It’s commendable how Theo is genuinely concerned about personal growth. Throughout the entire conversation he is looking for ways to become a better person. He shows sincerity in its most vulnerable form, but also very respectable.

Joe does not know how to play off Theo's humor. So many hilarious subtle lines come out of Theo and they either go right over Joes head or he responds as if Theo is being serious. This kids great, truly unique.
I see what you're saying but at the same time him responding as if he thinks Theo is serious is also funny, do you really think Joe Rogan believes Theo was being serious when he said "will you be sad when you die"..etc.?
That's why it's so good. If Joe was reacting to everything he would be laughing as much as they are talking. He keeps it moving and Theo just keeps dropping subtle bombs.
It took me a while to get his humour but now I see it. I have a weird sense of humour, now I see how it goes over some people's head.

Theo Von is a wasted gem on these JRE podcasts. This feeds into my theory that Joe is more of a fighter/hunter than a comedian, because he'll be so tuned into the subject that he completely misses the GOLDEN jokes Theo drops every three seconds.
