I love your integrity when you said,".... it's not for sale;not now-not ever"💕.....in this money-clinching world you have stayed to your values & ethos, that makes you a phenomenal human being.
Good for you, JCH. That's a great camera you have there and as you are dedicated at what you do you deserve it and deserve it and deserve it!!! And I am not jealous!!!!!!
Vintage guitars like Stratocaster are often prized for their wear so it’s good to see this camera being lovingly used, scars and all. I have a black Nikon F3T which is in fairly good condition except for the corners where the paint has worn away completely to reveal the silvery tones of the titanium. You can’t see it unless you view it from the sides and I think it’s pretty cool 😎.
Thank you Mr Hunt, absolutely stunning camera! Beautiful soft release and strap by the way .. very nice of you to show your personal camera, thanks again! Cheers!
Congrats. A superb camera. My favorite Leica so far. Started with a silver chrome M5, then came the silver chrome M8 (one of my most used and loved camera by now), added later a silver chrome M9-P for the fullframeness and just bought a original M4 for a nice price. The M8 remains stellar in rendering DNGs.
Dear Bellamy, I swear, one day I'll buy myself a MP. I can't afford a MP-6, but the "regular" black paint MP is more than enough for me. I'm dreaming about the MP for so long and hope to get it next year.
This is also my dream camera but the price is way out of my range these days. I have an M6 classic that has been blacked out completely which is also "my" camera and will likely never be sold, however I would like to add an M4-P as a second body and run the M6 as a main with a 50mm and either a 28 or 35 on the M4-P.
A year later and I still find myself coming back to watch this video at random times! haha. Beautiful camera! I recently found a black paint rewind crank for my black chrome MP. Been looking for one for years as well. Anyway, always enjoy your videos! -Jordan.
There is a certain feeling in something you know you will never sell, and the leica is a beautiful camera. I have a Zenit B, which while it's a low end slr, is in absolutely perfect condition , and relatively early as a 1972 model making it substantially older than me. I'll never sell it.
Hi Bellamy, Would be really cool to learn more about the M-Hexanon lenses. Also, the various L-Hexanon lenses, and the famed UC-Hexanon 35mm. And finally that Hexar chrome lens that is a direct copy of the Hexar AF lens. Anyway, there you go - that should keep you busy! Best, David
Bellamy! Aloha from Hawaii, Please make a video on the Leica MP-3 ! one of my favs ! Awesome to see your youtube debut ! Keep up the wonderful work ! Regards and Aloha to the family !
Very nice looking camera and you have put it into good use. I own a M6 for my film photography, I still haven’t found a justification to sell my M6 to fund my upgrade to a MP. I keep telling myself, it’s the photo that matters. What are your thoughts on this? Should I sell my M6 Titanium and upgrade to a film MP?
I use a Leica M3 and M2. Slightly beaten up but don't care. Easy to lug to school and when I don't need macro or super wide, I prefer RF shooting over SLR's.
Such a nice camera had no idea they even existed, my dream camera is a Leica M6….. Seems so far out of reach! Especially how much they are going for now! have a few cameras they used to belong to family members, might have to sell them to even come close to affording one. But i don’t wanna part with them because of the sentimental value. jus gotta keep saving whatever i can
Hello! Do you know if I can find some places in Tokyo or other parts of Japan who provide a professional services to repair or clean and re-lubricate Leica lens or cameras? Also any recommendation on the Labs in Tokyo area would be greatly appreciated. Best regards. Keep the channel grow.
I love seeing a rare camera like this not being kept on a shelf!
"People mark you as a Leica wanker" hahahaha
Most leica owners are Wankers !
@@carforumwanker ouch🔥I enjoy the camera that's all.

Thank you!
Awesome to see the brassing and patina. The marks of use on a camera put through its paces often.
It has been all over the world and put through a lot. It was new when I got it. Every mark was earned. Cheers.
Good for you, JCH. That's a great camera you have there and as you are dedicated at what you do you deserve it and deserve it and deserve it!!! And I am not jealous!!!!!!
Thank you very much!
A cool video series you got going! I'm still enjoying my MP that you sourced for me back in 2012 and it's going strong.

Loved this! I just got my M8 and absolutely love it. The start of a Leica obsession.

Last year I got a new MP, and this year a like-new Leicavit and matching rewind crank. Now I just need the Millennium 35 cron!
Glad you're posting again! Would love to see in-depth gear discussions like that one you did before with Mijonju!
Noted! It would be good to do something like that in the future.
Thanks
Absolutely loved this, Bellamy.
Thanks Matt, I really appreciate it.
Great video as ever. A camera to aspire to! Always happy to see your videos on my feed!

