They need to hire this man at Santa Monica IMMEDIATELY.
Like for real man this is some A1 storytelling. You can tell Kratos is slipping further and further back into that ghost of Sparta persona and that he's trying not to be like his old self but at this point? Old Kratos is what these realms need.
The difference here is that this version of Kratos is fighting for justice, not just vengeance.

In other words, what "Ragnarok" needed.
Another suggestion:
Give fryea the ability to solidify her wings. Similar to sigruns. So she can do attacks with her wing
Imagine her launching odin with her wings and fly up to him then vines grab him and down. Then fryea lands with her sword on him
Have a scene where she dodge's an attack barely by transforming to a bird
And Then/or return to her original form and punish with her Valkyrie wings
(It's not gameplay btw)
Basically have a cool scene that involves fryea using both falcon wings and Valkyrie wings

another suggestion (sorry for all the yapping 💀): in ragnarok atreus still feels too much like his younger 2018 version, he should still be really rebellious yes. but i think he should feel more badass and more ready for war, should take inspiration from the development of paul atreides in the dune movies, for example, paul starts off as a kid with no idea of what war is and he still doesn't have that much knowledge on the politics and war going on in dune, but through dune part 2, paul completely changes and adapts, scared by the effects of the war (that would help A LOT in the god of mischief dynamic, like him being badass while setting traps for asgardian soldiers), i think atreus should be like that, scared and trauma, especially with such a strict father that he has to live up to, that would also help diving more into the kratos-atreus dynamic, the scaring, and the fact that kratos doesn't fit the criteria for a father very well, he can't show love because he wasn't built or raised like that so it's really hard for him, the dynamic could take some inspiration from the dynamic of mark and nolan in INVINCIBLE episode 1, liek not living up to his dad, that is only stated once in the games, and that's when heimdall mentions in it while theyre on the elevator thing in asgard, that scene in my opinion, should be the start of a plot point of not living up to his father in the game, and in the end realising that he doesn't have too. Also Atreus should be more badass in my opinion while still being charismatic, should take inspiration from paul atreides' badassery in the dune movies, and thorfins badassery in the vinland saga manga (i've only read the manga cuz i heard the anime wasn't as good in terms of pacing). + The whole game lacks mass, all the realms feel waaaay too empty, i find the worldbuilding to really... idk bland. Asgard should be the most population filled one, ESPECIALLY outside the walls, should feel like piltover and zaun from arcane (like i stated earlier). Vanaheim should feel like arrakis from dune, freyr's rebellion should be way bigger and it should have people from all realms, with trauma like family members dying or enslaved by asgard's empire, and they should all be in furcoats with hoods and stuff like that, but THAT is only the hidden part of vanaheim, outside of freyr's caves should be asgardian exploying camps and very polluting factories with tons of soldiers, basically destroying vanaheim, like the kashyyyk imperial camps in jedi fallen order (star wars game). Next realm, Hellheim, hellheim should feel way more like... you know... HELL. It should be a constant danger with tons of nightmare fuel creature, demon-like creatures in terms of design , and so many dead anorexic-looking people roaming around trying to eat atreus and thrud. Midgard i would keep the same except that you would see tons of abondend houses and villages due to the population being transfered to asgard, like having frozen mills in the hills, holy rhyme 💀(not on purpose by the way), and maybe lean more towards more dark stuff like frozen animals, for example, imagine how sad it would be seeing the effects of fimbulwinter in a rabbit family frozen, a rabbit mom dead and her babies, that would make fimbulwinter feel way more dangerous and it would make kratos reflect his actions (killing baldur), also as i was saying, fimbulwinter should feel way more dangerous, with insane blizzards, barely unhabitable, except for GODS, the mysterious lumberjack and his teenage sons, there could be sections of midgard that you could go into in the previous game, that are now full of snow covering the paths and entrances, plus insane wind in those places. Svartalfheim, it should be way more dark (in terms of dynamics), there should be slavery and high prices and opression, we only saw a glimpse of it, also once again, it should have more and bigger villages, with tons of dwarfs, even kids, you've also already fixed some of the problems i have with svartalfheim feeling empty, thank you. Alfheim i would keep the same but with more underground war based maybe inspired by real world wars, and while walking in alfheim, you could see elfs fighting in the unreachable area hills, like far away, but you would only see it sometimes, but thats just from a worldbuilding point of view, it doesn't need any major changes, the design is beautiful. Muspelheim i would keep the same, except in terms of design, this would not affect gameplay but it would look uninhabitable as hell, my pick would be taking lots and lots of inspiration from mustafar (star wars planet), and in creatures i would take inspiration from muspelheim in thor ragnarok, dragons and dead warriors, and in visual effects i would totally add heat waves. jotunheim i would change that it is losing resources and since there is less resources, there should be an area that has more resources so that causes stakes since the surviving giants are slowly approaching the centre of that area each day that passes, that being plantations from angrbodas family, that would be amazing stakes. And i wouldn't change Niflheim.
Sorry that this is all very crammed together and not organized at all, i just wrote it as i remembered my fixes that i'd thought of months ago. In the future i could dive more on how i would fix angrbodas character as a whole, and setting if you want. I could also dive into how i'd change the design of certain characters and environments in the future, but still, rafael grasseti is a bless from god, his art and designs are amazing, any design that i don't like is mostly because of the direction they wanted to go for the character and what they told raf, and i like 95% of the designs, it's just nitpicks. Also, you could just call me the Also Guy at this point 🤷♂
I like the atreus/paul atreides characterization it also works surprisingly well for atreus

