You need a Levitical priest to kill two male lambs one year old without blemish and present a grain offering of fine flour mixed with oil, as well as a drink offering and a daily burnt sin offering to keep the ancient and abrogated Hebrew ritual law of Shabbat. You have never kept Shabbat. Penalty for disobedience is death. You are bible illiterate and a biblical fool.

You are weak and playing with elementary principles of the world. Bert and Ernie on Sesame street teach children about numbers and letters. You’re at Sesame Street level understanding. Shabbat was a shadow of the good things to come in Christ. It was never established as a universal appointed feast day for gentiles or as an everlasting celebration or law. It was temporary. You are playing a childish religious game. You are sucking milk from a bottle. The church is feasting on top sirloin. You are a child finger painting with silly Adventist cultists.

I have wondered about the so-called church fathers and wanted a good source to find out more about them. Sabbath is the remembrance of creation to honor our creator mighty God.

    • @rayray4192
      @rayray4192 6 месяцев назад

Wrong, but thanks for playing blasphemous heretic. Shabbat was established so escaped Hebrew slaves would remember their delverance from Egyptian slavery. You are bible illiterate. Jesus being creator never saved anyone.

    • @rayray4192
      @rayray4192 6 месяцев назад

Remembering creation saves no one. Moses destroyed the Sabbath command rooted in creation. It became dust on a desert floor. Shabbat was rooted in deliverance. Here’s Moses proving you are Bible illiterate. Deuteronomy 5:15: “ You shall remember you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God brought you out of there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore the Lord your God commanded you to keep the Sabbath Day.” - Moses. The first rule of Bible study is who is speaking and who is the audience. Moses was speaking to escaped Hebrew slaves. Are you hallucinating and believe you are an escaped Hebrew slave?

    • @rayray4192

Salvation is about reconciliation with God. Jesus being creator saves no one and reconciles no one. Jesus being a propitiation for sin and a deliverer saves sinners.

      @rayray4192 6 месяцев назад +1

Where in scripture is Shabbat presented as a remembrance of creation? Exodus 20: 8-11. The Deuteronomy 5:15 is clear that Shabbat was rooted in deliverance from slavery. Christians are new creations. A new covenant established by a new and better king- priest based upon better promises, and a new and better law.

@@dash81504 Genesis is not a Sabbath for man. It was Gods rest of completion in his finished works. Man did not created the heavens and earth, therefore how could Adam and Eve be a part of God's rest? God's rest had nothing to do with being tired. God does not need a rest. God was not planning to create the heaven and earth again in six days and rest again on the 7th. No instruction was given to Adam and Eve to rest neither were there any restrictions of the Sabbath or the consequences of breaking it. Why would they rest? As a matter of fact why would they be working? It was because of sin why Adam was kicked out of the Garden and work to survive. You figure while kicking them out the Garden God would say, I am going to give you one rest day. He didn't' the bible mentioned nothing of such and the writer of Genesis obviously did not see it of importance or significant because it plainly DID NOT HAPPENED. The Ten Commandments reflects sin. Yes, all of them. What sin was there for Adam and Eve to reflect when God originally made them as perfect beings? Where was Adam and Eve tablet of stone to follow? It would have made more sense if you just said, this is how it was interpreted to me by the SDA. Let me hear from another Christian why God used the the same saying in Genesis and Exodus and what was the significance of doing so rather than believing in fairy-tale that doesn't make sense and is not in the bible, why adding to the word of God. There is an explanation that links both in Genesis and Exodus that clarifies perfectly and harmoniously with the bible but unless you truly want to know then I wont explain. The chances of you exposing a Sabbath you thought you knew may be detrimental . After-all, you see Sabbath as your Christ and the fear of challenging it or even discrediting doesn't seem practical to you. It's either Christ or the Sabbath, you can't have it both ways. You cannot make the Sabbath your Christ (bondage) but you can make Christ your Sabbath ( freedom). That's the Law of Liberty my friend. You may look it up. SDA or any similar heretic teachings has nothing to offer you if you truly knew the word of God. Peace be with you.

