  • This week, Ron Matsen speaks with Chuck Missler about this preposterous belief. Is the Rapture something that is BIBLICAL? Has the Rapture happened already? What should we be watching for? Will the Body of Christ REALLY skip out on God's wrath?
This was recorded on the 27th of April 2016. If you would like to watch these sessions LIVE, please go to tv.khouse.org God Bless

I found Chuck's videos by grand design only 3 months ago, I watch every one I can find, I can't describe the fondness and sincere appreciation I feel for This Brother,💕I love his calm and direct style of teaching, and how he makes God's word just POP out there in Revelation and Truth, My heart felt so sad when I found a comment stating he had gone home to be with our Heavenly Father💔💔💔But I am comforted knowing I will see him ❤️❤️🙏

      You don't make any sense.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ through John says otherwise. Also, King David says that you don't know what you're talking about. *All who believe in Jesus Christ are the Bride but we are also "SHEEP"* -
Jesus Christ is the Shepherd. YAHWEH-ROHI [yah-way-roh-hee]: "The Lord Our Shepherd" (Psalm 23:1) - After David pondered his relationship as a shepherd to his sheep, he realized that was exactly the relationship God had with him, and so he declares, “Yahweh-Rohi is my Shepherd. I shall not want”
      John 10:16
And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd (Jesus Christ).

I began questioning things, started critically thinking about the world at large and started questioning what I wanted out of life or rather what God wanted for me out of life. Chuck Misslers message on the book of Daniel made me realize I am a lot of things but a monster isn't one of them I felt like I should be married, have kids and now I run a fairly successful business and my needs are always supplied. Mr Missler "Chuck" is and has been such a blessing to so many people. I just recalled how many letters I received from Nan and Chuck while I was in prison. been out for 23 years now. but they have shown so much brotherly love in Christ that nobody would know of. I'd sent a letter asking for a study and guess I shared some of my testimony and Nan sent the study and wrote a personal note of encouragement, and Lisa their daughter sent me pictures from Israel. all I can say is that it lifted me up for them to even bother to write. Now is the time to hoard this Bread. Uncorrupted Bibles and Bible study materials will likely soon be gone. +Lukewarmnomore if there is no escape or rapture why does Jesus himself tell us to pray that we may be found worthy to ESCAPE the wrath to come? Also, the bible says as it was in the days of Noah so shall it be, and also the days of lot... in both instances there were people who were saved or moved Before the harm came. There is no condemnation in Christ. We have already been judged, Jesus took our punishment. We have a hope. and if it be that I have misunderstood I will still have My Hope.

    • @davidallds7340
      @davidallds7340 6 лет назад +4

In Noah's day the wicked were taken and destroyed the righteous endured and made through. God way of doing things has never removed His people from harm. He has always said trust in me and I will see you through. All through the old testament he made Israel and Daniel the lions den, 40 years in the wilderness. Why now would we ever think he is going to rapture his people from danger. Where's the faith in that?
Then if everyone is raptured to heaven to be with God isn't Jesus the life and resurrection?
No resurrection if your are raptured up to heaven and what about your sins. Oh Jesus just takes us up transforms us without being judged? Doesn't make sense.
It's a wonderful idea and it makes for great book and movie. But to me it reads like the DaVinci code.
Potter's wheel we must be broken to be used by God. This whole raptured to heaven when God created us as earthly creatures. Just doesn't make good sense to me. Sounds like the easy way out that Satan's teaching Christians to keep us off guard and unprepared for the great tribulations. What a surprise huh. Just saying what if.
Oh don't worry about it I won't have to endure anything I'll be raptured up long before that. Surprise. Your weak faith will get you killed. Be prepared just like the Christians that were fed to the lions or be headed or burned in Caesars garden for torchlight. Beware. It is a blessing for those who endure and persecuted for my name sake.
I am the light and the resurrection. One holds his life dear shall lose it. Live your life as a living sacrifice dying each day so you may have life everlasting.
Now that sounds more like the God I have learned to love and respect.
      How about you?