I like the patina. Reminds me of the gold brassing on my Canon F-1.

Lovely camera Bellamy, love these short you tube video's

Perfect amount of wear. Looks so nice!

Love the videos, keep it up! The MP-6 looks amazing.
Thanks! Will do!
Leica Wanker, huh sound like a T Shirt theme to wear proudly.
I bought an SL2. I'm surprised it didn't have one in the box. Or at least a card with the info where I could buy one.
Beautiful camera.
“Doubles as a weapon.” 😂😂😂 solid observation
Beautiful camera, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching
Does that ultra thick camera strap help distribute the weight better? I’ve been looking for something like that to help with neck fatigue, any recs?
Awesomenessss
One day I will own one!
Think the mp6’s 6 stand for the number of framelines in the camera:28 35 50 75 90 135... the mp3 only has 3 frame lines 35 50 90
Was wondering, where did you get the chrysanthemum seal shutter button from? That looks really beautiful!
It was made by Jay Tsujimura. Please check the video description for a link.
''Tis a thing of beauty indeed.
Precisely why I kept it. Thanks
Looking good Bellamy
Thank you!
Beautiful. i was just thinking about getting a leicavit. work well? keep the vids coming Bellamy, very cool and good to see Japan.
I use a Leica M3 and M2. Slightly beaten up but don't care. Easy to lug to school and when I don't need macro or super wide, I prefer RF shooting over SLR's.
Where did you get the crossbody strap that holds the film? It looks super handy!!

Please do the M5!
Good idea. I shall do one when one comes in.
@@japancamerahunter and maybe this camera will finaly get the love that it deserves
A good video. It improved my day.
Nice camera and good video . What is the strap brand name - the one with slots for films ? Thanks Daniel from France
That is the strap for the Ona Bowery JCH special edition. Unfortunately they have now sold out. Thanks

Legend.
Mr Hunt, can you tell me what strap that is that you’re using in this killer beaut of a camera please?
I still want to know where you get that camera strap 😩 I need pleaseee
So the 6 has nothing to do with the M6 (especially the Millennium edition)?
"Doubles and a weapon and people mark you as a Leica wanker!" Blighty humour! ;)
Where did you get the strap with canister holders?
Nice videos, keep them comming
Thanks, will do!
Almost as nice as my black MX with the winder and the Pentax-M 28/2.0... 😭📷
Where does one get such a cool hot shoe cover?
Just wondering, do you use the Leicavit film advance or is it mainly for aesthetic reasons?
I do use it, though not all the time. Depends on the situation.
A Leica and a Speedmaster, what more could anyone want?
Ya
Love it
ok but where do I buy that masked Sharaku t-shirt
Check the video description for details. Thanks
Love the strap - where did you get it?
Thanks. It is a Monarch strap. Check the video description for a link.
Nicceeee. ‘6’ for six frame lines? ‘P’ original meant ‘Professional’? I read all that on wanker forums recently :)
That would probably make sense. I thought it was 'master pants - 6'
Leica wanker....lol Do you have any issues seeing the 35mm frame lines with glasses? I still find it an issue when I try rangefinder cameras. Thanks
Is that a Chrome Hearts shutter release button?!
Curtains match the carpet huh? I thought the trend was hard floors nowadays instead of carpet.
Definitely a grail of a camera. I use a M6 and M-A and really like my m-a. Made a review of it on my channel
I guess I'm a wanker as well, minus the 6
That looks like an utterly beautiful piece of engineering, who cares if it makes you look like a "Leica Wanker"?! haha
"Leica Wanker?" LOL! I've been called worse by my own mother!
Lock and load ..
"Leica Wanker" HA HA HA HA .... Love it!
Woah first comment. Glad Canada could come first, eh. Also... if you ever decided that the bullshit wasn’t worth it...I appreciate the honesty.
No Leica wanker would say "the carpets match the drapes". You're safe.
wouldn't even trade it for an original owner 5513 Rolex Sub meters first, w/box from 1970's?.....just kidding- I wouldn't part with the Submariner.
Every month my wife turns into a red dot wanker too.
Leica wanker 😵🤣🤣 great channel. Great content.
Thanks
Thief: it is an honor to be stabbed by a $5000 leica.
I guess I'm a Leica wanker too
I am a proud leica wanker
I hope thicc with two c’s
so very thicc
Love the content, but the camera work is a little too busy for my taste. Beautiful gear though and nice narration.
Fair enough!
Blurry......nonsense. that's Leica blur..... Wanker. 😂
Erm, does that mean you like it or you think I am a wanker?