The fact is that the majority only win in common things, not in Godly. It's obvious that there was only a minority saved from d flood, n likewise of Sodom n Gomorrah. The remnant is usually not much quantity. Is there a verse in d Bible which says: he who departs from evil makes himself a prey? While we study we may note these important aspects. God will be there for us as we deny self, n make God first. We must love Him without reserve. Hope, faith, and love will win. " He that endure to the end shall be saved, as scripture says. I gotta be honest.
    SDAs baffle me.
Many are brilliant like Walter V.
Then everything crashes on this one aspect. The sabbath.
Even while knowing that Christ BROKE THE SABBATH!
    IN FRONT OF EVERYBODY!
And had a whole discussion about it.
SDAs read this. And still be like “Nah it’s all about Saturday! Violate Saturday and you’re going to hell!”
    Please understand this.
    Everything (EVERYTHING!)
written in the law was faithfully executed by Jesus!
Sorry. I know that out of pride,YOU wanna fulfill some the law too.
    “How’s that pride?”
    Here’s how I smell pride.
    When you hear language like
“We do this. They don’t. They are going to hell according to what we believe to be true. But we, are safe because we do the right thing!”
    Cocky!
    No fear of God
    Fear of error .
    In that statement.
You are teachers that don’t get the subject.
THERE IS NOT A SINGLE SOLITARY ACT THAT A HUMAN CAN PERFORM THAT PLEASES GOD AND MAKES YOU RIGHT WITH HIM! ZERO!
    (Other than faith in Christ.)
Have you not read? Are you even paying attention?
When you look up to God in prayer and say “we honor your sabbath “ He sees that as your righteousness.
    Does He applaud it!
    NO!
He gives that act the same status as a woman’s discarded feminine napkin.
    Filthy rags!
Which is what the SDA movement is in his sight.
    Not the people.
    The movement.
The attempt to show that you are people of God because you honor that one single aspect of the law.
    There are many laws.
Why do you trip about the sabbath?
Did you think you could go hard on the sabbath, go light on the rest, and somehow smooth God into approving you?
Are you even seeking approval from God or are you putting on a church show?
    That plays on Saturday only?
    The primary feature of SDAs
    is “Saturday?”
So much so that you named your whole organization after it?
Any “Christian” organization without Christ in the title has a problem from the gate.

Barnabus is actually using the Bible when he makes those "weird" statements, as you say. The reason you don't understand is because SDAs interpret the Bible through EGW writings. The Bible clearly teaches that Jesus is both the sacrificial goat and the scapegoat. EGW says the scapegoat is the Devil, however, that is not Biblical. Both the scapegoat and the sacrificial goats HAD to be chosen from the congregation of the Israelites. The devil is not from the congregation of the chosen ones. Also, Jesus paid the price, which included hell. This is what we deserve and were sentenced to. That speaks of the scapegoat. Jesus stood in our place and suffered the penalty, not the devil, as EGW says

If Jesus is the scapegoat, He's not supposed to go back to heaven. He must be left alone in this sinful world (wilderness) to die the second time.
Now perhaps you see your problem with your scapegoat theory? Nowhere, in the Bible you can find a single text that Jesus the Saviour should die the second time.
It is just proper, at the end of the atonement process that the scapegoat (Satan) should bear the sins he caused all the people to commit because he himself is the instigator of sin.

