Great video, YES! the specs of the packaging are important too. Getting a sample that isn't what you expected is frustrating. So making sure you describe in detail what you expect and having the factory send a photo of the item first - the actual item they are sending first, sometimes the sample is different from their catalog photos. Are you wearing your PSG jacket to celebrate Messi's arrival ?

Yes to the molds! Also do you recommend to do third party quality inspection every time you make an order with the same supplier? Or just the first, second, third time etc? Even after they've been supplying to you for a couple years? Or just the first few times? Thank you
Hey Paola great question! I prefer to keep doing inspections because sometimes mistakes can happen and it's not deliberate, it could be our mistake not supplying the right label or the suppliers mistake not doing a proper clean of the products before packing into the box as they rushed the order etc. Anything can happen but a QC just allows you to spot any problems rather than it becoming a major issue. I always look at it as the cost of the QC vs the value of the order, for example if the QC is $200 but the order value is $20k then it's totally worth it every time just so you have that peace of mind that your goods are shipping with no issues :)

Question: I was quoted $30 USD shipping freight by FedEx for a sample of a super light/generic product that weighs no more than 4-8 ounces. This is my first ever Alibaba sample request, no modifications were made. The shipping price was shocking, isn’t there ePacket? Why is it so expensive? For exclusivity there's a few different ways you can get it: - Exclusivity of time e.g. 3 months / 6 months - Exclusivity of a market e.g. you get Japan or Germany - Ask supplier to offer you a target QTY you must order for you to keep worldwide exclusivity e.g. if we order 10,000pcs per year you can't sell to anyone else - Exclusivity to online or offline. When your talking about SGS, would this be an inspection company to do inspections of the product before it ships? Do they work with start-up companies?

For the outdoor products that was in the Scottish Highlands but the Veltra bag that was snowboarding in the Dolomites and quad biking in the desert 🐫 was just lucky to be in those areas so made the most of it by testing products at the same time 👊

No worries Harry, was just meaning rather than sending 3 different samples from 3 different locations in China to you, it's better t get your suppliers to send their samples to one location in China for the items to get bundled there and then sent onto you as one package to minimize your freight cost. That location in China could be your pre-shipment inspection company's office, your freight forwarders office, whether you have any friends in China, I also have a sample consolidation office too which charges for bundling samples if you needed to use that just let me know, cheers
