    Be sure to add the salt & pepper to the balsamic vinegar, so the salt dissolves, then add the olive oil.

    I love the channel and all the recipes, but I'm amazed by the amounts of salt you always use in the recipes. A whole tablespoon of salt in this simple salad, that's like the max daily intake for one person! 😱

    • @jackiewinters5792
      @jackiewinters5792 6 лет назад +1

      +Sebastiaan Wildschut Salt is an absolute necessity when it comes to seasoning a dish! If it's too much for your liking/needs, then by all means adjust the recipe! After all, you're the one who's going to eat it... Might as well enjoy it. 🤗

    • @sebastiaan9390
      @sebastiaan9390 6 лет назад

      Oh totally agree, salt is needed when it comes to seasoning, but i just noticed things to be a bit excessive on the salt side, again, a tablespoon is the recommended daily intake for one person, and thats still on the high side. Putting one tablespoon in a salad, thats a bit past the point of necessity. ☺️

    • @jackiewinters5792
      @jackiewinters5792 6 лет назад

      +Sebastiaan Wildschut Perhaps she's like me... I tend to have a heavy hand when it comes to using salt... Lol. You don't want to know how much I go through in a day! 😋 But, yes, I totally understand what you're saying & agree. Again, always use your judgement when making a recipe & make it according to your liking/needs. 😊

      The Stay At Home Chef Wow. I just happened to search for ‘tomato salad’ and watched her video first. Then this one. It’s the same video to a T. They could’ve atleast gave credit where they got it from. That’s not a good look for her. Smh

      @@miltb758 I’m pretty sure this recipe is not just hers! It’s a pretty basic recipe, not to discredit the work that she did!! But it was known of before she made the video! 😄