    Critic here ....
    Ignatius of Antioch
“[T]hose who were brought up in the ancient order of things [i.e. Jews] have come to the possession of a new hope, no longer observing the Sabbath, but living in the observance of the Lord’s day, on which also our life has sprung up again by him and by his death” (Letter to the Magnesians 8 [A.D. 110]).
    Justin Martyr
“But Sunday is the day on which we all hold our common assembly, because it is the first day on which God, having wrought a change in the darkness and matter, made the world; and Jesus Christ our Savior on the same day rose from the dead” (First Apology 67 [A.D. 155]).
    The Didascalia
“The apostles further appointed: On the first day of the week let there be service, and the reading of the holy scriptures, and the oblation [sacrifice of the Mass], because on the first day of the week [i.e., Sunday] our Lord rose from the place of the dead, and on the first day of the week he arose upon the world, and on the first day of the week he ascended up to heaven, and on the first day of the week he will appear at last with the angels of heaven” (Didascalia 2 [A.D. 225]).
    Origen
“Hence it is not possible that the [day of] rest after the Sabbath should have come into existence from the seventh [day] of our God. On the contrary, it is our Savior who, after the pattern of his own rest, caused us to be made in the likeness of his death, and hence also of his resurrection” (Commentary on John 2:28 [A.D. 229]).
    Victorinus
“The sixth day [Friday] is called parasceve, that is to say, the preparation of the kingdom. . . . On this day also, on account of the passion of the Lord Jesus Christ, we make either a station to God or a fast. On the seventh day he rested from all his works, and blessed it, and sanctified it. On the former day we are accustomed to fast rigorously, that on the Lord’s day we may go forth to our bread with giving of thanks. And let the parasceve become a rigorous fast, lest we should appear to observe any Sabbath with the Jews . . . which Sabbath he [Christ] in his body abolished” (The Creation of the World [A.D. 300]).
    Eusebius of Caesarea
“They [the early saints of the Old Testament] did not care about circumcision of the body, neither do we [Christians]. They did not care about observing Sabbaths, nor do we. They did not avoid certain kinds of food, neither did they regard the other distinctions which Moses first delivered to their posterity to be observed as symbols; nor do Christians of the present day do such things” (Church History 1:4:8 [A.D. 312]).
“[T]he day of his [Christ’s] light . . . was the day of his resurrection from the dead, which they say, as being the one and only truly holy day and the Lord’s day, is better than any number of days as we ordinarily understand them, and better than the days set apart by the Mosaic law for feasts, new moons, and Sabbaths, which the apostle [Paul] teaches are the shadow of days and not days in reality” (Proof of the Gospel 4:16:186 [A.D. 319]

Yes, men have said and done many wrong things. Peter stood up from the gentile table when the Jews walked in.
That’s the whole point of this video… just because some men claimed that the Sabbath is no more and that Sunday worship is instituted does not mean that this is the right thing to do just how just because Peter got up from the table doesn’t mean that this is the right thing to do. Just like Paul spoke the truth and explained that Peter shouldn’t separate himself from the gentiles, in this video we can see many early church fathers also speaking the truth that the Sabbath is still in place.
There isn’t a single verse that says that the Sabbath day is not to be observed anymore and that Sunday worship is now to be observed. Church traditions do not supersede the Bible… that’s the Catholic way of thinking and it’s obviously incorrect.

If you think that the law of God is some kind of burdensome yoke, then you have completely misunderstood God and His law. You are making God to be some kind of tyrant who put His people under a burdensome yoke for many centuries. However, if you listen to the people who you are saying God put under a burdensome yoke, they will tell you that following God’s law brings them liberty (Psalm 119:45) because by obeying the law they are set free from the slavery of sin (Romans 6) which is transgression of the law (1 John 3:4). That’s why James 2 refers to the 10 commandments as the law of liberty… because when we walk in them we are set free from sin, which is transgression of them.
The yoke mentioned in Acts 15 is obedience to the commandments as a means for salvation and without faith. If anyone believes that keeping the commandments by their own power and that keeping the commandments will save them, then they are under a heavy yoke because no one can do such a thing… but we don’t keep the commandments to be saved or by our own strength. We keep the commandments because we are saved and God keeps them in us by His Spirit (Ezekiel 36:26-27). It’s very dangerous to teach others that they shouldn’t keep God’s law (Matthew 5:19).

