    The Hebrew word for rest is like when we would say in court "I rest my case"... it's an expression of completion and satisfaction....not weakness!

    Haaa! That's me at 6:31 ;)~ ..I asked a playful question and I got a playful answer! lol!..LOVE IT!..Take it easy on Chuck brothers and sisters..his heart is so tenderized now in his sunset years, and very sensitive. Confused questions, and worse-cynical questions, are flaming arrows into his beautiful soul, now deeply wounded. Strengthen him with joyful and pithy enquiries. Love ya! :o)

      The old Chuck is back. Yes he has been through very much. Praying God will allow him to continue to teach, for selfish reasons> to continue to teach us, and to gain new souls for Christ, and to redirect the lost ones. Thank you Father for giving us this man to help us understand your Word better, and to be an example for us.( Christ in us.)

      Daniel 12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
      He reminds me of Daniel. You Chuck will have a prominent place in God's Kingdom, forever:)
      Good question BTW. My take on it is the picture of the 1000 year reign. it will be rest from death, sickness, sin, evil, hatred, confusion, lawlessness, murder, pain, selfishness and on and on...

    There's a fascinating detail about Ez 38-39 that no one has recognized. Many who insist the Gog & Magog are Russia make much about the "remotest parts of the north" phrase used and claim that means Russia as the farthest north. However, they don't actually investigate that phrase in Hebrew. The most often meaning is "flank, sides, recesses, border and coast". The Caucasus mountains are the geographic northern boundary of Asia minor. The sides and plateaus of these were populated with horse-riding Scythians in the time of Ezekiel and were the mortal enemies of the Assyrians. This area is present day Georgia and which happens to be the birth place of the current Turkish president - Erdogan. Ya, that's a pretty significant bit of information.

    I asked the Lord this question about the age of accountability. And then I remember the first time I told a lie and I knew it was a lie, and it was wrong and I did it anyways. That was the age I became accountable. I remember that very clearly even though I was probably three years old. Ask God, and I’m sure he will show you the very first time you remember sinning or disobeying your parents. That is when you became accountable. I think it varies for different people according to your understanding or mental awareness.

    Chuck... you were talking about dreams and I want to tell you that I had a dream one night that was very disturbing and very vivid. The next night I had the exact same dream... both times it woke me up out of sleep and very disturbing both times. The third morning the reality of that dream took place. It happened just exactly as the two dreams I had. I remember the dream in detail to this day. It was not your normal dream but very vivid. If you ever have one like this it will be very different than what you normally have.

  • @Alaina420ful
    @Alaina420ful 8 лет назад +1

    In the O.T. God holds children of 21 or 20 years and older is accountable for their sins based on the age of people who were kept alive & allowed to enter into the Promised Land. Mister & many Christian Preachers-Yeachers should know this.

    • @mountaintruth1
      @mountaintruth1 8 лет назад

      It is not a matter of physical age, it is doing wrong (sinning) knowingly and doing it anyway even if not a Christian. This depends on each individual and awareness of moral responsibility which is written on the heart. for me it was about age twelve and I wasn't born again until I was about 40years old.

    • @Alaina420ful
      @Alaina420ful 8 лет назад +2

      mountaintruth1 All I can share with you is that story where God, not you or I determined the age of where God holds a person accountable. He didn't say they did or did not know they were aware of sinning but when HE held them accountable. You say you were aware of your sinning since you were 12, well, God didn't hold you accountable until you were 20, according to that story. Your parents or caretakers would have been held accountable. Ergo, which people were allowed in to the Promised Land vs. those God killed off. Take it up with God if you have an issue as I didn't determine the age.

    • @mountaintruth1
      @mountaintruth1 8 лет назад

      I have no issue, I just don't believe it is a predetermined age. it is not man's law like a drivers license or legal drinking age. Time is not really the issue it is the condition of the heart and soul. Plenty of accountability happens before 20, at least in my experiences in life and I don't just mean for me personally.