I'm really liking Freya here. She actually feels like an actual grieving mothe with a queen's power. I also much love this version of Vanaheim. It feels incredibly mystical, like a mythological kingdom has to.
I also like Kratos and Atreus here. They're both grotesque manifestations of chaos, just in opposite spectrums.
Glad you like the ideas bro! I feel like with Freya I didn’t want to really change her character or arc but to only change when it happens. (Which is more towards the end of the game in this rewrite)

Suggestions:
Have scene where fryea and atrues are in thier bird form and have Atreus fly from the left and land to the right and fryea fly from the right and land to the left (like an X) then the both pull thier bows quickly and shoot. One yells "alka!" The other "skyalfa!" Or not. It's be so cool either way
another suggestion: i think odin should discover ironwood, for bigger stakes that is, and i feel like angrboda lives too calmly, as if she doesn't have a whole army that will gut her if they find ironwood, and i also don't think she should be as happy, she should be more serious and cautions and with maybe some trauma, and also a little bit of inspiration from chani in the dune movies. Another also, i also think there should be a plotpoint that there are less resources in ironwood each day that passes, implying that she can't stay there forever, in purpose of more stakes.
Hmmm I had something similar in mind to this. But I didn’t think of that lack of resource idea. Would make since since Odin killed the giants and probably destroyed most of the land
And fimbulwinter could be getting stronger and stronger, so much that it's already reaching other realms, freezing the land, so that may also be a reason for the giants getting closer to ironwood@@TheNaturex20

suggestion (please use it 😭🙏): asgard feels too empty in the games, there should be way more life outside of the walls, i would've loved if it was inspired by arcane, like the poor live in zaun, and the rich live across the bridge. I also think that asgard's empire should feel way more terrifying, maybe inspired by the depiction of the galactic empire (star wars) in andor. The army should be going outside the walls to maintain order through opression, and anybody who said anything slightly against odin's ideas should get punished, like hanging or slavery. Also asgard feels too bland and small inside the gates, could take inspiration from attack on titan, and there should be creatures flying constantly, the walls should be way more protected, heimdall could have his legion of soldiers up there, asgard should have way more life and in my opinion, it should feel like there's only drunk rich people who gamble a lot inside the walls
I think that New Midgard was the poor people place cause they were outside the walls. I see what you mean about the blandness and the lack of danger. Odin probably designed it that way to make himself look more like a good guy and make Atreus feel more welcome.
Norse mythology influenced my fanfics' structure greatly. A strong point of my fics is that they're set in the same section of multiverse, so they can influence each other at any point, especially after three powerful dimensional entities performed their respective wish. A main wish that used two side wishes to reach as much multiverse as possible.
If I had to draw a map of it though, it wouldn't look like a tree. It'd look like a human body and its anatomy. I hope my stories reach someone somehow, like yours is reaching me.
Seems like a very interesting concept. A Multiverse that’s shaped like a humanoid would put more emphasis on the concept of life being unified one form entirely instead of multiple separate entities.

