That is one of the best introductions to Biblical Hebrew you can get at an affordable price. It does take self-discipline to learn from it. I suggest taking a course first and then using that course book to reinforce and learn more.
The problem with completely doing away with the ten commandments and replacing it with just love is that during the inquisition and even prior, people killed tortured and stoled From “heretics” in the name of God. They actually believed they were helping the “lost souls”. And some “Christians” believe the end justifies the means and it’s ok to break the Ten Commandments for the greater good as long as it’s done in love.
(Edwin comment on Exodus 18:16) Could it be that this is the reason why God wrote with His fingers the Ten Commandments? If Moses is teaching them, and God himself asked them for how long will my people keep refusing to obey my commandments, does it logically follow that God tells them this is my will and not Moses will?. This is my thinking! God says let me take over the teaching and place the Law in front of them (on the stones) as opposed to a third person, Moses, telling them what I want.

God (Jesus) added the law to 'shine a light' on specific areas where the children of Israel were transgressing (also the rest of those living then and prior to) God's method is to send someone ahead of where He intends to go/come. Think of Jesus sending: All the prophets, John the Baptist, the disciples, and so on. Moses was the teacher to portray what Jesus would say on Sinai.

Have you ever broken any of the 10 commandments? Perhaps told a lie or disobeyed your parents? This means that you have broken ALL including the Sabbath!!! Which is equivalent to never having kept it. Ever thought of that? Some SDAs will say if you break one (referring to the Sabbath) you have broken all but this can be applied to any of them. Ever called the Lord's name in vain then you are guilty of all including the Sabbath. The law doesn't offer do overs, it's very simple, do them and live and be prosperous in the promised land or don't do them and death, punishment, enemies will overtake you (ie the Israelites) etc etc. So since you and all people are guilty of breaking all of "ten" commandments you say you are keeping, now what?

That's an argument from silence. Joseph understood that adultery was wrong in Genesis 39:9. Where did God tell him that? Job understood about burnt offerings for sin in Job 1:5. Where did he get that understanding from? I'm really curious how you would answer these questions.
In Romans 10:1-4 it's clear that Christ is the objective, the goal, the purpose, the manifestation, the perfector, the completion, the Righteousness, the reality, the fullness of the Law. No one can dispute He is the complete character of God the Father's Heart, and the Holy Spirits power to make the law of God alive in His creatures, we humans who can only be complete by the participation in the salvation process the God showed us. Because we are vacant of any righteousness of our own without the indwelling Holy Spirit working out the will of God for us. It's by the faith of Jesus and keeping the commandments of God that the character of God can replace our character. The Bible is full of promises of victory for those who's hearts are seeking to follow the LORD. In that way victory is assured.

God gave His law and the people promised to keep it. speaking of the new covenant, both in Jeremiah and Hebrews, it, they, the bible and both writers say, I will make a new covenant. He will not leave you as you were though. as long as we are here on this earth, waiting for Jesus soon return, there will be temptations but thru Him we can overcome. i agree with your last statement. the law written by Moses and put on the outside of the ark is the ceremonial laws. the 10 commandments are inside the ark. there is a distinction between the two. the law contained in ordinances, the written laws by the hand of Moses is the law that was nailed to the cross. as mentioned before not here to argue a point, it is unproductive and does not lead to Christ likeness. when writing online, one cannot read a person's expressions which lead to understanding how a person is trying to relate a thought. understanding this i will say your first comment does come across with a little hostility. hoping it wasn't meant that way. i guess this would be my best way of understanding law and grace. no man can ever be saved by his efforts to keep the law. faith, simply stated is trust in God, his mercy and grace, is the only way. to the sinner the law convinces, convicts him of his sin that he may turn to God in Godly sorrow, ask for His forgiveness, repent (to turn form his sinful ways) and trusting God for salvation and His promises of it and His help in overcoming sin. so then the law, which convicts man of his sin, now becomes a guide for us to know what sin is that thru Christ and His word, we can resist and stay away from it. @@larrybedouin2921

the law did exist before Sinai. one might ask why the sabbath was brought to their attention first or in such a way? consider where they had been for 400 years, in Egypt and in slavery, forced, coerced to do as told and follow the Egyptians. in every nation at that time there was idolatry, false gods. and in each the worship of the sun was prominent. Baal, Ra, Moloch, Chemosh, Apollo, Saturn, all worshiped on the day of the sun. God had to reveal to them who was the True God and on what day He was to be worshiped.

