    Good afternoon Sir, glad to see everything's coming together. Too bad you had to drive clear down and not come home with the motor. Good job on the tank cleaning. Keep up the good work and keep the content coming.

    SirCrunch, that's your vent on top of the tank. If it were a return, it would be on the sending unit, next to the main line. I bet they didn't use the carbon canisters in the '69 Econolines, so that's why you didn't have a vent on your tank. My '73 has a send, return, and vent (and carbon canister next to the transmission)

    My 69 has a hump in the top and bottom where the float sits when empty or full.

    My 69 e300 has a model specific sender. Only works in 69.