Referring to the woman keeping the Sabbath, when Jesus died: He hadn't yet resurrected at that point in time. Also, the Testament being enforced, that you read in Hebrews, refers to the Lord's Supper, the new covenant in His blood, and Jesus command for His Church to keep the Eucharist (The Lord's Supper)
Regarding Spiritual Jews, This too has to do with the Eucharist. Jesus says in eating His flesh and drinking His blood brings us life in Him and allows Him to abide in us
Paul went to the river on the Sabbath as well as Synagogues on the Sabbath, not to keep the Sabbath, as the Jews, but his sole purpose was to try and preach Jesus resurrection and His gospel to the Jews. Ultimately, the rejected him again and again
Regarding The Lord's Day in Revelation: It's clear that John taught his own disciples, such as Ignatius of Antioch and Polycarp, that The Lord's Day is His resurrection day, the first day of the week. Ignatius speaks of this in his writings. John is the one that says the Lord's Day, and he is the one who teaches his disciples that he was talking about the first day of the week.
The Didache is the first Catechism of the Catholic Church, and by reading it, you just proved that the Eucharist and confession of sins were central to the worship of Jesus. The writings of the 1st century fathers refer to the didache and agree in the early practices of the Church. Their writings confirm the didache. So how is it that you believe in the didache, which is a writing of early Church fathers, but you don't believe in the writings of other Church Fathers that agree and confirmed the didache? That's inconsistent.
Barnabas was referring to the old testament which speaks of the 8th day and pointed to Christ's resurrection. The agnostics were trying to take this old testament teaching and create heresy, however, for this reason, the Church had councils of Trent and Nicea. The whole purpose for the councils were to state exactly what the Church believes, according to the didache and protect the Church from heresy. Many people were heretical, including the Waldenses

55:26 The Ethiopians are part of the Oriental Orthodox, not the Eastern Orthodox, so they had nothing to do with the schism between East and West. The Oriental Orthodox had split off back in the 450's after Chalcedon. They're unique among all the ancient churches (including their fellow Oriental Orthodox) for being the only ones to keep the Sabbath, due to strong Judaizing tendencies thanks to the presence of Beta Israel. They also don't eat pork and have a 35-book New Testament, five books of which detail specifically Ethiopian Church custom. Jesus Christ is our Creator (John 1.1-3,14; Colossians 1.16,17). He gave to mankind the gifts of the 7th day Sabbath and marriage. They were given before sin entered our world (Mark 2.27,28). Therefore the 7th day Sabbath and marriage are NOT shadows.
Jesus Christ also wrote with His own finger the 4th Commandment "Remember the Sabbath day". One cannot remember something that hasn't already been in existence. Furthermore, He hasn't removed His blessing and sanctification of the 7th day Sabbath.
The issue at the end of time is worship (Revelation 13 and 14). Jesus says in John 4.24 "God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth". He does not want us to give vain worship which is to teach and substitute tradition for the Commandments of God (Matthew 15.9; Mark 7.7).

The word "day" is italicized so it is not in the original manuscripts. The work "week" in the greek is Sabbaton( Sabbath). Therrefore these two verses have nothing to do with them meeting on Sunday. It is identifying the first Sabbath after passover as Leviticus 23 states in the "feast of weeks" It is the counting of Sabbaths, after Passover in which we count 7 Sabbaths and then add 1 day to identify when the feast of Shavuot (Pentecost) occurs. Look at the context of these verses and you will see it was during the feast of Unleavened Bread

Page 65. The Sabbath Among the Waldenses.-There are writers who have maintained that the Waldenses made a general practice of observing the seventh-day Sabbath. This concept arose from sources which in the original Latin describe the Waldenses as keeping the Dies Dominicalis, or Lord's day (Sunday), but in which through a practice which dates from the reformation, the word for “Sunday” has been translated “Sabbath.”

This is how sabbath works biblically. If nothing ever changes, so that you always work six days and take the seventh day off, the sabbath will always be on the same day. If that day happens to be our modern Saturday, that would never change. If it happens to be any other day than our modern Saturday, it would never change from that day.
But if you take more than one day off and resume work on some day of the week other than Sunday, you would begin counting six days from the day you resume working. Your seventh day would then be whatever day it happens to fall on. Sabbath is about counting. After you work six days, take the seventh day off. But it also says to stay in your home. It doesn't say go to church.
Exodus 16:29 See, for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.
Exodus 16:30 So the people rested on the seventh day.
Exodus 20:9-10 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work,...
But sabbath is not a day of the week at all really. Sabbath is a person, and he is the Lord of the sabbath or the Lord of rest. Sabbath doesn't mean Saturday. Sabbath means rest.
Mt 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Secondly, Jesus shows us how the Sabbath can be celebrated by teaching in the Synagogues, teaching in communities, healing, and eating, as well as resting. Thirdly, the resting, is resting in His sanctification that only Jesus can give us daily, and special sanctification on the Sabbath. 👍