    • @Alaina420ful
      @Alaina420ful 8 лет назад +1

      mountaintruth1 You're missing the point. I didn't determine the age where God starts holding any of us accountable for us sinning. God did. You say you have no issue but since you disagree with God then you DO have an issue. Godin't denying that you sinned or committed some evil act or wicked crime but HE doesn't hold YOU accountable UNTIL you are 20, ACCORDING to that story of the Jews entering into the promised Land with Joshua & Caleb, who, it seems were the only people(well, maybe their wives & children too???) over 20 to be allowed to go. So, to GOD, not to me, the age DOES have a LOT to do with this issue. Even if at 7 you intentionally, killed someone with full pleasure God isn't holding that child accountable. And obviously if one accidentally does something, let's take a VERY simple example. John accidentally breaks an entire set of fine china dishes but Ellen deliberately breaks 1 dish to hurt the dish owner. Ellen, due to the condition of her heart & soul is MORE accountable then John. Now, take another situation, The male Adam who was placed over his wife, the female Adam( God never called her Eve, but called her Adam as well) was responsible for her sin. Eating of the fruit btw wasn't the original sin. Go back, read all of the early Gen. chapters. Adam was given Rule over this planet & told to subdue it & the enemy. He was given the next command about the tree & fruit and was to give it to his wife, Eve, (the female Adam). Together they were to both subdue the enemy. They were also both already naked but did not know this & were unashamed. Nakedness equals unrighteous. Scriptures say we are each drawn away by our own lusts & it does not ever say that Adam ate the fruit to give up his life sacrificially for Eve. God is also fair and we would have passed the test if either one of them, but especially the male Adam called on God or called on Christ or relied on them to tell Satan to leave the garden & helped Eve to say No. And tell her why to say no. Adam could have prevented Eve from eating, he could have corrected her regarding the Scripture word. Notice too that God does NOT intervene until AFTER the male Adam makes his choice and action. God held Adam more accountable then Eve. Adam threw his wife under the bus because he WANTED to be LIKE God. This is sad because he & all of humanity were already like God & were going to live forever. We could have been doing Quantum Physics in the Garden.

    Ron Matsen: You ask where in the Bible does it talk about the age of accountability. Check out Is.7:10-17. Ahaz is given a sign about when his enemies will be dealt with. When a prophesied child is born and then is old enough to determine "good from evil", then his enemy Israel will be wiped out. This happened when the child was 12 years old (II Kings 17:1-6).
    This is the most tricky part of the chronology of the divided kingdom dates in Scripture. Almost all translations of Old Testament say II Kings 17:1 happened in the 12th year of Ahaz. But actually it should be translated that Israel's king Hoshea reigned until the 12th year of Ahaz - the year Assyria carted off Israel into exile.
    Also, Lk 2:41-51, when Jesus was 12 years old and states that He is responsible at that age to be functioning in the role that the Father had set up for Him to do.

    The Scripture is quite clear regarding this issue:
    What about the spiritual condition of those who have never heard the gospel message? (infants, the severely mentally challenged, and the heathen)
    Biblical truth #1. All people (including infants, the severely mentally challenged, and the heathen) are lost sinners and in need of salvation
    Psalm 14:3 All have turned aside, they have together become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one.
    Psalm 51:5 Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.
    Psalm 143:2 Do not bring your servant into judgment, for no one living is righteous before you.
    Proverbs 20:9 Who can say, "I have kept my heart pure; I am clean and without sin"?
    Eccles. 7:20 There is not a righteous man on earth who does what is right and never sins.
    Isaiah 64:6 All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away.
    Romans 3:9-12 What shall we conclude then? Are we any better? Not at all! We have already made the charge that Jews and Gentiles alike are all under sin. As it is written: "There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God. All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one."
    Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
    Romans 5:12 Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned--
    1 Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.
    Galatians 3:22 But the Scripture declares that the whole world is a prisoner of sin, promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe.
    Ephesians 2:1 As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins,
    Ephesians 2:3 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath.
    Biblical truth #2. There is no salvation without faith in Christ
    John 3:18 Whoever BELIEVES in him is not condemned, but whoever does not BELIEVE stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.
    John 3:36 Whoever BELIEVES in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him."
    John 10:9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved.
    John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
    Acts 4:12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."
    Acts 16:30-31 He then brought them out and asked, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?"
    They replied, "BELIEVE in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved--you and your household."
    Romans 3:26 he did it to demonstrate his justice at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have FAITH in Jesus.
    Romans 3:28 For we maintain that a man is justified by FAITH apart from observing the law.
    Romans 10:9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and BELIEVE in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
    Romans 10:13 for, "Everyone who CALLS on the name of the Lord will be saved."
    Ephesians 2:8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through FAITH--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God
    Biblical truth #3. There is no faith in Christ, and therefore no salvation, without first hearing the gospel message
    Acts 11:13-14 He told us how he had seen an angel appear in his house and say, 'Send to Joppa for Simon who is called Peter. He will bring you a message through which you and all your household will be saved.'
    Acts 13:48 When the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and honored the word of the Lord; and all who were appointed for eternal life believed.
    Acts 18:9-10 One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision: "Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent. For I am with you, and no one is going to attack and harm you, because I have many people in this city."
    Romans 10:9-17 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame." For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile--the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!" But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. For Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed our message?" Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.
    2 Timothy 2:10 Therefore I endure everything for the sake of the elect, that they too may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory.
    SUMMARY: No conversion--no salvation! No exceptions!
    Hearing of the gospel, and subsequent conversion (faith & repentance) are absolutely essential to salvation. All of the elect must hear the gospel and believe it--there are no exceptions.

