Richard, you are a wealth of humor, fishing techniques, tips and good times. I recently retired after 37 yrs of pipeline work when I rarely had time to fish, and your videos have been a great help in getting me caught up. Making up for lost time every chance I get..."because it's gooooood fer' ya'!"

So happy to see an angler bring the simplicity back to fishing. Who says you have to have a $50,000 rig full of electronic gizmos to have a ball. Well done as usual, Richard. And I'm glad to see you had no run ins with "no shoulders" because that looked like copperhead territory.

As a teen wade fishing was the most fun time's I had fishing in my life, I went wade fishing at least 3 or 4 times a week,. Me and whoever went with me would jump off into a creek of water that was anywhere from a couple feet deep up to neck deep at times. We fished mainly small rooster tails and we would normally catch about 10 to 15 bass and bream each within about two or 3 hours time on average. It was nothing unusual to catch 40 to 50 on good biting days, Thank you for bringing back such fun memories.

It is always such a pleasure to watch another. I am 67 years young and I live in Somerset Kentucky , so I do most of my fishing in Lake Cumberland, and its creeks and the river witch feed it. I have learned so much and gained so much confidence that I am catching more and bigger fish than I have in a long time. Thanks again for all that you teach us , and your fun to watch. I'm sorry but there are a lot of fishing videos that just play loud music and fish . Not my cup tea.

I to have this passion for creek fishing and fishing in general.
Really enjoy the simplicity of your approach to this sport.
Not sure what this quotes means but the words are beautiful very similar to good day on the creek.
Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it.
the river was cut by the world’s great floor and runs over rocks
from the basement of time. On some of those rocks are the timeless rain
drops. Under the rock are the words and some of the words are theirs.

Simplicity has helped me catch a ton more fish. I had a bunch of fancy lures that i worked hard to get better with. Though i could fish these lures well i just wasnt getting bites. I use 6 inch leader with size 1, 2, 8 or 10 baitholder hooks. I use small baitholders to catch live bait. With 2 splitshots 6 inches above where leader ties to main line. Also a 6 inch leader with size 1,2 6 8 or 10 baitholder hooks with a slip bobber and 2 splitshots below bobber where i want bobber to stop. A 2/0 or 3/0 superline ewg offset hook or a crappie jig or a dropshot. Also topwatee lures Berkeley choppo, wakebait kvd splash a spinner bait light weight and a wakebait. This is all i use. If i was lucky before with all these lures id catch maybe 2 fish. This was with a huge number of lures i use to use. Now, i catch a minimal or 6 or 7. Some days 12 plus fish. 😊😊❤ huge increase on fish catches. 🐟

Thank you Richard for the awesome videos. Also, thank you for the reminder of that fishing line. I emailed you about the fishing line i asked you. Thankfully, you showed the fishing line in your video. I looked it up and saved it to my phone to remember. 😊
