Climax of Kantara is unmatched.Period. Doesn't matter if you liked the film or not or you don't like movies like Kantara ,The fact is that the climax was mind boggling and absolutely nothing comes close. The experience in theatres was bone chilling.
@@gyanendrakami486 agreed.the Movie is not a masterpiece.but Its very well made. The intensity of the climax made entire nation notice and numbers don't lie. There are lot of folks who dint like the movie which is completely fine but majority loved it and almost everyone acknowledges the incredible performance in the end. The hype also made lot of folks go to this movie with too much expectations which coulve killed their interest.
@@shubamnarayan4581 Indeed, it was the hype that prompted me to go to the theaters, only to be met with instant regret. The same scenario happened with recently released Hanuman movie, where the visuals were the only sole highlight. In terms of the storyline, the movie followed the typical South film formula with over-the-top action, justified as the divine power of Lord Hanuman. Subsequently, I decided to stop watching these reviewers and opt to watch movies only if I myself find them interesting.
@@gyanendrakami486Atleast now they are caring to give justification. Remeber the times of 2015 Sony Max Southern Movies or even the times of Mithun Da in BWood
Sharukh Khan in Fan vere he is star on waves at fans and .. Gourav (also SRK).. And he reacts at the time and scream is great... Also Sharukh khan in Darr.. When he is laughing like a physco in forest.. Damm 🔥
Rishab in Kantara during the climax was truly divine. Watched it multiple times in Dubai (Kannada and Hindi). Every time the crowd was stunned and just started clapping at the end
In animal, seeing Ranbir breakdown and crying with Shakti Kapoor's on hearing the news of Anil Kapoor's cancer. I guess, that was quite realistic as well. I as a viewer can feel the kind of emotions shown on the screen, where a son, gave away everything he had for his father and in the end couldn't save him from the fate.
Also the Swades scene where SRK tells all the villagers why US is a progressive nation as compared to India... And when SRK says that Ram is within you... SRK in Chak De India in the scene woh sattar minute SRK in Dil Se in the climax scenes when he tries to stop Manisha Koirala SRK in Devdas scene I object These scenes are a milestone of Indian cinema
I believe that K.K Menon's performance in The Railwaymen is really looked past upon as I don't hear enough about him in this role. He absolutely nailed his role and it didn't feel like he was acting at all when we saw his constant grasping for air beneath the mask while struggling to speak and coughing along with it. I feel like it needs to be appreciated more
Actually it happens sometimes not like every movie is like actor is not doing acting. If you will ask actors they will name very few performances. Like Naseeruddin Shah said when he exposed to world cinema in fTI he didn't understand they performances didn't feel like acting like when you talked about di niro in taxi driver raging bull and some others he named
Came here for Rishabh Shetty and honestly, even just a brief clip of him as the Guligha Dev in your vid gave me the goosebumps. At times, there simply aren't no words and my hands folded in reverence again. Bharat is so incredible
I still remeber when whole theatre was riding high on the superlative highway action sequence and Sanjay Dutt cameo in Jawan, the sudden shift to SRK giving a long monologue on the very essence of democracy gave me instant goosebumps. The divided reaction of the theatre just proved that why bollywood is deprived of movies having socio political relevance.
Ranveer as Bajirao, Ranveer as khilji.. immersive at max Aamir as art teacher in TZP, Aamir as Rancho... SRK in Asoka.. as a child I was convinced this is who Asoka was..
Shahrukh obviously in Baazigar climax and Darr Aamir in Rangeela and Crying scene in DCH Irfan Khan in almost all his roles, but standout in Talwar One oldie Ashok Kumar played a brilliant portrayal of Jogi Thakur in Ashirwad Sanjeev Kumar dumb and deaf role in koshish 👏👏👏
I can recommend two specific Mohanlal works - Thanmathra and Vanaprastham. many, many such natural moments when the line between the real and the unreal did get blurred. Also, the breakdown in Kireedam's climax scene! Some of the finest acting ever, in Indian cinema

This is the exact reason why I rate the brilliance of Ranbir higher in Rockstar than in Tamasha and barfi contrary to popular view. I mean there is some transcendental element in the character of Jordan and if not for sheer brilliance of Ranbir the character would have been called toxic, explicitly. P.S - I don’t intend to say Ranbir was any less in Tamasha and Barfi. I’ve just mentioned them for the reference, since both Ved and Barfi are in itself iconic characters in modern Indian cinema.

There can be an hour long seprate video for Irfan Khan when it comes to giving yourself to the character. Be it the climax sequence of Maqbool where tabu's character and Irfan's character realize what they have done and that everything is over for them it's sheer brilliance. I think camera loved Irfan khan. There are n number of scenes featuring him which can't be explained in words but just felt. Many come in this industry for the fame or family support but Irfan was there for the love for the craft. He was not the conventional hero beating up 100 goons or having a dance sequence nor was he called good looking but the characters he played made him look the best looking person in the world. I know it's been a while since we have lost the gem of this personality but still whenever I see his films and when someone talks about him it feels like a personal loss. If there can be an award on his name I think it would be a great initiative.
Jammy, Ranbir Kapoor's acting in Animal is the only thing that made me watched the whole movie otherwise the story is so cringe 😆😆😆 Edit: Bdw, what's your thought on Manoj Bajpayee's Johar.

