Not much you can do while being hypnotised... Plus, there's this frequency Tools using/making as if you're literally stoned, without taking anything... Tool doing all these things, combined in a unique way.. That's why ppl are not jumping around, or whatever... Same feeling, same ppls reaction on any Tool concert... Been on Tools concert... same thing, no matter where they're playing at... Youre automatically high, just by being there, just by listening, you know... In short.. You're literally high, while you're being hypnotised.. willingly... in a good way.. It's not for everyone... Greetings.

I get that you are young, but with time you will realize that people enjoy the same things differently. If you want to jump around and scream the lyrics, go right ahead. If you want to close your eyes and take it all in that way, then do that. There is a place for both.
In Europe Tool shows are different. The audience is rather calm and present here for the music and atmosphere of melancholic dive into the music, rather than for a live metal show experience. It would be best if you visited Berlin shows, I guess it is the greatest place for a European TOOL attendance.

Imagine if everyone tried to follow your logic and get right under the stage, it would be misable. I don't mind tight crowds on some concerts but here it was nice to have some space. Also the show as absolutely insane no matter where you stood :) And no, no video can give you the feeling this live show gave you even if you somehow found a bad spot to be in.
Maynard is one of the best live singers ever, man. Its so impressive. I hope I get to see them eventually, I probably could've but missed my chance.
