    Looks like great game, especially for a $20 MSRP. Definitely need to pick this one up for travel.

    Is there a limit to the amount of monsters you can have on the table? I feel like sometimes I had 6 on the table playing solo

    at 10 minutes, why not use the crit to change the die to a 5, and place on the rats (using the ranger to double it after placing) and potentially have a 50% chance to be able to put the d12 on the other mob?

      Change it to a 4 but yeah that's what I would have done.

      That's a great plan, I just didn't see it. So many ways to use these dice!

    if u deal the boss the 50th point of damage...but in taking damage from the boss u also die...is it a win?

      Unfortunately, it's been too long since I played this game to remember the rules enough to answer your question. Sorry about that!

    This game seems VERY similar to set a watch.

    • @StevenStJohn-kj9eb
      @StevenStJohn-kj9eb 2 года назад +1

      I do think they are similar. A big difference is that in Set A Watch you get worse as the game goes along. You have some ability to heal damage, but you never get any stronger. In this game, at least you pick up items that can be helpful later. But a lot of the creature effects and ways to mitigate dice rolls are similar. Another difference is the various dice types. In Set A Watch you are rolling 3 d8s or 3 d6s depending on the character.

    I like the game the only problem I see , is that if you add the traps the player don’t stand a chance . I
    think the designers could’ve put at least 2 cards with healing of 2 or heal 1 to all or something like that in the mix.

      Try dividing the number of trap cards by number of characters being used and add that many.

    At 58:50 the Cleric should have used their Potion of Prowess to change the D20 to a 3 for the Knight to get a crit!

      @JonGetsGames  2 года назад +2

      Oh wow, that would have been a WAY better thing to do vs what I did. I didn't see that option at all!

    I feel like I'm missing something @1:10:45... isn't that 47 points of damage?

      There's a 4 on a d4 as well. I missed this and had to rewatch it myself.

    Strange clock you use, must start at 6.

    • @JonGetsGames
      @JonGetsGames  2 года назад

      The "clock" is the center of the table, which is usually the case when playing with other people around a table.

    Hmm... Interesting, but too luck based for me. I suppose for a game called "Dice anything", I don't know what I was expecting lol.
