Thank you so much, I just replaced the filter for the first time in my 2002 Maxima, was filthy. The dealer and AAA wanted about $80 to do it, I bought the 2 filters at a local parts shop for $22.99. 5 places didn't carry them and tyhis place had 1 set left. It took me 15 minutes. Thanks again for the video.
You're welcome!
I did it on my '02 Maxima GLE, and it only took about 15 minutes. I'm surprised how easy it was! This vid helpled alot, thanks.
You're welcome!
Very good, I needed instructions on how to remove and replace a glove box with broken hinges, this was perfect. Gonna replace the filters while doing that. Million thanks!!
You're welcome!
Thank you for the very helpful video! I just replaced the filters on my 2002 Maxima GLE.. other than getting the glove box back into the correct slots/position it was a piece of cake. This video was a lifesaver.
Thank you for watching!

Excellent how-to! Thanks. Easier than it looks, no worries. May want to vacuum out the filter slot while you have it open. My Infiniti obviously had never been done-was totally choked with debris, dust, leaves etc. Loose the compost pile, do it ASAP!
Thank you and yes it is a great idea to clean out the access debris.
it served me for my samsung sq5 2001.. thanks a lot from Chile
You're welcome from America!!
The original filter has an arrow pointing up. Our filters have an arrow showing you the direction in which the air is flowing. If you install the new filters with the cross braces towards the drivers side you will be installing it correctly.
Great video--clear and concise. Thanks!
Thank you for watching!
Thanks for the video - instructions are perfect for my Maxima SE 2002. Had a bit of difficulty though getting the glove box lined up on the right hand side during reassembly - if the bottom right is not seated correctly, the top right will be too high and will not snap back into place.
My old filter was disgustingly filthy :-(
It might be time to change your cabin air filter. filterheads.com
You're welcome! We're glad you changed that filter, a filthy filter is bad filter!
You should replace your cabin filter every 1 year or 15,000 miles. If you live in an area with a lot of smog or around a lot of trees you might want to consider replacing it more often because you'll have more debris that may clog up the filter.
Thanks for the instructional video. It helped out alot before I attempted it on my own. Keep up the great work!
Thank you for watching!
Many vehicle filters are placed into a particular space or slot that allows for little to no movement. I would suspect the issue being in the blower.
Those are some very clean new filters
Yes they are. Thank you for watching!
Thank you for the video!
Glad it was helpful!
Mechanic did Cabin filter on my 2003 Maxima last time. Next time I'm going to do it myself. This one is more work than a 2008 Corolla that I did for someone recently. That only took like 5 minutes.
Happy to know we can help! Thank you for watching.
Ouch! I hope our video made the process much easier than it was for the pervious owner!
I don't know about getting a filter that catches smaller particles. Our filters are made to the specifications of the OEM filter, however you could also get a charcoal filter that catches more of the odor.
All you need out is dust, if you have odors clean your car :P Just kidding, but no really clean it. FRAM makes one infused with Baking Soda, not sure how well it works but thats all they had at Canadian Tire when I bought mine today.
Thanks for the video guys!
Thank you for watching!
The filter the air that comes from the outside of you vehicle so that you are not breathing in any pollutants. A good example would be the pollen that fills the air during the season. Those particles would get caught in your filter and wouldn't make it inside you cabin for you to breathe in.
If the cabin air filter hasn't been changed in a long time (or ever) it can get clogged with many different things. I haven't heard of a burnt smell before but changing the filter would be a good first step to see if it resolves the issue.
My care also had a burnt smell . Turns out there had been no filter in it for 2 years.
I'm sorry, when I replied to you comment I didn't realize which video you were commenting on. the AQ1093C filter that we sell is a charcoal filter.
Do all 2000 Maxima's have in cabin filters? And, would a clogged filter explain why we can feel coldness but not be getting any actual air flowing into the cabin? I've check fuses for the blower motor and think this would be the next logical step (and least costly) before having the blower motor replaced. Thanks!
If you can tell me the year, make and model of your car I can further assist you. A cabin filter filled with debris can restrict your air flow. Thank you for watching!
Could they have made it any more complicated? Lol. Yikes. Ok doable out to get a new one. Thanks for the video.
You're welcome!
Honda’s were way worse back in these times. I did a 98 accord and they had so much crap on the way of it.
Thanks for that need to do mine on the Infiniti
Thank you for watching!
Great instructions! Does there have to be a service message on the glove box somewhere. We have a 2000 Nissan and I was not able to see any kind of message. Thanks!
You can still check to see if there is a cabin filter but most likely you do not have one in your model.
ONE VIDEO FOR THE 201O MAXIMA PLEAAAASE .. THIS THING IS EATING ME ALIVEE
The link below will take you to a cabin filter install for a 2009 Nissan Maxima. Installation should be similar. Thank you for watching!

