Great video. We have this model FGID2479SD6A and it started trying to drain out of the blue with partial numbers on the display lit. It wont let us do the diagnostic process because it seems to be stuck even if powered of and reenergized. Maybe a timer relay or timer motor but hard to find info.

I have fgid2466qf7a gallery model. How do I check saved error codes? Also, It's saying Er after running cycle and there's water pooled on the bottom. I ran diagnostic test by holding heat and start. The test stops and throws a Uf code. Now I don't know if it's Er or Uf that's wrong with it
Mine seems to be inconsistent. Sometimes you hear water going in no matter which option I choose, heavy, normal, or quick clean, the light indicating those turns off pretty quickly. But EACH one starts saying 99+ minutes. It runs sometimes, it gets hot, other times no water? Generally, not cleaning well. And it seems to have run too long a couple of times. It would not respond to the methods described in this video to get an error code, and I did let it run a little to start. Any suggestions from others? Something wrong with that control panel?
Thank you for sharing this tutorial. My dishwasher cannot start. After entering the service mode, I got iC0 for a communication error. When I tried to run a test/calibration cycle, it did nothing. Do you have any idea about this problem? Thanks!
2426TD-BS BID DI. How do i cancel cycle? It says press 3 sec to cancel but bothing happens. I set to normal wash and pressed start but then the buttons are set up to heavy wash hi temp wash and sanitize wash of which i didnt set . I wanted a quick wash. I cant stop the machine.. please advice.

Original issue when you start a cycle, no sound from the unit, after 3-5 sec the lights on the control panel go off. They all light up and seem to work when switching through options. Codes on the machine in order where i00, i63, i10. Rest the codes after that and ran normal and heavy cycle to see if any codes appeared. No codes came up and still nothing happens. The unit seems to not budge, must be mounted. Next i will try to move the unit to get to the power cord to unplug and plug back in. could it be a board or control panel issue?
Hi, if the unit has an error code and you fix the source of the error code do you have to clear that stored code for the unit to resume operation? Great video BTW.
I recently bought and had this unit installed. I can’t find the serial number to do the warranty. I’m really hoping it’s not on the part of the washer that’s under the counter. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Not sure if you have gotten an answer or found it. Your serial number should be on a sticker that is on the inner part of the door jamb. Open your dishwasher door and look all around where the door basically meets the inside. Its usually either a silver or white sticker.

Maybe you can help me out. My dishwasher isn't a month old, but my dishwasher (this exact model) acts like it has no power whatsoever all of a sudden. I checked my plug and it has power, I checked the voltage on the junction box and I have power. I checked the voltage to the plug before the circuit board, and it says it has power. The circuit board doesn't appear to be damaged in any way. I tried looking for a fuse somewhere but I can't find one. Have you encountered something like this before?
I've got the same. Had mine for about a year and a half. I did cycle my circuit breaker on mine and all the lights came back on. It read 190 on the clock and after about 20 seconds, it shut back off like no power again. Was not able to select any cycle settings prior to losing power again.
I'm getting both i20 and i30 errors. When I try to run test 5 for the drain pump, nothing happens. Is it likely that my pump system needs to be replaced?
The pump could be jammed. Meaning something has gotten down past all of the filters and got it hung up. All the dishwashers I've ever did any work on have a blade in the front of the pump that cuts up anything that wouldn't otherwise make it in or through the pump. My experience has been that the culprit is usually a toothpick.

For some reason after hitting the first three buttons all the lights are blinking. The blue light is on the bottom, it isn't starting and the display reads 188. Please help. 😢😢😢
For my model I had to cycle the power on and off to trigger the power failure mode. Then hold down the dry and start/cancel buttons for 3 seconds. For all models take the front panel off and it will have the instructions for how to do this in there. They don't make it easy😂
