interchangeable for me. I really like Beauty of Joseon’s retinal eye cream and their sunscreen. Lastly, the Skin1004 Centella Ampoule pleasantly surprised me with its quality and price.
I’ve ordered the Neogen as well.

The Beauty of Joseon cleansing balm is so nice. I love how easily it melts and how clean it rinses even before the second cleanser. I like to use it in the morning too because I enjoy washing my face to start my day.

I received the beauty of josean body and face soap from the black Friday sale. Just started using it and love it. It lathers really well and very moisturizing. I will be repurchasing this for sure.

I honestly can say that the Beauty Of Joseon Cleansing Balm for me is my holy grail! I have purchased it 4 - 5 times since you had mentioned it at one point some time ago in your videos. It is my Fav of all of them. Not too greasy and not too hard like some others can be hard to get it into the spreadable state. It works so well in getting off makeup and sunscreen. And this is my favorite skincare routine lol. Rubbing it on my face makes me feel relaxed and I just enjoy the experience. Also, I have noticed my face (when first using it) had become so much more softer and honestly change the suppleness of my skin. It's so gentle and I just cannot live without it! I wish I did not have to order it out of my Country at times because of the shipping and tax, but honestly, it is worth it to me. It works perfect for me and I just love everything that is in it also.🤗🦄
I agree regarding the Jose on cleansing balm. It wonderful. It removes every scrap of make up and leaves my skin so hydrated and sift. I absolutely love it.

@@IgnoranceAverse as long as you use them before the expiration date on the box/tube. most unopened skincare products can last more than a year or two. but once opened, they have to be used/finished within 6 to 12 months from the first date of usage because ingredients or the efficacy can degrade over time after opening the product, exposing it to environmental factors like heat, air oxidation, etc.

Years ago , i made my own green tea toner from green tea and water. Best toner i ever used. Removed all my hyperpigmentation better than any medications . I stopped because the caffeine was causing involuntary eye movenent in one eye

I’m 45 and have only just recently been focusing on skin care (thankfully I always used moisturizers, cleansers, stayed out of the sun) I also am less-abled which basically means very little money and a huge blow to my self confidence, ego, independence. Can you please do a video on the best VERY VERY VERY budget basic items (spf, vitamin c, moisturizer, retinols) of 2022? Thanks!
Cerave, cetaphil, and vanicream are simple dermatologist approved products that are super affordable. They are fragrance free and super gentle on the skin.
I'd also check her video by doing a search, dr dray budget. There are a number of videos including some from a year ago like best moisturizers under $7 and best sunscreens under $10, best anti-aging skin care under $8, etc.

I'm obsessed with the beauty of joseon cleansing balm and the zeroid cream (although I like Eucerin's version better, also your suggestion). The boj eye cream made me really dry but I'll try it again. And who am I kidding, I'll try everything on your best of lists.

Isntree also has a great Aha Essence with glycolic and lactic at 4% each. I found it so gentle, but I've graduated from it and now use a pure glycolic acid.. 😊 But yeah, the Naturekind Urea Cream and Dr. Ceuracle Kombucha Essence are AMAZING!! 😍😍😍

The round lab sunscreen is also one of my favorite sunscreen discovery this year. It is so lightweight and felt cool on my skin. Other favorite asian beauty finds of 2022 are:
manyo factory bifida biome complex ampoule - super hydrating, and calms my sensitive, acne-prone, redness-prone skin. My skin feels comforted every time I use it.
isntree chestnut bha 2% liquid - a gentle but very effective exfoliant, makes my skin less oily and clog-free.
and
kiku masamune rice made mild cleansing oil - this is a japanese brand. Has light, silky texture with strong declogging power. The grits coming off my skin every time I massaged my face with this oil is so satisfying. My face also appears brighter after I rinsed it off.
Hi! Did the Isntree Chesnut BHA 2% Liquid purge your skin before it became better? I'm looking for a BHA product and looking into the COSRX one but people say it purged them before it healed their skin.

@url8 i tried and love freshel whitening emulsion light. It's a japanese brand. Very lightweight and feels refreshing on my skin. I live in the philippines where it's very hot and humid. The freshel emulsion is perfect given our climate. You may like it too. 😊

I like the isntree rose jelly mask and use it almost every time I shower, it’s so hydrating! Their mugwort sheet mask is also pretty good. And I’ve really been enjoying the cosrx eye patches we got in last years yesstyle advent calendar. I didn’t try any new k beauty sunscreens this year because I’ve been working through my current stash but I ordered the beauty of joseon probiotic spf and I’m excited! The only thing I hate is that shipping from yesstyle/ stylevana take forever..I’m still waiting on an order from earlier this month..

Tocobo Sun Stick is my favourite product this year. I hate reapplying spf if it is not stick version.

