The best days of my life was the time when I was assigned in SULUT from 1991 to 1997.Those were the days I was able to savor the best foods in Manado,got to mingle with the beautiful and friendly people there.Seen those scenic spots on the mountains of Tondano,beaches of Bunaken.What a wonderful experience!
Loved your video. I have been to Jakarta and tried the Manado food at “Restoran Ikan Tude Manado”. The best food I ever had. I am an Indian, so I am all about spices and chillies. We regularly used to dine there and our standard was Ikan Maas Bakar, Ayam Rica Rica, Sambal dabu dabu, cah kang kung and rice.. omg heavennnnnn! I drool everytime i think about it. I so love Manado food. I am in US since 7 years and haven’t seen Manado food restaurants here. I so wish they had them here. I will definitely visit Manado in future.

my father was born in manado. my father is manadonese. everytime he went to manado he gave us biapong (manado steam bun pork with egg), nasi kuning manado (tumeric rice on leaf with cakalang fish). red bean ice,pork satay. much cheaper when you eat from warung or small business/restaurant where local people's open warung at their house. watching this video makes my mouth watering