You keep reading the early Church writings, but it seems like you're not listening to what you're reading. It is true and still is today, the 7th day Sabbath Should be a day or rest, not working. If you go to any Catholic Church, you will see that confession of sins is offered always on the Sabbath, so it was never discouraged to rest on the Sabbath. However, Jesus commanded His disciples to keep the Lord's Supper on The Lord's day. For this reason, we keep the Eucharist on the first day of the week since the resurrection of Jesus. We don't have to "rest" on that day. Just the same we don't have to keep the Eucharist on the 7th day Sabbath either. But keeping the Eucharist on the first day of the week is commanded by Christ Himself, so Sunday Mass is mandatory, and Mass is offered 7days per week, but Sunday is the Mandatory day for Mass

For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day. Matthew 12:8
Exodus 20:9-10 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work,...
Is Saturday really sacred? Is sabbath a day of the week, or is sabbath a day of rest? Sabbath is about counting. After we have labored six days, take the seventh day off and stay home. That is how the commandment is written. It says nothing about which day of the week is which. The commandment does not say anything about going to Seventh Day Adventist church on Saturday, or any other church on Sunday.
When Jesus told the people they needed to eat his flesh and drink his blood, most of them went away and quit following Him. They did not understand what he was saying. He was speaking spiritually; they were not having the same conversation. When the Pharisees accused Jesus of breaking the sabbath, they were not having the same conversation. When Jesus says He is Lord of the sabbath, He is not talking about a day of the week. He is saying He is the Lord of the rest.
Everything that the Old Testament says is a shadow of things to come. Once they are come, there is no more purpose for the shadow. The shadow is a prophetic rehearsal. Jesus is the One who casts the shadow. Once He came He fulfilled it. When it says He fulfilled it, it does not mean He perfectly kept the commands, although He did. Fulfilled means He fulfilled the prophecies. He brought them to pass. Jesus is the Sabbath. He is the rest, which is what sabbath means. When Jesus returns, the millennial kingdom will be the Sabbath rest of the earth. That is what the seventh day represents. It has nothing to do with what day of the week we call the seventh. It is about looking forward to that eternal Sabbath rest.
If we make it about a particular day of the week we are doing the exact same thing the Pharisees did. We make man for the sabbath. The sabbath was a gift to man so that we would not work ourselves to death, and work our employees and servants to death. It was given so we could catch our breath and recharge our batteries spiritually, mentally and physically. Once every seven days, take a break. It is not about making a particular day of the week holy. It is about setting apart one day a week to focus on our relationship with God and not be distracted with the worries and labors of life. When we make it about the day, we completely miss the point; it then becomes a form of idolatry. It is not even about which day of the week. It is about one day in seven, take a rest. It is not the day of the week that is holy, it is the rest. Which day is number seven depends on when we start our work week. It does not say anything about going to church or synagogue. It says stay put.
Mark 7:13 Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.
Exodus 16:29 See, for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.
Exodus 16:30 So the people rested on the seventh day.
Exodus 20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
Colossians 2:16-17 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
Romans 14:5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
Luke 9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
If we take up our cross daily, every day is the same. Sabbath doesn't mean Saturday, and it doesn't mean seventh. Sabbath means rest. Jesus is the Sabbath. Jesus is our rest. We no longer have to work our way to God, which we never could do.
John 5:16-18 And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day. But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work. Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.
Matthew 12:5-8 Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless? But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple. But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless. For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.