It speaks in vs 1 of 2 different events..
      The second coming..
      Our gathering together with Him..
Vs 2...the day of the Lord..or the second coming.
But first comes apostacy, and the man of lawlessness vs 3.
Vs 6 then says the Restrainer restrains him..
      Vs 7 the Restrainer.
specifically the pronoun "he", not "it", is "taken" out of the way.
"Then", it says, the lawless one will be revealed.
You see, you have to READ the bible...in context.
Not just look for proof texts.
1 thes 2 plainly refutes your theory bc you haven't read it...have you?
But why not oppose mid trib?
Or if you're mid, then oppose post trib?
At least one of these views are wrong...aren't they? Wassup with that?
      No one ever does this.
      Why?
Its just a pet theory of mine. But I believe satan uses carnal Christians to oppose the truth of the pre trib catching away.
It is the only view I ever see get any criticism...and I find that rather telling...don't you? lol

    The Party
Imagine that on Saturday you make a reservation with one of the entertainment facilities that provides for children. You plan a party for your child and his friends. You pay the fee and the appointed time is set for one week away early on Saturday morning. You tell your child that there is a party planned for him and his friends. You do not tell him the exact appointment time. You want him to go about his activities and be motivated by the hope of going to the party. You tell him to invite his friends.
The child is curious and impatient and asks when the party will start. You do not tell him the exact time but say that there are some other things that must happen first and the party will happen at the appointment time. “You have to go to school first and study your lessons. Other things are going to happen first, especially on the day before the party.” Then you tell the child what some of the other things are and especially those things that will take place on the day before the party.
Some of your child’s friends find out about the planned party. Their imaginations run wild. They tell your child that the party could happen at any time. They think it is imminent. Your child says, “No, it is not going to happen at just any moment. It will happen at the appointment time. That is what my father told me and I believe him”
Late on Friday, the day before the party, the friends say to the child, “Now the party can start at any time because all the things your father said would happen have already happened. It is imminent.”
The child responded, “There is one thing my father said would happen on the day before the party that has not yet been revealed. So it is not imminent. My father always tells the truth. One more thing must happen today then the party will be at the appointed time tomorrow.”
This story of the party is the story of the rapture. An incorrect teaching and belief that the Lord’s Kingdom was imminent actually took place while Jesus was still on the earth after His resurrection ! It is recorded in our Bibles. In my 40 years of Bible study I’ve never heard one sermon or one teaching about it. Not even in prophecy studies !
In John chapter 21 verses 15-23, Jesus is drawing Peter to follow Him. Peter tries to change the subject and speaks of John who is there and says, “What about this man?”
In a polite way Jesus in effect tells him forget about John this is between me and you.
The exact words in verse 22 are
“If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you? You follow me.”
This caused a false belief and teaching by the very Apostles themselves! They began to teach that Jesus would return before John would die. In other words they were teaching that the return of Christ was imminent.
This was an incorrect teaching and God dealt with it by having John correct it in the writings we have in our Bibles in the book of John. Verse 22 has the Lord’s words that were misinterpreted.
The very next verse, verse 23, makes the correction. It says,
“Then this saying went out among the brethren that this disciple would not die. Yet Jesus did not say to him that he would not die, but, “If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you?”
The incorrect teaching of the Lord’s return being imminent crept into the church early in its history. It was even believed and taught by the very Apostles themselves. God corrected that error and recorded it in our Bibles. Why did God bother to record it for us to read in our day?
Perhaps it was because He knew that near the time of Christ’s return the incorrect teaching of it being imminent would once again be a problem.
The return of Christ to resurrect His Church and to rapture the living believers has never been imminent throughout the history of the Church. Consider just a few of the things that had to happen before Christ would return. Peter would die a martyr’s death by being crucified. Jesus told him this on the same occasion that is recorded in John chapter 21 that we just looked at.
