Thank you for this excellent video! We fixed our dishwasher, which was only 3 weeks old when I put some leftover roast beef in the garbage disposal and it seized the disposal, with bits of food and water overflowing into the dishwasher drain. (I had cleaned out the sensors too, with baking soda and vinegar, just in case some gunk was stuck in there). We pulled out the dishwasher, and my husband used his ShopVac to suction all the water out of the bottom tray, and now it runs perfectly. Thanks again.

Hey! I'm so glad that my video actually helped at least one other person. Usually my videos are on vehicle maintenance and repair and definitely not appliances so I knew that I wouldn't get as much views but knowing that it at least helped one other person made it worthwhile. I've been at a point where I've been stuck on something and my only saving grace was someone's random RUclips video so I hoped to offer that to someone else as well!

Thank you so much. I know what i did. I added baking soda thinking it would clean it better. I bet all that baking soda clumped up underneath my little plunger there and is preventing it from going down. Absolutely the right way to fix. You’ll have to have access to the side of your washer to make it easy. I had to remove the cap end of my cabinets to fix. Oh well easy trade off. Couldn’t pull it straight out of the hole.

i30 came up some months ago. Because my AEG dishwasher is fairly old now, I did not bother with repair and bought the new dishwasher. Before the delivery of the new one I tried the old failty one again to say the last goodbye and ohoo - it came to life! So I canceled the order for the new one. Two weeks after the cancellation, the old one came back to i30.... Mad, giving it the very last go, I found this video and - you guessed it - tilt and dry the water was all it took....

Good vid... i paid a guy to come do this last time... the hardest part for me is getting it to slide out (dont forget there are two screws holding it in the front sides)... and my tile made a lip it had to get up and over and the power and water supply line didnt want to cooperate... pain, but once you get it out you can dry up the water... I would add that the last time the guy said it needed to be tilted toward the back more... so he did that... I may tilt it a little more toward the back this time.

Great video. It helped clear my i30 code. Now code i20 appeared. usually there’s other problems that cause the over flow. In my case it’s a clogged in the hose. Now I have to find a video on how to fix that issue:)

I found out what caused the water to flow into tray underneath. My round drain filter was full of calcium. I soaked it in CLR. It cleaned it and now it is back running after I removed the overflow water from underneath.