Personal theory, I think the real reason Basil framed Mari's suicide was his way to call for help. To unconciosly send a message. If it's true, and he already had issues prior to that, I think he unconsciously realized that was his way of getting back at whatever was hurting him. Because I think he was actually aware. Aware of the conditions the group was living in. Mari was his spacegoat. I think I'll explore this in my fic.

Ok, second and last comment im gonna make on this video(I swear) I think that Forseti could be a really big part in Odin's plans to mainipulate the team to not fight.
If he could have Atreus interact with Forseti and then becoming friends, Atreus would tell Freya about him(Forseti is Freya's grandson) and it could be a big factor as to why they might be hesitant to start Ragnarok.
I get the feeling Athena and Vali are still gonna make an appearance. Perhaps the Sisters of Fate too. Now the question is, do they want Odin's possessions, or see Ginunganag ?
In your finale, how long would your version of ragnarok be compared to the game
I think it could either be even or slightly longer. But I don’t think there would be a significant difference in length. What I mostly did was switch the chronological order of events that happen.

Valley's hatred is palpable and kinda relatable. Though in my case, I manifest it through writing. "Kingdom Hearts" and "Omori" in particular. Of all midia forms I saw, they represent best what I'm angry at. There are others, but I don't think none represents the anger with as much accuracy.
Sorry for the vent. Engaging "Omori" stuff does that to me sometimes. But this helps. You know ? The characters from this rewrite could teach the cast from "Omori" some stuff. I don't think they truly understand just how toxic the environment they live in is. It's because of environments like that, monsters like young Kratos and Valley are created.
Facts. A similar thing can be said for Thor and Baldur, which is why Vali’s motivations are different.

@@TheNaturex20 get to it how ? A rewrite ? Well, regardless, you won't regret getting into it. Though I do think some of the messages are wrong. The entirety of "KH 2" pretty much defends slavery and genocide, and "KH 3" cements it. I saw some hope in "Dream Drop Distance", but now I must wait for 4, hoping things will get back on track from there.

I hope the final battle with Thor is Brutal but cinematic where both are beat to hell by the end and neither one winning with Thor and Thrud both joining up with us if not then just Thor would be cool, the fight should be like a God of War 3 type fight anf both should end up having a drawl while flying and hitting each other so hard that they end up opening reaml tears and fighting in different realms like starting off in like Midgard then phase 2 on the floating Islands of Vaneheim and ten phase 3 in Nidavalier and the final stage being in Midgard agin or the realm between realms at the end both loosing their weapons as they were destroyed during the battle and either Kratos loosing an arm after Thor figures out that’s how he keeps making more drapnit but Thor lossing one too after it gets cut off by the blades in the end Kratos and Thor fight with one arm each Kratos using his a single blade of Chaos and Thor sui g one og his gauntlets, the fight ends in a draw

Since you're moving the norns segment to later on in the story, will Atreus be with Kratos instead of Freya, since in the original he was with Freya while visiting the norns because Atreus was in asgard? Idk i thought it would be much better with Freya instead of Atreus... Or are you gonna get atreus kidnapped and suffer from the snake's venomous acid, like in the myth

Surtr is hella fascinating in Norse Mythology. Definitely a lot more we could do with him. But I didn’t have anything specific in mind just yet.

Also, i think since he'll be inspired by palpatine, he could have some master chess plan, like a plot twist, and they all almost die inside by realising what he has planned. but he is outricked by atreus with another master plan that no one knew, begginning his journey as the god of mischief, or since thor will be inspired by vader, he kills odin, or maybe a mix of both ideas... idk yet what i'd do, but i'm eager to see your take in the finale of the second game