What is coming to my mind? Is that right from the garden of Eden before, Eve ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. God created Adam and Eve and the human race to never have sinned. So right from when God breathed the life into them. He basically breathed the 10 commandments into Adam and Eve's DNA. So the only reason the 10 commandments were wrote on stone is because we are living in a fallen world and if we ourselves were in the garden of Eden Before eating from the tree of the knowledge a good and evil we would have never sined either. But because Eve did eat of the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil. God probably took that dna out of our hearts and stamped them on the stone because The 10 commandments were sinless and it was part of god's DNA so we were meant to have The 10 commandments in us right from the beginning of the creation of man. And then Jesus would have never had to come to Earth to die for our sins so we could be going back to the beginning before sin ever came into existence. It is all Satan's fault right from the start when Pride entered his heart. He just wanted to get revenge because he is so angry and resentful that he wants to destroy everything that is all about God. So when we become baptized and we become death too sin. When we go under the water. Our water grave and when we come up. It's like we are going back to the beginning of the creation of man. But then we still have the problem with the serpent and satan still roaming the Earth able to tempt people. And there's already sinful people already in the world. So they are basically our tree of the knowledge of good and evil. So when we see the people it's like our eyes are being opened again Every single day to be reminded that we are a fallen nature now. So as soon as we are baptized, We need to keep putting The Full Armor of God on because we have to be protected every single day from the knowledge of the Tree of good and evil, every single day and we need to repent of our sins because every single day we are reminded of our fallen nature. And as Christians we should have a desire and a yearning to follow the 10 commandments because that is what is going to keep us right with God. We need to create good habits in our daily walk with living a righteous life so we need to keep practicing and praying and asking God to keep working in our hearts to make us become conditioned to basically just automatically follow the 10 commandments. There's no question about it because we are living that life and we are not practicing sin (bad habit's). And that can keep coming into our lives. So bad habits create sinful natures. And we shouldn't even question and justify what a sinful nature is. But because we have experienced that and we know that if we do not want to have a bad habit in our life. We need to be practicing that over and over and over again. And there should be no question about it that we will be already living that life of following the 10 commandments. As soon as Jesus will take us up into the clouds, then we are going to have those 10 commandments already coming through us automatically so God does not have to try to remove all of those bad sinful natures that is in the fallen man. And then we will have the Commandment's of God wrote on our hearts because when the angels go around and put the plagues on the sinful man, the fallen man. Then because we have got that already going through us. Our DNA is coming to life again? So the New Testament is only a reminder of what we should have been doing right from the beginning before the fall of men and we should not be Questioning God because he knows what is right for us to live a righteous life. So we should not even be questioning God to what is right and wrong? What we need to be doing is just obeying and listening to God because it's just what we should be doing automatically. And then we never would have come face to face with the serpent and sin. We automatically would follow the 10 commandments.
The Ten commandments were Given by God to Moses...God Himself wrote them with His Finger... Moses had no role in composing neither writing them. They're in no way Mosaic Laws but God's. It's we Christians who call them Mosaic or Moses's. Moses Just picked them to present them.

The law of Moses, according to scripture, is the entire Torah. There are multiple scriptures that treat the law of Moses as referring to the first five books of the Bible. Even Jesus and paul used it this way. Galatians 4:21-22 ESV - Tell me, you who desire to be under the law, do you not listen to the law? For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by a slave woman and one by a free woman. Abraham is in the law according to galatians. Which then means Paul does not have the ceremony law in view. He's referring to Genesis and the entirety of the Torah.

Just to be clear, SDAs are NOT born of the Spirit, have not been born again - a command of Jesus - and so according to His judgment, they cannot see (perceive/understand) the Kingdom of God. They have another jesus - a mere angel(Michael) who has no power or authority to save anyone because YHWH said, "I Am the Saviour and besides Me there in NO other." He also said, "They shall look upon ME Whom they have pierced" Jesus said, "If you have seen Me you have seen the FATHER" - Michael never claimed that. I really don't want to bother watching 3 hours to better understand the title, but what exactly are you claiming with this title? God obviously has always had laws for man since Eden. However, the Mosaic law is a different set of laws. Thus, is this title claiming the Mosaic law existed prior to Exodus 20? If the claim is the Mosaic law was practiced before Exodus 20, I'll watch the show to try to better understand your premise. Just saying "God had laws before Exodus 20" is not really a stance on anything because we all see God had commandments prior to Exodus 20. You are 100% wrong if the premise is the Mosaic laws were practiced before Exodus 20. So, can you clarify your title because it's vague.
So you know, the sda prophet, Ellen white was the one that had a vision of the ten commandments in heaven, with a halo around the the 4th. She also taught that satan accused God of being unfair because the law was to hard to keep. And therefore sda need to vindicate God by keeping the ten commandments. Hence the law existed in heaven before the earth according to the sda prophet.

