I live 17 minutes from Rock Barn and played there maybe 50 times.Should have hit 4 iron on 10 and it rolls to the bottom. It’s really a 3 shot hole so need to hit driver. Get score. Swing is very good. If putts were read better you go 77 or lower. Drive looked good to me. On #1 aim for the bank always and it comes down the hill most of the time.
In the video the course didn’t look very good on the tee boxes. The other course is a damn beast. Fairway bunkers are deep and penalizing. I enjoy your North Carolina videos Allen.

I definitely would play #1 and #10 differently now knowing what they look like on the overhead flythrough, Driver does NOTHING for you on either hole for sure

There are two 18 holes courses at Rock Barn. The Tom Jackson course is public, the Robert Trent Jones, Jr course is private. Both in Conover, NC about an hour North of Charlotte off Highway 16.

Grew up at RB before it became a snooty private course. Back nine of Jackson course has changed a little but the only thing I like about the course now.
