Max i'm gonna tell you about a Jollibee secret dessert item since you love their ice cream. Order 2 of their soft serve ice cream, just plain vanilla, no chocolate coating or even cone. It's just P10 each. Then order 1 peach mango pie, ask for a cup. Crush the pie along with the 2 servings of plain vanilla ice cream there and VOILA!!! Thank me once you've tried it! Haha! =)

I'm so happy that you chose to eat and feature those ordinary restaurants or small restaurant called "Carenderia", instead of going to the luxurious and expansive one, because most of the delicious food can be found in Carenderia. Expensive restaurants only famous because of their ambiance and designs, but definitely when it comes to food, Carenderia will match or equal or even surpass the food in those expensive restaurants. 💪💪💪👍👍👍💓

Max deserves to be as popular as Mark Wiens, Mikey Chen (Strictly Dumpling), The Food Ranger, and Sonny (TBEFRS). I mean the quality of content, his personality, and the way he describes food shows his passion. He's on par with them. Heck, even his spice tolerance compares to Mark Wiens and Mikey lol. I hope his channel gains more popularity and success in the future.

Q: Is this the best way to eat ...?
A: I would say that eating in a carinderia is the closest you can ever get to tasting local, authentic dishes. Not to mention the value worth more for your money. Every peso well spent. If you would dine in fancy restos & malls that's like trying "Tex-Mex" instead of authentic Mexican streetfood. And, nothing beats a coconut served fresh from the cariton. So refreshing!

My favorite is the bangus fish skin, which you discarded. The health food folks here in the US are just waking up to the great benefits of healthy animal fats, gelatin and collagen, found in bone broths, marrow, knuckles, legs, feet and skins. Snack on the crispy, salted egg flavored fish skins. It's keto-friendly and quite expensive here in the US. Highly sought out by the keto community.

I love it that you explored the eateries of the masses. Sure, we have fine dining and fast food in the Philippines but these carinderias, sometimes called turo-turo (which literally translates to point-point) is where you can truly experience the naked flavors of Pinoy food, next only to home-cooked meals. No fuss, no frills, just plain old honest-to-goodness nosh. 👍🏼 I’m afraid Bert might have gotten the idea that chomping on chili peppers 🌶 🌶 🌶 before having the first mouthful of grilled fare is a Pinoy thing. Nooooo. 😆 I believe it’s more of a Max thing! Just like slathering bagoong and chili oil on almost all edibles. 🤣 Once again, an engaging, entertaining and surely tempting food review! 👏🏼

Also you have the vinegar and kalamansi and pepper down and soy sauce, you even have your own bagoong and chili garlic oil. You’re legit!

You make me so hungry and crave for all those foods you’ve eaten. Also, I am amazed that you love bagoong in your dish. A lot of white people hate the smell of bagoong. You’re the second youtuber that I’ve seen in Aling Sosing Carinderia, I terribly missed eating there since I migrated. Happy eating guys!

You should try the ilonggo style bulalo - Kansi or Cansi at Pat-Pat's located at San Antonio Village near Zobel Roxas. It's sour taste (batuan fruit) enhances the bone marrow and beef flavor.

That Sausage is actually our entree this afternoon and its delicious! We cook it till its crispy and dip it with calamansi and some fish sauce! 💕💕💕👍
Its been a while since i last eaten Kansi! I remember it is in bacolod area and the boneless bangus is my personal favorite meal at work, they just have this special taste to it like no other that i would say the best bangus ive eaten so far! 💕😄
Tip on eating the bonemarrow please use straw to sip everything from the bone! 😁 im not joking! Haha 👍👍
