I would be kinda happy to see a boss headbutt someone who was being offensive or aggressive, I "know" it's not right, but sometimes you have to get the message across seriously. I work in an office but my boss is a really good friend, and she would definitely beat somebody who ever threatened us, but it's not very likely in our industry. Still glad to know she has my back though 😊

responding to violence from somebody who will not stop unless stopped is far away from being violent unprovoked.
in fact its the morally correct thing to do. because if you don't stop somebody who wont be reasoned with they will just go and inflict violence on others. at least if you put them in their place they *may* think twice.

I had a manager when I was 17 who would have everyone leave once they cleaned their area at the end of the day, but my area took the longest to clean due to orders always being made (and approved by the manager) after the restaurant closed. So while the other parts of the kitchen were closed, it would be just me and my manager as I cleaned. She would just stand and watch me while I worked, and then tell me she already clocked me out when I went to clock out. That restaurant no longer is there, as the location closed.

I had a boss that went missing for a whole week of work, his family, friends, co-workers and the cops were looking for him. He was announced a missing person on the news found out that; he had PTSD, was taking steroids, was doing drugs, he was in the process of divorcing his wife, he lied on his resume about his degrees and leadership experience. They found him after a week he's still alive, but he is no longer a security director, this guys was making one hundred thousand a year.

my mum's in her 60s at her cleaning job and everyone assumes she's racist and comes out with messed up opinions to her. she just smiles and nodds and lets them get on with their bullshit, but the one time she was taken aback enough to be dumbstruck was when she mentioned she had an encounter (a pleasant enough one) with an older homeless lady (she was somewhere she wasnt supposed to be but was chill about it.) Mum mentioned it to her boss and he said 'oh, you mean the Jew-ess?' and she was like ''''.....uhhhhh......iiiiiiiim...... not suuuuuure???'

This one isn’t that bad compared to some of these but it was still funny. I once worked a boring retail job. One particularly slow night, my boss (man in his mid 60s with minimal computer knowledge) came out of his office and asked me if I knew how to delete browser history. I was obviously intrigued immediately. I went onto the computer and found some very lewd popups all over the screen, as well as the browser history being filled with various nsfw websites. He claimed he opened a shady looking email and the stuff just started opening by itself. His inbox was open and I casually looked through some things. He didn’t have anything even slightly suspicious in his inbox, and his computer knowledge was so limited he didn’t even know how to delete an email, so I am one thousand percent sure he was lying. But I was young, and I was afraid that if I reported him it would come back and bite me in the butt the somehow, so I just cleaned up his browser history and didn’t breathe a word of what I saw to anyone.

Wasn't my immediate supervisor...who screwed up majorly...but company Management who screwed up even worse.
Working for a small factory. Approximately 100-150 employees.
The Team Lead/Shift Manager started having an affair with an employee.
Someone filmed them engaging in "romantic" activity.
The employee is immediately fired. The Manager would have been kept on. WTF?
Fortunately the Manager had a hissy fit and didn't show up for several days. Finally got fired for job abandonment.
Why he started "f******" her. He was a a drug addict, about to be evicted. He moved in with her. They had a baby a year later. Dang she was really STUPID.

Out to dinner on a business trip, the lead attorney told us paralegals to act like we were prostitutes so he could talk dirty to us. Loudly. We paras ran to the restroom and found the restaurant staff had sent a waitress in to keep an eye on us. It took very little for us to start crying and explaining what a **head we were working for. We went back out and the disgusted look the waitress gave our boss was awful. We spent the rest of dinner firmly changing the subject. This was mid 1970s, so way before Anita Hill and harassment suits.

About 47 years ago, the manager of our local McDonald's was a smarmy, pimply, disgusting little weasel. One day, I walked in on him in the walk-in adding his *own*Special Sauce to the Special Sauce. I will never eat or drink ANYTHING from McDonald's, ever again. I'd rather eat catfish from our local (poluted)fishing hole.

Really? Again with "physically shaming" instead of "raping," "molesting," "abusing," or "assaulting?" This is NOT an acceptable way of censoring this because victims should not have to feel ashamed of someone else's actions. Survivors of abuse have enough shame to deal with and it should not be the focus of describing the action of sexual abuse.
I will continue to call this out on every Updoot Reddit video that I see using "physically shaming." Really sick of seeing this honestly.