The temple would be destroyed. Israel would be destroyed as a nation and the survivors scattered throughout the world. Gentiles would control Jerusalem until close to the time of the Lord’s return. Israel would once again become a nation. Israel would regain control of Jerusalem.
The gospel would be preached in all the world. The nations surrounding Israel would unite together in calling for her destruction. There would be a falling away from God and from the truth of His teachings.
That brings us up to today. During none of those over 1900 years has the Lord’s return been imminent. It could not happen at just any time. All of the events mentioned above and others had to be completed before the appointed time for the return would come.
It has been taught for the past many decades that all events foretold to happen before the Lord’s return have taken place and He could return at any moment. That is not true. There is at least one major event that must take place before the Lord’s return for the resurrection and rapture. Even after that event the exact day and hour of the Lord’s return will not be known to us. It will take place at the appointed time.
We have a prophetic verse that tells us of two things that must happen before the resurrection of the Church and the rapture. One of those things is the ‘falling away.’ This is the falling away from God in general and in the falling away from teaching the true doctrines of the Bible. We can see that falling away taking place today.
Before looking at the second thing that must take place before the resurrection and rapture lets look at the situation with the Church at Thessalonica. Paul had been there and helped them. While he was there he taught them about the resurrection and rapture. After he left, someone by letter or word convienced the Church there that they had missed the resurrection and rapture. In other words they had been ‘left behind.’ In his second letter to Timothy, Paul identified two men who were falesly teaching that ‘the resurrection is already past: and they overthrow the faith of some.’ See 2 Timothy 2:17-18. This was a very serious problem.
As you can imagine, the Church at Thessalonica was very upset about this and wrote to Paul asking for help. Paul told them God would ‘repay with tribulation those who trouble you.’
In chapter 2 verses 1-3 Paul tells them that two things that had not yet happened in their time had to happen before the resurrection and rapture.
1 Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you,
2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come.
3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed....
So the two things Paul told them that had not happened yet were 1. the falling away and 2. the man of sin must be revealed. In verse 5 he reminds them that he taught them these things when he was with them. See how easy it is for Church members to be lead astray by false teaching?
In our time the falling away is taking place. The man of sin (the Antichrist that Paul goes on to talk about in the rest of chapter 2) has not yet been revealed. These verses show us that the Antichrist must be revealed before the resurrection and rapture of the church.
Some would argue that the verse that tells us no man knows the day or the hour prevents this from being true. No it doesn’t. The Antichrist can be revealed and then there can be some amout of time before the 7 year peace plan is made and begins. During that time the resurrection and rapture can take place and no one will know what day it is going to be.
So what is the danger of the incorrect teaching that the rapture is imminent and no events remain before it can take place? Remember Paul said of those who were teaching that they overthrew the faith of some. Think about it. Today if a man came on the scene who was clearly the Antichrist and recognized by Christians what would they think?
Many would think they had been ‘left behind’ just like the people at Thessalonica. It would trouble them and it might even ‘overthrow’ their faith. Some might turn their back on their faith. Some might commit suicide. Who knows all the harm it might cause.
Look closely at what Paul said about this ‘man of sin.’ It says he must be revealed. What he does not say is just as important. Paul did not say he must be in power yet or have made a 7 year peace treaty with Israel yet. Only that he must be revealed. Think about it this way. Every 4 years the US elects a new president. The election takes place in November and the winner is revealed. The winner becomes known to everyone. Yet the winner does not take office until some time later in January. It is only then that he has power to do things. Perhaps that is the way it will be when the Antichrist is revealed.
So dear brother or sister in Christ, if you are around when the Antichrist is revealed do not panic. You have not been ‘left behind.’ Remember the Church at Thessalonica and what God had to say to them through Paul. Once he is revealed then it will imminent.