As for the first step of DC at night I use Clean it zero and I just adore it.
Thanks to you I tried the Isntree green tea toner and I love it. I put it in a fine mist spray bottle ( I used an empty bottle of the haruharu wonder mist), so it doesn't stain my bathroom.
The pyungyang yul intensive repair cream is my new go to!!!

Hi Dr.Dray! As a Korean subscriber I am so proud of this video😻😻 If you liked Round Lab sunscreen, please try d'Alba(K-beauty brand) Waterful Essence sunscreen. As someone who tried both, d'Alba sunscreen is less oily and is absorbed faster. It is very hydrating yet it does not wear off easily on masks. I'm through my 3rd tube now and honestly want to use it for the rest of my life😂

@@lukastemberger I personally haven't used any product from Cos De Baha, but the brand is known for products with high percentage active ingredients and affordable prices. I've seen people recommending their niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, retinol products and many more!

2023 I am going to always wear V-neck tops when inside at home; this way my chest won't miss out on skincare treaments. This area needs just as much love as the face & neck (even if you never show this part of your body)...the moisture barrier still needs to keep healthy, to avoid irritation etc. Sunscreen (& reapplication) all seasons. I still have my lightweight scarf in the car, to place around my neck & chest. Sunglasses and SPF lipbalm too (convenient to apply to the backs of the hands). Traffic jams, long car journeys are the enemy of the skin.
Women in their wiser years often say that wished they had looked after their neck & chest area much better, to avoid/lessen the chance of skin cancer, freckles, wrinkles and loss of elasticity.

Beauty of Joseon is becoming one of my favorite brands. I like their cleansing balm, but their sunscreen is the *first* I've loved enough to WANT to put it on. (I hate sunscreen - I'd basically decided, fine I'll just die young rather than smear this hideous paste on my face again - until I realized we can get beyond US-approved products)
I bought the Zeroid Richenic Cream based on your recommendation and I absolutely loved it just from using it overnight. It healed my dehydrated skin whereas the other skincare I’ve been trying for a few years never worked. I also love the formula for my oily, acne prone skin. It just sinks in so beautifully. Made my textured skin smoother and plumper too. So thank you!!

BOJ also has the best cleansing oil i’ve ever tried!
I’ve been using Vita B5 Toner but as soon as I tried my daughter’s Rovectin I knew that it would be my new toner. Vita B5 is hydrating but the Rovectin takes the hydration up a notch. I purchased the Zeroid Creme and like it but I need to be careful with ihow much I apply or it will irritate my skin. Thanks for the list Dr. Dray.

I have sensitive skin and I cannot live without I’m from mugwort essence! So soothing I’m on my 4th bottle, I also love their rice cream. Sunscreen: dear Klair relaunched their sunscreen and it’s as good as it was before!!! Love it!
I love the sunscreen but pink version. Helps my complexion to brighten up or become less dull for when I have not slept well. I am not sure what the po k version will have but I think it is because of calamine for irritation redness etc. The whit one coms in a cushion as well. I use the pink one on an empty cushion 💖

Once you get the keratosis little dry patch, which I have on my arms and some of my legs, they don’t go away, even if you moisturize them

I simply love Isntree products. I love their sunscreen and Hyaluronic Acid water gel cream and the Green Tea toner. Simple but effective products.
the boj eye retinal eye cream helped me get rid of several milia i had including a really stubborn one by my waterline. no irritation either.

Etude House sunprise Mild air finish is my favourite sunscreen. 100% Mineral based and it's great for sensitive skin. I can't use any chemical sunscreen so this is the best!

Gosh, I wish I could use products from Beauty of Joseon but my skin flared up very red and itchy by the ginseng. Luckily, it's quickly healed now I guess because of Laneige Cica Sleeping Mask. I wouldn't be without it. Makes my skin so glowy and soothing without clogging pores. The other two items I can't live with out is CosRX Clear Pad and Muji cleansing oil. I can't use any other BHAs as they're too strong. Muji's is very underrated, though it's the best makeup cleanser I've ever used.
Peach and Lily has a snail mucin that is not sticky; we’ve using it on a teen with redness from acne.
I think I will try this. I have the cosrx snail mucin and don’t reach for it often because I don’t like the stickiness. I didn’t think I could find one because of the nature of what it is! Thanks for the suggestion 😊

Can the Rovectin be used with Tretinoin? If yes, before or after?
I will have to try the Rovectin lotion for the winter. I have usually used the neogen essence but I need something a little thicker for the winter.
I’ve used both toners and Rovectin is definitely the better option for cold dry winter weather.

Dr. Dray, have you heard of the Numbuzin no.3 growing essence toner and the no.3 skin softening serum. The toner have 50 kinds of fermented ingredients and niacinamide. The serum have galactomyces and bifida. These two apparently is a dupe for SKII essence. What do you think?