      A New Covenant
A covenant is an agreement between two parties. In this case, it is a covenant between God and Israel. As long as both parties abide by the terms of the agreement, the covenant will continue. If either party violates the terms of the agreement, the covenant is broken. Israel broke the terms of the agreement because it was too burdensome. They could not keep it. The new covenant is not burdensome at all. It is easy to keep.
Matthew 11:28-30 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
He gives us rest because He is the Lord of rest, or the Lord of the sabbath.
When Jesus says "the law," He is talking about the entire word of God from Genesis to Revelation. He is not just talking about the old covenant. He is not just talking about the first five books of the Bible. Torah does not mean just the first five books of the Bible, the way the Jews look at it. Torah is the whole Bible. If the New Testament says the old covenant has vanished away, it has vanished away. That is the law.
Jeremiah 31:31-34 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
Hebrews 8:6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.
Hebrews 7:11-12 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.
Hebrews 7:19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.
This is how the law is written on our heart.
Galatians 6:2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
John 13:14-17 If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.
John 13:34-35 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
John 15:9-12 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
Galatians 5:13-16 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another. This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
1 John 4:19-21 We love him, because he first loved us. If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.
1 John 3:23-24 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
If you are only looking at it as the Levitical law, you are only thinking carnally.
1 John 5:3-5 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
John 6:28-29 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
      Enter His Rest
Isaiah 46:9-10 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:
How did God "declare the end from the beginning"? By giving us the seven day week as a perpetual reminder. The age or genea of man will be six days or six thousand years. The last or seventh day will be the millennial rest of the earth.
Hebrews 4:1-11 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest. Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief: Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts. For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

    -- second Jewish revolt
Bar Kokhba revolt. It is estimated that more than a half million Jews were killed in the Second Jewish Revolt; virtually all the Jews of Judaea died or were exiled. After the Jews' defeat, the Romans changed the name of Judaea to Syria Palaestina and made Jerusalem into the Roman colony of Aelia Capitolina. Ad 132-136 then the Jews were persecuted by Hadrian.
    Circumcision outlawed
    Jewish holiday outlawed
Jewish practices were outlawed and Jews were exiled. Sometimes Christians were persecuted as being Jews. To evade persecution, Christians started to meet on Sunday and keep sabbath quietly at home.

SDA is good at reading half a verse that fits into their theology and ignoring the other section "not man for the Sabbath" it is typical of them to ignore, to help push a false narrative. Ok ...for just a moment think of the Sabbath has a vehicle. The vehicle was made for man, he can benefit from its use but man was not created for a vehicle. Naturally you would know that man came before a vehicle. Therefore man is lord of his vehicle, he uses it as he sees fit to benefit him. The Sabbath was suppose to be a delight to the Jews but became burdensome due to extremely strict guidelines which missed the whole essence of a Sabbath in the first place. Example: An SDA would dare not visit the sick in the hospital or even go look for a family member they haven't seen in a long time or prepare a meal for the homeless because of their mindset similar to Pharisees being legalistic to the law. Jesus made that statement in response to the accusation that he and his disciples were hungry and they walked through the corn fields and plucked corn. Righteous actions under the moral code of love and practicality always supercedes a Sabbath law. Jesus made it plain in his healing and other kind acts on the Sabbath. The Sabbath was made for man from creation then it would conflict with God making a covenant with Israel ALONE under the same dispensation which DOES NOT INCLUDE GENTILES. Where does the bible says that Adam and Eve labored for six days and observed a Sabbath? The bible made no such claim of Adam and Eve being a part of God's rest. Then how could they have feared him but forgotten about a 7th-day rest? You are mixing Sabbath rest with Sunday keeping. The Catholic Church and Protestants still work on Sundays, they go to brunch after Church, they go shopping, etc.. The "rest" of the Sabbath is reserved for the 7th day of the week. Catholics encourage people to rest on the 7th day of the week. They don't discourage rest. As far as getting together for The Lord's Supper, though, that is the part of Sunday keeping, not rest. The Church has always acknowledged this. It wasn't until recently that pope Francis is talking about resting on Sundays, however, if you haven't noticed, he's also talking about resting on Sabbath, Saturday. Be watchful, because a law might actually be enforced for people to take Sabbath rest on Saturdays, since Jews are already practicing this