    • @wilfhigginson465
      @wilfhigginson465 4 года назад

By all means your points a accurate. But the "lawless one being revealed" does not fully undermine "imminence". The ability for political change to happen rapidly based on one seemingly insignificant event, shows how quickly and perhaps simultaneously events of massive proportion can happen. (Example : the assassination of Arch Duke Ferdinand). To put a finer point on it: Believers ought not to fear that they have been "left behind" if the the "man of sin" has not been revealed, but that doesn't mean they will not be raptured before "he" is revealed.

@@stevenhamilton801 Well iv'e never heard that theory before but it's worth a listen and study.
Job believed in a post trib event, there's no such thing as a rapture but job was taught by Adam of a second coming.
Thess 4.... Paul clearly taught the second coming and rapture are the same event... First let me ask, did you ever wonder why he said we meet Jesus in the clouds rather than heaven? lets turn to sound scripture for the answer.Job 14:12 So man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep.2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the next heavens will pass away with a roar. Now Paul says in 1 Thess 4....Concerning the Lord’s visible, physical return, the apostle Paul tells us, “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then WE which are alive and REMAIN shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Why the meeting in the clouds, heaven is destroyed according to Job.
Not ONE scripture says we will return to heaven for some supper.
? Jesus said the son and moon would be darkened "immediately after the tribulation of those days" (Matthew 24:29)
? The son and moon are darkened at the opening of the sixth seal, as clearly stated in Revelation 6:12,13.
? Therefore the tribulation must be over as the sixth seal is being opened.
? Jesus returns at the "last trump" (1 Cor 15:52, also 1 Thess 4:16) to resurrect the "dead in Christ." The "last trump" is the seventh of the seven trumpets that make up the seventh seal (Revelation 8:1 through 11:15)
? Given that the sixth seal comes before the seventh seal (and the 7th seal's seven trumpets) it is obvious that the tribulation is over well before Jesus returns and resurrects the dead in Christ. The sixth seal, and the first six trumpets of the seventh seal must all occur after the tribulation but before the "last trump."
? Quoting 1 Thess 4:16,17: "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."
Those who are "alive and remain" are "caught up" after the resurrection of the "dead in Christ" at the "last trump." They are "caught up" with the resurrected, to "meet the Lord in the air". . . well after the tribulation is over.
? Pre-tribulation rapture??? Not in my Book or Gods book, alive and well in Darby's book.

The rapture is such a crazy, insane notion - and yet, in reality, the whole of scripture is full of crazy, insane notions! Virgin birth, giants, full earth floods, ressurections, miracle healings, talking donkey....the list goes on! We should not even be a bit suprised that God has this planned, look at all He has done! Perhaps it's the grandness of the scale, size and impact of the rapture that plants disbelief in some Christian hearts.......well done Chuck and Ron - solid teaching as always, yet still the encouragement to check it all out for ourselves. Well done and thankyou.

      But remember;
"14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and
one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but
you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. 18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your[a] works, and I will show you my faith by my[b] works. 19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe-and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?[c] 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? 22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”[d] And he was called the friend of God. 24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only..."

+Red Shift Not judging or saying you're foolish by the way; I have no idea about your personal life. My point is, so many "Christians" say they have faith, yet continue to live in willful sin, and when our King returns, He will tell them "depart from me, you who practice lawlessness". Unfortunately, many "Christians" will end up being sent to destruction. Not saying that's you, it's just a very important message that most "Christians" don't want to promote, as it would be "inconvenient". Love and light

+Bruce Wayne It just may be that after the Church has brought the Gospel to the World, at the point where the world has completely rejected that Gospel and the Church, that this would be when Jesus comes for the Bride.
Much of the Tribulation seems to be God allowing the world to have the results of what it has asked for. And then the final Wrath of God portion is when God then punishes the wicked of the earth.
We seem to be entering a time where the Church/ Gospel is now being completely rejected by the world and that signals that we are very near the end of the age of the gentile grace period. The Gospel is now considered hate speech and several universities have banned it's teaching without a permit so as not to offend the transgenders. Children will then be forced the teachings of transgenderism and I do not think God will allow this to go on for very long. Judgement may be coming very soon to stop the results of children being further deceived into endless punishment without them being offered salvation......without the choice, they have no chance and God will not allow that to go on much longer.!

To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Paradise was pre-resurrection. Jesus conquered death, paradise is empty.

Yes paradise is empty. Just a few hours ago a fine Christian woman (78yrs) passed away in my arms. I prayed as she died for Jesus to take her in his arms. I am sad for me but she has her reward. Now it is up to us Christians today to keep our faith to the end of this world or the end of our lives. May our God give us strength to endure whatever this wicked world does to us.

13:00. I am glad to hear Dr. Missler refer to the Hidden ones in Psa 83. Ever since I started studying that passage and its end times implications I have suspected it was referring to either a raptured church or a bride hidden from Israel namely the church.

God promised his people we will never know his wrath (Romans 8:1). Since God is no liar He _has to_ remove his people before he pours out his wrath on the earth. He did it to Noah and Lot and their willing family members, and He will do it again.
_“Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s law, but in my sinful nature a slave to the law of sin. Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.”_ ‭‭Romans‬ 7:25 + ‭8:1-2‬

Toward the end, Chuck allows for the possibility that the
Church may be around during the first 3 1/2 years of the 7 year period.
And we are invited to be as the Bereans - as I do.
I respect Chuck and have listened to scores of his videos
    and we agree on much.
So the following comments are not to attack him in any way.
The Bible tells us to correct a wise man and he will be thankful
If I am correct in my interpretation then a wise may will be glad
if I correct his incorrect interpretation.
If I am wrong then I will be glad to be corrected.
    May God be our teacher.
