Was watching this and realised halfway through you were at Pavenham. The amount of times I've stood on that area practicing bunkers shots and pitches...never seen you there on a cold wet Saturday morning in the winter though!
More great information on pitching. I have a question James. When going to a tournament, and it's practice area. I would see the pros finnish with a shot that looks incredible. I have tried to emulate without success. The pitch looks almost "duffed." The intention is no distance with height, and not a flop shot. Can you help. Thanks in anticipation.
Had a lesson with you a few years ago near Silverstone...still he best lesson I've had :) glad to see you're doing some youtube stuff, I'd forgotten the tee drill! I had an equipment question for you: If I'm purchasing new wedges would your recommendation be to purchase versatile grinds to enable the development of a wider range of shots (through practise) or clubs that make ground interaction easier but may limit versatility. Think M grind Cokey vs K Grind for example. I've always gone between both schools of thought...play off 12 and short game is a strength i'd say.
Hi James. Any chance you could produce a video on how to play from hard pan lies around the green. Is it better to change technique or the bounce on your wedge
The skill it took to make this video whilst being eaten alive by swarms of bugs is next level.
Ha! Crazy wasn't it. To be honest I barely noticed until watching it back!
I got the same shirt , good choice in style, cheers from canada

Haha yes, don't expect to see that this winter either!
@@JamesRidyardGolf that's a shame, I could do with a winter league partner :)
i feel the tee drill is trying to be so precise, versus going down after it %100 a keeping it shallow via rotation and posture

Good work
Thanks
Just a tip, the audio is all coming through the left side. You may want to adjust your audio recording settings.
Thanks, have just changed mics so will hopefully fix the issue going forward
Cheers sir.

I'd go with versatility every time, the positives far outweigh any negatives. Don't be scared of the L either, it says 4º but it measures at 8º!!
@@JamesRidyardGolf Thanks for the reply. I remember you used to use the fourteen golf wedges, what you got now?

Hi Ian, yes I'll look at doing this!