Leviticus 23:3 shows God commands sabbath rest, holy convocation and abstaining from servile work on the seventh day which belongs to Him.
Working on Sunday is right and proper according to Exodus 20:9; Genesis 1:1-31. Worshipping daily, thrice daily (Psalm 55:17; Daniel 6:10) is not the issue so obviously when examining Revelation 14:6-12 we see the issue. Verse 7 says worship creator God (Exodus 20:8-11) vs worship the beast (disobedience to Gods fourth commandment)
Your claim that the Catholic Church encourages people to rest on the Sabbath day is not in harmony with the catholic boasts see below:
      ****
Chancellor Albert Smith for Cardinal of Baltimore Archdiocese, letter dated February 10, 1920:
If Protestants would follow the Bible, they should worship God on the Sabbath day by God is Saturday. In keeping the Sunday, they are following a law of the Catholic Church.
      S.C. Mosna, Storia della Domenica (1969): 366-367:
Not the Creator of the Universe in Genesis 2:1-3, but the Catholic Church “can claim the honor of having granted man a pause to his work every seven days.”

Luke 23: 53And taking him down, he wrapped him in fine linen and laid him in a sepulchre that was hewed in stone, wherein never yet any man had been laid. 54And it was the day of the Parasceve: [this fell on Friday so obviously the last supper took place as the institution of the foot washing ordinance and the communion service of unleavened bread and unfermented wine, both representing the sinless body and blood of Christ] and the sabbath drew on. [the seventh day of the week is the Saturday Sabbath] 55And the women that were come with him from Galilee, following after, saw the sepulchre and how his body was laid. 56And returning, they prepared spices and ointments: and on the sabbath day they rested, according to the commandment. [the fourth commandment in the Catholic Bible tells us to keep Saturday holy, to rest, and in that sane Catholic Bible in Leviticus 23:3 God commands us to assemble for corporate worship and to abstain from servile work on Saturday and nowhere commands the sanctity of Sunday]
So nowhere in scripture is communion connected with Sunday observance ever! If you disagree then do provide the scripture which connects the two together in opposition to Luke 22 as often as you do so do it in remembrance of Me.
Provide the citation for where pope Frances promotes Sabbath rest since he is the representative of the papacy which is the antichrist of Daniel 7:25 and 2 Thessalonians 2:4-8 claiming that he is God and above the Bible in fact that he is God on earth which, him being a mere man, is blasphemy against God see below
      *****
      Catholic Record (September 1, 1923):
The [catholic] Church is above the Bible, and this transference of the Sabbath observance is proof of that fact.
Pope Leo XIII, Praeclara Gratulationis Publicae (The Reunion of Christendom), June 20, 1894:
We hold upon this earth the place of God Almighty.
      “Pope,” Ferraris’ Ecclesiastic Dictionary:
The Pope is of so great dignity and so exalted that he is not a mere man, but as it were God, and the vicar of God.
      Our Sunday Visitor (April 18, 1915): 3:
The letters inscribed in the Pope’s miter are these: VICARIUS FILII DEI, which is the Latin for, “Vicar of the Son of God.”
      *****
The Sunday law will give false protection to Sunday worshippers but God will protect His faithful who keep His Saturday Sabbath from their persecutors
Jeremiah 20:11But the Lord is with me as a strong warrior: therefore they that persecute me shall fall, and shall be weak: they shall be greatly confounded, because they have not understood the everlasting reproach, which never shall be effaced.
See Revelation 14:6-12 that’s God calling you out for the Catholic Church (Revelation 18:1-4) if you choose instead to stay and continue in wilful sin of breaking the Sabbath of Gods fourth commandment then don’t be surprised when you hear Him say to you “get away from Me I never knew you, you who are without law” (Matthew 7:23)

This should be fun. There were always groups that observed sabbath even a few Christian groups but they didn't all worship the sabbath like sda do. This is your god sadly. Your doctrines don't know the true Gospel so your sabbath worship is meaningless