Laws and commandments and prophets teachings are written as reminder because we forget by easily distracted. But it already exists in or dna.

The problem with completely doing away with the ten commandments and replacing it with just love is that during the inquisition and even prior, people killed tortured and stoled From “heretics” in the name of God. They actually believed they were helping the “lost souls”. And some “Christians” believe the end justifies the means and it’s ok to break the Ten Commandments for the greater good as long as it’s done in love.
(Edwin comment on Exodus 18:16) Could it be that this is the reason why God wrote with His fingers the Ten Commandments? If Moses is teaching them, and God himself asked them for how long will my people keep refusing to obey my commandments, does it logically follow that God tells them this is my will and not Moses will?. This is my thinking! God says let me take over the teaching and place the Law in front of them (on the stones) as opposed to a third person, Moses, telling them what I want.

God's method is to send someone ahead of where He intends to go/come. Think of Jesus sending: All the prophets, John the Baptist, the disciples, and so on. Moses was the teacher to portray what Jesus would say on Sinai.

Ever called the Lord's name in vain then you are guilty of all including the Sabbath.

God gave His law and the people promised to keep it. speaking of the new covenant, both in Jeremiah and Hebrews, it, they, the bible and both writers say, I will make a new covenant. Those verses show the separation between God's law (ten commandments) and the law of Moses.

What is coming to my mind?
Is that right from the garden of Eden before, Eve ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. God created Adam and Eve and the human race to never have sinned.
So right from when God breathed the life into them. He basically breathed the 10 commandments into Adam and Eve's DNA.
So the only reason the 10 commandments were wrote on stone is because we are living in a fallen world and if we ourselves were in the garden of Eden Before eating from the tree of the knowledge a good and evil we would have never sined either.
But because Eve did eat of the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil.
God probably took that dna out of our hearts and stamped them on the stone because The 10 commandments were sinless and it was part of god's DNA so we were meant to have The 10 commandments in us right from the beginning of the creation of man.
And then Jesus would have never had to come to Earth to die for our sins so we could be going back to the beginning before sin ever came into existence.
It is all Satan's fault right from the start when Pride entered his heart.
He just wanted to get revenge because he is so angry and resentful that he wants to destroy everything that is all about God.
So when we become baptized and we become death too sin. When we go under the water. Our water grave and when we come up. It's like we are going back to the beginning of the creation of man.
But then we still have the problem with the serpent and satan still roaming the Earth able to tempt people. And there's already sinful people already in the world.
So they are basically our tree of the knowledge of good and evil. So when we see the people it's like our eyes are being opened again Every single day to be reminded that we are a fallen nature now.
So as soon as we are baptized, We need to keep putting The Full Armor of God on because we have to be protected every single day from the knowledge of the Tree of good and evil, every single day and we need to repent of our sins because every single day we are reminded of our fallen nature.
And as Christians we should have a desire and a yearning to follow the 10 commandments because that is what is going to keep us right with God.
We need to create good habits in our daily walk with living a righteous life so we need to keep practicing and praying and asking God to keep working in our hearts to make us become conditioned to basically just automatically follow the 10 commandments. There's no question about it because we are living that life and we are not practicing sin (bad habit's).
And that can keep coming into our lives. So bad habits create sinful natures. And we shouldn't even question and justify what a sinful nature is.
But because we have experienced that and we know that if we do not want to have a bad habit in our life.
We need to be practicing that over and over and over again.
And there should be no question about it that we will be already living that life of following the 10 commandments.
As soon as Jesus will take us up into the clouds, then we are going to have those 10 commandments already coming through us automatically so God does not have to try to remove all of those bad sinful natures that is in the fallen man. And then we will have the Commandment's of God wrote on our hearts because when the angels go around and put the plagues on the sinful man, the fallen man. Then because we have got that already going through us. Our DNA is coming to life again? So the New Testament is only a reminder of what we should have been doing right from the beginning before the fall of men and we should not be Questioning God because he knows what is right for us to live a righteous life.
So we should not even be questioning God to what is right and wrong? What we need to be doing is just obeying and listening to God because it's just what we should be doing automatically.
And then we never would have come face to face with the serpent and sin.
We automatically would follow the 10 commandments.

Just to be clear, SDAs are NOT born of the Spirit, have not been born again - a command of Jesus - and so according to His judgment, they cannot see (perceive/understand) the Kingdom of God.

I really don't want to bother watching 3 hours to better understand the title, but what exactly are you claiming with this title? God obviously has always had laws for man since Eden. However, the Mosaic law is a different set of laws. Thus, is this title claiming the Mosaic law existed prior to Exodus 20? If the claim is the Mosaic law was practiced before Exodus 20, I'll watch the show to try to better understand your premise.