    I'm so glad that Mr. Missler made the point about the rich man being conscious while he was in torment because of a major point of Jonah being alive in the belly of the whale. It's viewed as a miracle because he was supposedly alive, which is why he was able to pray to God while in there. However, when you read his prayer, he "cried out from the belly of SHEOL."
    Jesus said, Himself that, "AS JONAH WAS three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, SO (or in like manner) will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth." This is important because the gospel hinges on the fact that Jesus was DEAD for three days and three nights. Jonah was dead and then brought back to life.

    In Genesis it says that Adam was naked but not ashamed. This is pure allegory. “Nakedness” is not possessing a fulfilled revelation of the Love of God. When Adam bought into the lying suggestion that God is withholding from Adam a wisdom and glory like His, it was then that Adam became conscious of his “nakedness” and became “ashamed” of it (when he did not need to) and sought to obtain a wisdom and glory like God’s to cover (meet what he mistakenly believed God was withholding from him) his nakedness. He presumed to do so in and through his humanity in a potential possessed apart from God (which is an impossibility for all exist in God). In this way Adam sought to cover his “nakedness” (which he did not need to do) with a wisdom and glory like God’s but obtained through human works (which he did not need to and which he could not do, for it’s an impossibility).
    The Law was added because of Adam’s presumption. The Law was designed to teach Adam why his thinking was fallacious (why is was an impossibility) and that it actually served to frustrate the wisdom and glory of God.
    Unfortunately, instead of learning from the the Law (it was Adam’s guardian and
    schoolmaster) its harsh lessons notwithstanding, Adam continued to seek to obtain
    a wisdom and glory like God’s through human works. The Law spoke to these works
    and condemned them. Consequently, Adam’s conscience was always afflicting him. Adam’s presumption stood in the absence of a full revelation of the fulness of Love of God, within which, at the beginning, he had yet to evolve (hence, why he was “naked and unashamed”).
    So, God began to unfold to the mind of Adam the revelation of the knowledge of
    the Love of God. God did this through the gospel revealed through the types and
    figures of the Law and the Prophets. These all met their fulfilment in the person
    of Jesus Christ in whom was manifest the fulfilled revelation of the Love of
    God. God through Jesus gifted to Adam the wisdom and glory of God that he had
    hitherto unwisely and vaingloriously sought through human works. Jesus Christ
    was Adam’s hope of wisdom and glory until he “attained” wisdom and glory as Son
    of God in and of his own right, once perfected as a Son of God.
    The wisdom and glory of Christ was appropriated through faith in Christ’s name. This wisdom and glory was now Adam’s “covering”. It was gifted him to “hide his nakedness” and to remove any “shame” he felt (but which he did not need to). With this “covering” Adam no longer felt any lack, and no longer felt any “shame” of “nakedness”.
    Adam obtained a wisdom and glory like God’s but now it was as it should be-i.e.
    in and through God’s potential (which had “all possibilities”) and not in and through
    the presumption of a human potential perceived apart from God (which had no possibilities).
    This is why Jesus Christ was the “end” (goal and completeness) of the Law and
    Prophets for Adam in seeking to obtain a wisdom and glory like God’s (through the
    works of the Law). This is how God destroyed the “wisdom” of the “world” of
    Adam and its standing before Him, in that identity.
    Now, if in the above you substitute “Adam” for Ancient Israel, “presumption”
    for sin, and “wisdom and glory” for righteousness, then I think and you will see how this explanation fits well with the testimony of Israel’s ancient scripture.

