I believe Lebron was Adidas' biggest mistake not MJ. In 84 basketball sneakers were not that hot, MJ made it with Nike and I think it was the perfect marriage. If MJ went to Adidas and Adidas didn't made the same marketing strategies that Nike did then basketball sneakers may not have became popular. But in the 00's, now that basketball sneaker was already a thing, still Adidas messed-up with LBJ.