Adarsh Gaurav in White Tiger and Guns and Gulaabs will stay with you forever. Ranbir Kapoor in Rockstar is just out of this world as nobody ever could match such raw and original performance. They raise the bar so high....
I think Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool should be a special mention, the character seems much more like an extension of his personality also Sanjay Dutt in Munna Bhai MBBS where he hugged his father , great video jammy ❤
I would like to disagree with Ryan Reynolds' case, as you said, he just plays his extension of his personality in every movie he performs in. Go and watch any of his movies, he plays the same role again and again.
Salman in Bajrangi Bhaijan Sanjay Dutt in Agneepath Ranbir in Animal, Sanju and Rockstar (his best) Hrithik in Guzarish and Agneepath SRK as Gaurav in Fan Akshay and Sidharth in Brothers. Aamir Khan in Dangal (My favorite)
Irfaan in Karwaan - where he tells Dulquer's character -"mayath par romance math kar" the "comical" anguish in his face and the hard-hitting contrast in his line always gets me cracking. Miss him like a family member. He made that scene like his scenes from piku as segment from our own lives. When we haplessly watched our friends make the same nonsensical mistake again and we failed to save them in time yet again!!
Adarsh Gourav from White Tiger to Kho gaye hum kaha has grown leaps and bounds, that kid can act ... Hope he keeps exploring and impressing in coming years.
Great content Jammy. Been following your channel for a while and this is my first comment. Agree with your list. Having been a movie fan for ages I can’t shake KK menon’s final courtroom scene. It’s stuck with me for ages and will go down in history as one of the most powerful hindi movie scenes. The conviction and the eyes as he says those lines transcends it’s from movies to real life. Also would like to mention is Irfan’s couple of scenes - one in namesake where he takes his son to the sea and the icecream scene in Pan Singh Tomar.

Kamal hassan crying after losing his son in Nayakan . That scene where he is crying near his son's dead body is really emotional and tugs at your heartstrings . The loud outburst of emotions he has when he breaks into tears really makes you feel for him. For me atleast it was real and didn't feel like acting . The aftermath of the scene was that I realised what a brilliant actor Kamal hassan was and i forgot about Amir khan afterwards. I used to be his fan but when i watched Kamal hassan in Nayakan, I knew i had just watched some next level acting and was hooked onto his acting and films. That was my introduction to serious actors of Tamil cinema. Special mention for Vicky kaushal and his deleted scene in Raman Raghav 2.0 where he describes his traumatic childhood and how he became the psychopathic monster of a person that he is now. His backstory basically. He made me feel something even though he is a evil sick twisted guy. Last but not the least Kay kay menon's performance as luke in Paanch was scary as hell. His introduction scene where he gets into a beef with BEST bus conductor. I really didn't think he was acting, i thought he was going to kill him for a few seconds , there was goosebumps out of fear. But he gets stopped by Aditya srivastav's character 😅 who takes him away . Kay kay menon's performance in the entire movie made me scared of him than any other villain by Bollywood.

A real favorite scene of mine when it comes to the Actor that is Nani, will always be the scene in Ninu Kori where he walks out of Nivetha's house after knowing he'll never get her. That continued single shot of just his face will always be one of my favorite scenes

A good actor can pull off the Animal role well. Even Shahid Kapoor would've done a great job. But Jordan is not just an actor, a singer or anything of such. He was pure emotion. Shahid Kapoor has done a star singer role but the emotional impact was missing. No one could've done better work than Ranbir as Jordan. @@JahanviSoni-h2k

Climax of Kantara is unmatched.Period.
Doesn't matter if you liked the film or not or you don't like movies like Kantara ,The fact is that the climax was mind boggling and absolutely nothing comes close. The experience in theatres was bone chilling.
Yeah , 👍🏻 nothing can match it's climax ... It's next level
But only for the climax, if a movie is considered a masterpiece then there is some problem
@@shubamnarayan4581
Indeed, it was the hype that prompted me to go to the theaters, only to be met with instant regret.

That scene man !!
Sharukh Khan in Fan vere he is star on waves at fans and ..
Gourav (also SRK)..
And he reacts at the time and scream is great...
Also Sharukh khan in Darr..
When he is laughing like a physco in forest..

Rishab in Kantara during the climax was truly divine. Watched it multiple times in Dubai (Kannada and Hindi). Every time the crowd was stunned and just started clapping at the end
Chiyaan vikram in Pithamagan.
Arya in Naan Kadavul.
Kicha Sudeep in Swathi Muthu.
Darshan thoogudeepa in Namma preethiya Ramu.
Shiva Rajkumar in Om.
SRK in Chak De India in the scene woh sattar minute
SRK in Dil Se in the climax scenes when he tries to stop Manisha Koirala
SRK in Devdas scene I object
These scenes are a milestone of Indian cinema

I believe that K.K Menon's performance in The Railwaymen is really looked past upon as I don't hear enough about him in this role. He absolutely nailed his role and it didn't feel like he was acting at all when we saw his constant grasping for air beneath the mask while struggling to speak and coughing along with it. I feel like it needs to be appreciated more
He is underrated and versatile
Nani acting never feels like acting he literally lives in that role even in small detailing
🙌

Irfan Khan in almost all his roles, but standout in Talwar
One oldie Ashok Kumar played a brilliant portrayal of Jogi Thakur in Ashirwad
Sanjeev Kumar dumb and deaf role in koshish 👏👏👏
I can recommend two specific Mohanlal works - Thanmathra and Vanaprastham. many, many such natural moments when the line between the real and the unreal did get blurred.
Also, the breakdown in Kireedam's climax scene!

I love Barfi, and Ranbir did a brilliant job as Barfi… I don’t like JJ but that character development, no wonder he won the award for it…

What about Misarani in Jurassic World and his character in Inferno?

Great content Jammy. Been following your channel for a while and this is my first comment. Agree with your list. Having been a movie fan for ages I can’t shake KK menon’s final courtroom scene. It’s stuck with me for ages and will go down in history as one of the most powerful hindi movie scenes. The conviction and the eyes as he says those lines transcends it’s from movies to real life.