    Revelation is to warn the believer of the judgement of God and not only to warn but explain what is about to happen. "Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it? 7.Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. 8.The lion hath roared, who will not fear? the Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy? Jonah said Nineveh would be destroyed in 40 days unless they repented. VERY VERY specific. Did not Jesus say "“Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time? It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns."
    Revelation 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book.
    If you ADD a rapture to the begining of the Tribulation AND IT IS NOT THERE, the people are not prepaired and will starve to death or even worse get a lethal dose of radiation. Is that person teaching that false Rapture guilty of anything? I say prepair, and am very specific about the threat because this is not only LIFE OR DEATH it is your flesh falling off over a period of up to 48 days. I am sorry, but this is the World we live in and this is "the Judgement". Being specific is practising witchcraft??? I do not agree. "What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops."
    According to the 7 kings of Revelation timeline the USA will be nuked in aprox. 6 months (a nation at peace defeated in one hour). The largest loss of life ever, past or present due to war. The Abomination of Desolation-the destruction of the true Church. Repent and prepare your heart! Here is the rumor of wars... It could be the the verses you see in the Bible that say the Church is gone pre-trib is not a rapture.

    • @Alaina420ful

      Trydar Durakhar That title is different then the first Adam. The first Adam failed to do what he was able to do. This is because he was made from dirt outside of Eden and he represents, he symbolizes not Christ but the unsaved, unregenerate, soulful controlled nature of unspiritual man. Since God always provides a Godly way to avoid sinning why then would Adam who KNOWINGLY sinned because of his own lusts to have what Eve now had be a model of Christ? Christ went sinless to the cross. Adam ate the fruit of disobedience & pride from his own lustful nature. WHERE in THAT is a Biblical model of Christ? Adam was made from earth outside of the Garden of Eden. Eve and the Eden animals were made inside of Eden. Eve was the only creation not made directly from earth but -and HERE is where, before the fall mind you, Adam typifies Christ. Adam was put into a deep sleep, ("death"), Eve was created from his side, just as the born again, New Creation Jew & Gentile become saved in Christ. Adam's later deliberate choosing to sin had NOTHING to do with any self sacrificing, Christ like desire or behavior. The biblical way, the way Christ did it was to depend on the Holy Spirit Power to enable Him to succeed. He of course was already IN Christ & He did only what He saw His Father do. Our sinning or not sinning would never have made us righteous, we still would have had to eat of the tree of Life to become IN Christ & have Christ IN us and we would have had to rely on the power of the Holy Spirit. It ISN'T the Tree of the knowledge of Good vs. the Tree of the Knowledge of Evil, meaning good outside of being IN Christ doesn't count either. It was the Tree of the Knowledge of Good & evil, (sources outside of Christ & other then Christ) vs. the Tree go LIFE. Life is therefore different then goodness. It is about being IN Christ. What the first earthborn, sourish, unregenerate Adam did was from human nature when is unable to do or be like God. No Godly sacrificial love there at all, not Christ like at all.

      ***** It matters. No, 2 people can be at the same place, same time in front of the same person without both of them being decided. It matters greatly because many men wrongly believe that sin came in to this world through Eve when it was Adam. Even Paul in the N.T. states it was through one man, Adam. Women have been blamed & hated by men for all of our history based on this error. If anything is implied it should be that Adam wouldn't even protect his wife & later he threw her under the bus in front of God blaming her, not himself. It matters because almost every Christian fails to realize that first commandment broken wasn't the eating of the fruit but the failure to be a ruler, ordering Satan to shut up & leave and that Eve was created to help Adam fight Satan & defeat him. We were created not only to walk with God in the cool of the day in personal, intimate fellowship & friendship with God/Christ, as Christ's Companion but to be Warriors for God to defeat Satan & his armies, to Establish The Kingdom of God & His Righteousness & His Government down here on Earth. None of this is taught but what is taught & preached pathetically is that we are powerless, meant to bend over taking it up our asses while singing a praise son, blaming God for having to give Satan permission for everything he does to us. TOTALLY unscriptural and that women are to be kept dumfuck, barefoot, pregnant, never ever correcting a man, to be servicing him whenever and oh, that God did not create ALL of mankind to be saved, but only a few Fundamentalists & that healing & deliverance aren't for today. A Gospel without power. It take no faith to remain sick. So, yes, it all matters.

      Any human unit, (more than one) must have a leader and that is the nature of Creation given to humanity. God chose to make the man that leader. It is interesting to note, that nothing happened when Eve ate some apple/fruit of wisdom. It wasn't until Adam joined her rather than lead her into righteousness that they both changed and became guilty.
      This in no way delegitimizes women, it is just the decision that was made, (someone had to be the leader and ultimately responsible for the family unit). The Bible is full of examples of God using women when men were lacking, so it is evident he loves both equally.