What happens if they are not changed? I know mine have never been touched and the car has very high miles on it? Thank you
The cabin air filter helps filter dust and debris from entering the cabin of the vehicle. It is especially helpful during allergy season because it keeps pollen from entering the cabin of your vehicle through your air system. A dirty cabin filter can restrict your air flow. Thank you for watching!
We recommend changing your cabin filter every year or 15,000 miles.
Muuuy bueno para reemplazar piezas en casa, exelente el servicio
Thank you for watching!
This helped me thank you
You're welcome!
very professional video
Thank you!
I assume a RHS maxima would just be the same but on the opposite side of the car. Can you get filters which have superior filtering to the OEM spec (as in, they filter smaller particles)? I own an A33 Maxima (RHS)

Just curious, what happens if you disconnect the yellow airbag harness??
If you disconnect it like we did you should be fine. I would not disconnect it in a different way.
Tiene un máxima 95 filtro de aire de cabina? Does a máxima 95 cabin air filter?
The 95 model did not come with the cabin air filter option.
Can i use 1 singular filter to replace the 2 with or do i beed the 2 specific filters?
It is best to install the cabin air filter that is built for the housing.

After check the ac level in my 95 máxima and still does not get cold enough and no have cabin air filter. What else do I have to check?
Yes the 95 model did not come with the cabin air filter option. Vacuuming out your car will help but will not solve the problem.
Thanks for your help
You're welcome!
WHAT YEAR MAXIMA IS THIS FOR ALSO I HAVE A 99 MAXIMA DOES IT HAVE ONE????????/
The model shown in this video is a 2000 Nissan Maxima.
The 1999 Nissan Maxima did not come with the cabin air filter option.

How to remove that passenger side panel where the ecm/ecu is located??
What is the make model and year of your car?
2000 i30 Infiniti....but I removed it already, I had to remove the glovebox first.
How often should you change this filter
You should change your cabin filter once a year or every 15,000 miles.
Ok thanks!
Wow that is easy
Glad we could help!
What is the reason to change this?
The cabin air filter helps filter dust and debris from entering the cabin of the vehicle. It is especially helpful during allergy season because it keeps pollen from entering the cabin of your vehicle through your air system.
how do I find out about the charcoal option?
Are you wanting to know about our carbon filter? The link to purchasing a carbon filter is below. Thank you for watching!

Has maxima 2002 filter?
Your Nissan Maxima will have a caution or service label will be on glove box door if vehicle is equipped with cabin filter.
No, pollen filtration is desirable in addition to dust (allergies like hayfever).
Thank you for watching!

Maxima a33 same filter or different?
This filter fits Nissan Maxima 00-03. So if your car was made in 2000-2003 the installation should be the same. Thank you for watching!

That's some piss poor design. Changing the filter in my old car took about 5-10 minutes, no tools. Flip two plastic switches on the sides of the glove box, unhook the cables, pull out a face plate, slide out the filter, slide in a new filter, hook the two cables back to the glove box.
