Hey, it's me again. Since by the time before you end this half of the rewrite AKA part 1 to part 10, I thought I want to give you something that could help utilize both the Norse gods and the Higher Plane of Existence that Athena mentioned in God of War 3 that sadly will never be explored more if Kratos not being in the next God of War game is true, so I thought I could make this singular suggestion for the next half of your God of War rewrite before it's all finish. So basically, remember back in God of War 3 when Athena mentioned that she ascended into a "Higher Plane of Existence", where also in the comic, Fallen God, they show somewhat of a glimpse with what it looks like when Kratos was travelling through Egypt, also with the fact Athena returned back in God if War 4 when Kratos was chaining back his Blades of Chaos to kill the Helheim Guardian for its heart to cure Atreus? Unfortunately, that'll be the last time we'll ever see Athena again, including the underutilized potential of the Higher Plane of Existence, which could possibly be Pleroma from Gnostic Mythology. Like man, can you imagine if they were able to make the original Norse trilogy they initially planned like in your rewrite, maybe you could reuse that idea where Zeus was originally going to be killed at the beginning of God of War 3 and both the Nordic and Egyptian gods come over to good ol' Greek to take it for themselves, which also included Kratos gathering both of the other Kratos' from both of their respective mythologies to whoop those gods in the bum and create Monotheism, but replace Zeus with Odin and the Nordic and Egyptian gods with the Athena and Pleroma to end of your entire rewrite with the most intense, emotionally driven but also bloody final boss of all of God of War, while also finally utilizing the mentioned Higher Plane of Existence from Athena as a whole. It could help with the time jump of an older Atreus with his older actor to make more sense while also still help Kratos develop through his struggles. And maybe use Valhalla as an epilogue dlc or something like that to make its ending all the more impactful. Sorry for the long comment, I just couldn't stand to let this opportunity for you slide! 😅
1:22 Ah, so your bringing back the good ol barehanded heavy pause attack from 2018? For tech purposes give it s(original had s). Also while I like your idea of the spear R1 pause combo, we already have that in the game via Shatter Star(best way to play the game BTW). I’d come up with suggestions later on for it….
A simple yet difficult question to answer. I honestly can’t decide so imma go with the Nemean Cestus. But if we talking the modern games I’ll go with the blades only I because I unintentionally use those the most.
I ❤ that red aura attack from the dagger. Truly a trickster's weapon. A rather useful at that. Also like the explanation as to why Thrud doesn't mourn her brothers. Finally, I no longer see her as a sociopath. Finally, she can grow into me.
@@TheNature904 you're welcome. It is a questionable hability after all, driving on sadism and paranoia. The wielder should play it safe with their heart.

Will be noted. Game design will probably be more focused on when I get to the next game. Since alotta things are the same in this concept of the game and I’ll be forced to come up with new stuff for a whole new game
LOL. Sorry for taking so long. Im planning on finishing up part 9 and 10 as soon as possible. No other videos in between. So instead on 1 year it’ll be like…… Eight Months
One day I will be a youtuber and rewrite the entire gow series to show what I would have done with the franchise, so I'll have to play all the games since I never had any of the games when I was younger not even the prequels right now I have only 3,4,and ragnarok
@@DanielRodriguez-mc4bp I want to see that bro you should get started as soon as you can. Also have you at least played 1 and 2? I think the only ones I haven’t played were the side games
@@TheNature904 They both want the younger person to be like them IE sacrificing their humanity and in this path both kratos and thor killed their child(only 1 of his for thors case) and they start to break out of their relationship although for kratos it was easier. A way I like to imagine the similarity is this, put odin kratos place and what would have happened if he killed his children? He would have been sad but he would move forward serving ares to then betray him to take the power for himself and vice versa. Odin is both a antithesis/parallel to kratos and thor in this regard just like ares was and he’s also a antithesis of atreus.
@@Omar8181 While I find those situations to be a little different, it makes me think about how different they are in manipulation. If Odin was in Ares shoes and put Kratos wife and child in that village for him to kill, he would NOT have told him. He would have gaslighted tf outta him and allowed Kratos to put all that hate onto himself. Would be an interesting alternative dimension where Kratos eventually learns maybe from Athena or something that it was Odin the whole time. Both Odin and Ares do try to bring out the worst of our gods but Ares is more of an upfront evil while Odin at least allowed his son to have a family.
