I just got a BRZ. Honestly a lot of fun to drive and the tires are affordable and the gas mileage is good (25ish avg) definitely a good buy if you don’t want to be bored driving but don’t want to spend your live savings on a V8
Heel-toe is really just for hard braking track use. Most manual drivers aren’t tracking their cars. Manufacturers aren’t going to have that method in mind when designing their pedal placement for 1/100 customers

I've never had to heel toe on the street. I have fun in my car, but it just seems unnecessary
