Hey I really liked the video format. Straight talk, how to instructions. The editing was spot on. Please do more in this fashion. You also have a great weekend. And continue to teach your son by example.
Took apart the air filter box on my Honda 900 custom to replace it with 4 individual filters. What a nightmare! No room to move anything. Had to practically tear all the carbs off to get the box out. Then I had to take it in to have the carbs and linkage re-installed. But it made the bike run better and sound better as well. Rode it a few times and found out with my hand injury I couldn’t hold on to the grip when I rode highway speed. Sold it. Hated to do it!
Sometimes I do a repair and feel a bit dissatisfied with it but then I see things like the previous 'repairs' on this bike and I don't feel so bad at all! 😄 Cheers
Ya that's the most used "low hour" bike I've ever seen. And I'm glad you had Josh there to keep you honest. Thanks for the video entertainment and tell Josh "Good Job!".
Dang Jason that’s a nice bike! I can’t wait to hear that fire up!! Josh says...I don’t believe that! 😂 You have a great weekend too!! Great video as usual.
Just finished up new rear tube battery and fuel lines on my 450 Trying to get a few people together to ride next weekend looking forward to seeing you rip that RM around👍🏼😎
Always enjoy watching what you and josh are up-to you’ve got similar interests to me I enjoy working on older bikes and run a 1970 1500 beetle I’ve owned since 1985. My sons have all grown up and moved out but we had hours of fun riding dirt bikes and now they borrow the beetle and love it 👍🏻🇬🇧
Nice! Currently reviving 6 RM80’s ranging from -82 to -06. Learning a lot from watching you and mustie etc. and ofcourse the vids help me stay motivated! Thanks
Back in 1973 a friend had a Suzuki 250 with a Baker racing frame that he raced. I think it was a T20 Not ram air. He made his own expansion chambers. The power curve was like....BANG. He said the throttle was an on off switch when racing motocross.
I put on a set & went to a race up in Maine , I cut them off after practice ....maybe i got a little arm pump from hangin' onto to that 450 in 4th gear a little too tight :).
Invest in a #1 and a #2 JIS Phillips screwdriver. The phillips screws on the japanese bikes are JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard), and an SAE phillips screwdriver does not fit them correctly. You will be amazed at the difference.
@@5150mxVW OK, many people are not aware that there is a difference. Ya gotta love those previous "mechanics". I like to call them magicians. They can turn what would have been a 5 min. job into a 2 day adventure!
Please post more of these! Beautiful bikes and interesting videos. We’ve got to see that CR! I just picked up an all original 87’ CR125R for $700 (500usd) here in Australia. Super rare and insanely cheap.
I really enjoy your motorcycle videos but what happened to them? The "free CR125" , the Yamaha DT 125, the Honda XL 80, and this Suzuki RM 125 all disappeared. Would love to see follow ups on the motorcycle projects.
You do so much awesome work on the channel & take time to show everybody how to do things that’s why I think your channel so awesome and hopefully you’ll get the rest of those motorcycles done. Thanks, keep up the good work and more videos see you then thanks
Love these dirt bike rebuilds.Im rebuilding a 1989 cr125.Watched your cr 125 Rebuild videos but you never finished it on RUclips.Hope You can finish this one
Well , you got me inspired to do the same with a 91 KX 250 project that someone literally threw away.. It needs much more work than yours, but it didn't deserve to die in a dumpster... Great videos brother. Thanks "G" I'm 10-7
Nice way of secretly showing off your charger or is it your charger ?do a quick video on that thing ,good work on the bike to !good to see your son helping .hes awesome !! That guys gonna go into the world knowing what’s what!

Shocked when that pivot bolt just slid out! I was doing my atc 250r build a few years ago and that sucker was seized up so bad I had to use a cut of wheel to get it off. When I went to press what was left out it bent the stock swing arm. Took me hours wrestling with that stupid thing. Looking forward to this build for sure. Also... I hate the Phillips too. One of the best investments I made was getting a $25 set of JIS screw drivers. They hook into those screws like crazy. Look the same as Phillips, but they aren’t. (Credit to mustie1 on that one). Never even knew they existed until I saw one of his vids. Ps...the worst are the ones on the carb bowls.
91 & 92 mine too , not yet , I should have an update vid on this next . I rented a shop for the Vw stuff and set up my garage for the Mx content . thank you Daniel
Ah, zip ties - the mark of a true professional repair... Good thing you bought that bike before another "professional" could screw it up more. You should have a good weekend as well.
Noticing the welds on the bottom of the head tube. Is that just what factory welds looked like back in the day or has that been repaired? Looks like a gob of bubblegum with yellow paint over it.
Are you still looking for a motor by chance? I've decided to part my 92 rm125 out and it's complete. I'm sure I'll regret doing it but let me know if you need anything
Doing same bike ,getting rid of all the casting marks on the bright work is a pain but looks class with full polished bits ,carb and swing arm might be going to blasting💛👍🐢
Nice work. I tell you; when I discovered JIS (Japanese Industry Standard?) screwdrivers - Game changer. They actually fit the (what I thought of as) soft-as-shite alloy on my bikes and mean a lot of times, you don't have to break out the Mole-Grip pliers.
Hey bud just a quickie Dave Allen here again so all those gas cans you having a back I have several of the same kind they don't vent worth a crap can actually look on Steve's Small Engine Saloon and he has a solution to put in these Vent caps on. You can get the yellow Vent caps for like a couple dollars and he has a certain spot you can put it in all it is is a drill snaps and place and it's good to go and you can use your thumb to put over when you want to slow the fuel down when you're filling up something