@@TheNature904 Disagree, odin allowed thor to have a family for HIS benefit, not out of just his kindness which is very small but there. Ofc there are differences ofc but I think the actual relationships have a similar idea
Tbh im really hoping that vali joins atreus and kratos in they're mission to begin ragnarok and stop Odin because there's alot of potential with his character
And another idea i had is that atreus would encounter vali again and then after fighting back and. forth a little vali eventually wins and then he gets ready to kill atreus but then atreus talks his way out of the situation by telling vali how him and father and the rest are preparing to unite the realms and stop odin and that convinces vali to not kill atreus and then he joins atreus side and helps him in the ragnarok battle
Also, "KH" fans, need quick advice for my take on "GOW". Long story short, I'm drafting a "KH" fic. And in it, after "Tarzan" world (in which Clayton is hanged, not whatever we got in the game), a slightly traumatized Sora (he doesn't see the corpse, but hears the snap) and co. lands on "GOW", more specifically, when young Kratos and his Spartan army were seeking ambrosia. If Sora encountered a Kratos with his family still alive, could he convince the army to let them accompany the Spartans to the tree, promising to find a way to help them and whatever people they encounter, because they may become allies to Sparta ? I mean, Sora and co. possess magic foreign to that world, which could strengthen the tree to give more than one simple fruit, Kratos here can be reasonable if you don't get in the army's way and prove usefulness, and Sora wants to get better at asserting himself, wanting to avoid blood (remember, he doesn't see destroying the Heartless as killing). I don't see what either side has to lose from this alliance.
I’m ngl gotta catch up on my KH lore. But I didn’t know KH got dark enough story wise for a God of War collaboration. I thought he was just on that mikey mouse level.
@@TheNature904 it does not. Which is why I want to do it myself. Give some of the "Grimm tales" feel to it, you know ? As much as I love the saga, I feel like they baby too much some of the characters and arcs every once in a while. So I want to balance Disney, "Final Fantasy" AND the "OG classic tales" to get a bit more out of them.
2:30 best to not have him visually think of thor but instead just have him say no in a facial matter that suggests him thinking of thor without being TOO obvious.
Also i did like how nature added that into the rewrite it really hammered home that atreus is actually loki and that he does lie this was one of my main problems with the game because atreus didnt have sort of traits from mythological loki other than him just starting ragnarok which was kinda boring to me i think it would've been cool to see atreus have a sliver tongue and talk himself out of a situation just like mythological loki
Yeah you’re right. If this was a real game he obviously wouldn’t be visually thinking of Thor. This was mainly just me narrating since part 5 was a while ago.
Funfact I discovered recently. The original director of the "GOW" saga is actually unsatisfied with the direction the series seems headed towards, seeing it as a soap opera of a director with daddy issues. "Ragnarok" was NOT his vision in the slightest. In other words, 'tis "Disney vs George Lucas" all over again.
Oh I yeah I knew a that fact. Definitely disagree feel like 2018 is a natural transformation. Although I can be slightly concerned at times that they may go too far in that soap opera direction and inevitably prove his point. But at this moment it’s nothing compared to Disney and Star Wars imo.

Being a very cute relationship between uncle and niece who hugs his uncle and sleeps on his lap before Baldur receives his curse from his mother Being a God loved by everyone in Asgard where there would be several types of tribute to him and it would show Baldur kissing his niece on the forehead in this illusion/vision of the past and I would also add a dialogue between the Midgardians npcs talking about Meili's,Kvaesir and Hoenir death and I would also put Bragi and iduna/idunn doing their own things composing music and also taking care of their golden apple tree happy together since they are a couple and I would also put Ullr and Hermodr helping Vidar on the farm and taking care of the wolves and Odin's horse and also the Thor's goats where would Ullr have a dialogue of Ullr with his half-brothers/uncles would miss his wife Skadi who committed suicide it is clear in this version that Ullr would believe a false version from his brothers that she was a traitor and that she betrayed Asgard and wanted everything for herself and that she was a terrible woman and wife for him
and that she decided to die when she married him and that she betrayed her marriage with Ullr by staying with Njord but who actually wanted to marry to the Baldur but unfortunately in a bet that she lost she had to marry Njord and also chose to marry Ullr out of pity and she betray on him behind his back and that she never liked him which would be a reference to the stories of mythology original where she and Njord got married but hated each other and never understood each other and that she did want to marry Baldur but was deceived by Loki and had to marry the God of the seas but also after separating from him after many fights she married Ullr who was her true love and would end this and there would be another dialogue with Hermodr saying that she took his own life out of disgust and disgust for him and that she loved killing her own father in short it would be manipulation and lies from your half-brothers/uncles that Ullr would cry and become even sadder and more depressed
and I would also place Nana with Forseti in the Baldur's tomb It would show that she would miss her beloved husband very much and I would also place Hodr in his brother's room or in his tomb or even in one of the statues of his beloved brother since I would put more statues of Baldur,Odin and Thor for the all Asgard as well as more rooms and photos/portraits of the Gods inside the Odin's house Mainly of Baldur's family he with his wife, son and his two brothers Hermodr and Hodr being happy/smiling together in the photo and the other photo of Baldur with Thrud holding her in his arms/lap or on his back Happy and smiling when she was younger/Kid beyond the photo of all the Gods of Asgard together on one of the walls of the Odin's room
