My mistake was not getting the inspection done since I was dealing with the manufacturer for a long time. Eventually learned from that though!

@@SourcingWithKian Yes yes yes :) I am planning to develop my own product so just learning everything about it. It is quite scary and exciting at the same time since it is an electronic product. I remember even you mentioned that a good way to move forward the product is to have my own production line.

Great info, Kian! For me the information provided is very useful. My fist brand was developed in Europe, in my country, but this second brand that I want to launch will be developed in China. For this I need to learn how to proceed with the suppliers.

What program do you use to create the spec sheet & to get your custom products designed? I have several rough drafts drawn out but Idk what program to use to turn them into a more realistic 3d visual to hand off to the supplier.

Great content, Kian! Can you please comment this case: if a manufacturer has not verified certifications but on the Alibaba Shop Page they have illustrations of multiple certifications, are they trustable? Do you suggest to request them a copy of the certificate? Thank you.

Is there any specific criteria to get listed Yeti, or any brand thing that goes through's the custom get listed at yeti?
Any shipment that lands in the USA gets put on there, but if you want to make sure your company info does not appear just google 'Electronic Vessel Manifest Confidentiality' and hit the first link, that will take your info off customs public records.

Is there a way to hide your brands supplier from the public records on Import Yeti? I don't want my competitors finding my exact supplier.
Yeh for sure just google - Electronic Vessel Manifest Confidentiality and hit the first link. That goes to US customs website where you can request to remove your info from shipping records 🤓