    • @Alaina420ful
      @Alaina420ful 8 лет назад

      Rollin Shultz If you are replying to me, I never said women were denigrated because her husband was over her. Personally, I LOVE that half the race right off the bat is far more accountable then I am. I Love that my husband is more accountable for my sins then I am. Pastors, Teachers, Preachers, Men in positions of Power & Authority? BRING IT ON. Who wants to be Spiritually Responsible & Accountable for Churches full of people who give away their own accountability, responsibility & power? Not me that is sure. ..... It is because God placed her husband over her that exonerates Eve from being the one who is held responsible for bringing sin into this world. It was Adam's job & responsibility for what Eve did. This is why God waited to see what Adam would do. He failed Eve several times in this situation. Men have been failing women ever since. It is deplorable that Missler is one of those who twist scripture all around to make it sound like Adam did something Godly & wonderful out of Sacrificial Love by joining Eve. I expect him to know better. Adam, not Eve is responsible for bringing sin into this world both because he was over her & because, out of the lusts of his own heart he KNOWINGLY ate so she wouldn't be the only one whose "eyes" were opened. Adam sure didn't want Eve having something he didn't have. But instead of calling out for God to show up or commanding Satan to leave, he eats the fruit then throws Eve under the bus. NOT Christ like at all.

    "The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD."
    The context being the Lord's anger toward false prophets that lead and advise people on the back of their own dreams or claims of dreams. I may have that wrong, I am no scholar, but I take the point to mean that the Word is to be our rudder and not the dreams of ourselves or any other.

    why do you think that the Creator Almighty felt compelled to make another man on the 8th day because he had a whole creation to choose from which he made male and female on the sixth day.? any put Adam in a garden of which the Creator planted himself and gave him the commandant not to eat of the tree even before Eve was even made. although she knew about the Commandment and did mess around with Satan and seemingly had two children one from Satan and one from Adam. Cain killed Abel and God put a mark on Cain and sent him to a land to where there were already people there and he took a wife. so seemingly we have a lot of Satan's prodigy running around today. would anybody like to address this

When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.. when our heavenly father wanted to talk to Adam and Eve and they hid themselves because they were afraid they put the Fig leaves over their private parts because they knew they were naked they didn't put a fig Leaf over their mouth from eating an apple as you have been told. signed I'm confused

    ok heres a truth,israel is not in a geographical area,no boundries no borders.Im a jew in otherwords I accept Jesus as the SON of GOD.If you are in Christ then you are part of the inheritance.Those who dont understand how to interpret phrophecy will never understand this.WHY? Simple anyone remember the RABBINIC curse,no most have never heard of it.The rabbis didnt want anyone understanding the 2300 year prophecy where the jew is cut off at 490 years.They say your fingers will rot.So if you know where Jesus is you understand prophecy correctly.Where two or three gather is he there which means anyone who accepts Jesus is born again of Abrahams seed not on the hagar side which is the Jerusalem now still in bondage but in the Issac seed born in spirit.FREE that is.Armageddon to is going to be between those who are clothed correctly and those who are naked.Im in with Jesus my faith is SEALED therefore I wear his righteousness.As Adam and Eve did before sin they wore the light of righteousness not clothing from dead animals.Most of you wont understand much of what I just articulated if you do then you have the "TRUTH" and it will set you free,most know this saying but have no clue what the truth is.If you who think Jerulsalem is in a geographical location as you think Israel is your not there yet and need more studying in order to see his kingdom.You see it takes work to inherit the promises but when you do youll see what I mean.If not Im a nut in which case confirms my thinking as I am at enmity with the world not GOD as most are.

    When did adam sin The best calculation I have seen so far is:on the 1st of Tishrei 0, Today's date is 2nd of Tammuz 5776. So according to the calendar given to us by "The All Mighty" on the 3rd of October 2016 at 6pm Australian time Adam & Eve were politely told to get out of the garden 5777 years ago.
    That would approximately make it roughly about 3761 BC.
    We have no clue how long Adam & Eve had lived or been alive in the Garden before then. Adam & Eve didn't start to Age until they sinned.
    So a year after they left the Garden they would have been 1yo Adults! ;-) So wrap your head around that one..
